Quick service and good poke! My favorite was actually the pickled cucumbers, but they're not like pickles. It was a pleasant surprised when I tried them. I appreciate having a poke place near the hospital, there's not a lot of food options around there. Having poke on a hot day hits the spot. It's a smaller restaurant with a couple seating. It's also a coffee shop too!

Been here a couple times and the poke bowls have always been great. Got a salmon bowl this time and I tried their temptation bowl before. Both were delicious but I do prefer the traditional salmon bowl. I also tried the taro milk tea over ice and it was better than I expected. The boba was chewy and had a good amount of sweetness, but the taro drink itself did taste a bit powdery. Overall, really enjoy the food and the friendly staff here!

This place was just okay. They have a lot of things going on (coffee, poke, boba, hot foods), and I wasn't overly impressed with my first visit. However, it wasn't bad considering that they don't really specialize in one thing. I stopped by during lunch with my coworkers and ordered their salmon poke bowl. The bowl was fine, but it's not one of the better bowls I've had, and here's why: 1) The amount of fish is substantially less than other poke establishments. 2) They skimped out on my toppings. I could count the number of corn kernels and edamame I received in my bowl, because it was hardly a decent scoop. 3) I don't think lettuce goes with poke bowls, and I would recommend subbing that out. 4) Canned corn 5) The sauce is pretty much sriracha and mayo. However, given its proximity to my work location, it's not a bad option and would come back if I were really craving poke. I also ordered the pina colada smoothie with boba. This was also okay but I'd probably skip this next time since there's much better boba shops in the area (i.e. Sharetea).

I tried out this little coffee shop while waiting for my bus next door. I ordered a cappuccino -- just what I needed for a pick me up. Go check this local shop out!

Wahoooo! Finally started getting out for lunch at work and stumbled upon this little place. The interior is small, but quaint. I arrived right around lunchtime so it was pretty busy! Thankfully I snagged a seat right after I ordered. The salmon in the poke bowl is delishhhhh. Very cold and fresh tasting, with the perfect amount of sweetness in the seasoning. They give you a generous amount of everything -- rice, greens, seaweed salad, kanikama, edamame, and more. I would love to try the different combo bowls they have available, or the hot food they have on the menu. I've been bringing my lunch to work more often now, but I'll for sure be back to try some other menu items... and coffee!

    Temptation Bowl!! Tempting...

Omg.... Hands down, the Temptation Poke is just the best thing. The space is so bright and airy with the biggest windows and pretty marble tables. There is even a gorgeous green velvet love seat for a cute little photo op! The staff is lovely and kind and everyone was accommodating for my annoying needs. Location is perfect for my breakfast, lunch, and brunch break from work. ALSO, the food came out like wildly fast... best thing ever. But seriously, get the temptation bowl.... SO GOOD.

Solid poke joint in the area. Place is small but there are few available seats. Highly recommend the temptation bowl! Fish slices are fresh and nicely marinated. The tempura/wonton strips added a nice texture to the dish. Appreciate the aromatic miso soup that always come with the meal. As also voiced by some reviewers, I notice that the amount of fish is slightly less compared to similar establishments. Not a deal breaker as it all comes down to the freshness and taste. I've never gotten their bubble tea and coffee but their smoothies are always consistent. They also have protein smoothie option available. Overall, would visit again. Not to mention staffs are friendly and welcoming!

Amazing food and great service! I got the poke and it was super fresh. Super close to work and basically no wait. It felt perfect for my lunch break!

Like most poke bowl places, offer both spicy and normal options! And are around 10.95 a pop for a basic bowl. Service was extremely kind even during busy hours. This is a close walk from harborview medical center and has some nice seating with views of the street. Did not try any of the other items on the menu, except the salmon poke bowl- with spicy sauce on the side. The bowls come with miso soup too! ;)

I am a public health microbiologist and work at Harborview Medical Center. Things in public health have been more than a little crazy lately, and coffee is a critical component of success. As a lifelong Seattleite, I have become a bit of a coffee connoisseur; though some would probably tell you that coffee snob is more reflective of reality, but I digress. The two main things I look for in a coffee house are great coffee, and great people with a passion for great coffee. Coffee Tree more than delivers. Concerning the quality of both coffee and character, Coffee Tree and the people who bring it to life are among the best in the city--and this is coming from someone who's been to countless coffee houses. There are some establishments that serve as a convenient go-to for reliably and relatively decent coffee, but not a place you'd go out of your way to visit. At a few blocks from the hospital, Coffee Tree is extremely convenient. It truly is a place worth going to even if it was inconvenient--the first sip of my daily afternoon breve latte is a transformative experience every time. The beans are fresh, the grind is superb, and the shots are pulled perfectly, yielding a rich espresso with subtly sweet notes of caramel that greet you with the unique and intoxicating aroma of well-crafted coffee. Bitterness is nonexistent. Situated on a corner in the shade of trees, and with giant windows and adorable tables and chairs outside to accommodate both indoor and outdoor people-watching preferences, Coffee Tree is a place where coffee lovers will feel at home. Even if you're not usually big on coffee, I suggest a visit; you might just leave as a coffee lover yourself. 10/10, highly recommend. P.S. I feel compelled to add that, as a Seattleite, I borderline despise Starbucks. Starbucks is terrible and taints my city's reputation as the coffee capital of the nation with its shots of mediocre brown liquid made from old beans that taste like someone forgot in the oven more than once.

Salmon poke bowl with all the toppings and salad - no rice!

What?? A coffeeshop that serves poke! Or a Poke place that serves delicious coffee. Either way, I'm a huge fan. I was walking by after getting my nails done and wanted to stop by for a cup of coffee. But I ended up getting a poke bowl as well. This place is super cute inside! It's small but it has big windows and everything is white inside! Perfect for pretty pictures :) my kind of style! The place is small so there's not a lot of seating area except by the bar stool along the window. The staff here was so friendly and kind! I want to come here often and tell everyone to try this place!! Hahah I do feel like this place is overlooked compared to all the other recent new poke places that came up in Seattle - but definitely go try this place out! They give you free miso soup with your bowl which is a plus. Anyways, their poke was super fresh and tasty. You can add corn as a topping to the bowl!!! I love corn so even just that option already won me over times ten! :) I can't wait to go back and get some delicious poke as well as a good cup of coffee!

To best express my feeling of the place, I will go accordingly with the Yelp star-system and I personally have experienced better. And no, I am not referring to Hawaii just to keep this review fair. So Seattle have been crushing on poke like crazy and of course, I plan to try as many places as I am able to do so. Coffee Tree & Poke is conveniently situated in Pill Hill so its a great place for those that work in the area. I went with the poke bowl with salmon. The bowl is similar to 45th Stop and Shop's where its displays other toppings such as avocado, ginger, krab salad, masago, edamame, greens and corn. To be honest with you, I wasn't crazy about this bowl. The poke wasn't as seasoned as I was expecting and under the krab salad was a salad with sesame dressing (aka the side salads you'd find at teriyaki joints). Normally I enjoy these salads but I didn't like how it went with the other flavors in the bowl. The bowl wasn't huge but I couldn't finish the bowl since I wasn't liking the mix of flavors. If I do end up at Coffee Tree & Poke again, I will definitely just get poke and rice. Honestly poke doesn't need to have so much going on to be great, just as long as the fish is fresh and is seasoned just right.

One of the reasons I miss working at Harborview is poke! As busy as they can get during rush hour, they work pretty darn fast and always friendly. The place is always clean and lots of natural light which makes the place so inviting. They have the best spicy salmon bowl!!!

This spot was recommended to me by a friend. The interior of the restaurant was warm and very decorated. There were a lot of Hawaiian cultural references, which added to the ambiance. The staff were so friendly and very helpful. And despite it being super busy the day that I went, they were all patient with each customer. I had a few samples of their fish, and let me tell you, the fish is FRESH. I am usually picky with tuna because they tend to have a fishy taste, but Ono's tuna was NOT fishy at all. Also, all the different flavors of poké were seasoned PERFECTLY. I got the spicy salmon and the scallop poke. They were both buttery and tender. The flavors did not overtake the natural flavor of the fish, and the sauce was seeped deep into the salmon; the same goes for the scallop. Sometimes at poké restaurants the sauce will sit on top of the fish, but NOT HERE. This place is genuinely SO SO good. I highly recommend coming to this place and trying their poké! + This place is so good that I am willing to make the trip out to this place if I am ever back in this state.

If you're a fan of Red Bowl in Financial District, this place has a similar vibe with its approach to rice bowls. Having been here twice on different weeks, I think this will become one of my go-to places in the area when I'm craving fresh seafood on a weekend south of downtown. LOGISTICS Parking is convenient for Georgetown area, given they have a dedicated lot for customers of businesses in the area. Entering in, you order through the kiosk and if you're dining in, you can seat yourself and they'll bring the order to you. The space is small for larger groups but if you're 4 people or less, generally there are tables available on off peak hours (at least what we observed Sat/Sun). Ordering happens at the kiosk, which you can choose for takeout or to dine in. Keep in mind there are some items available for dine-in only (ex. udon or seared salmon bowls), but if you plan on doing takeout anyways you can order online or call ahead for pickup. Note - they do close at 2:30 pm but re-open at 4:30 pm. So long as you get your order in by 2:30 pm they'll still service you... which was nice since the last two times we came in around 2:00 PM. FOOD First off, they have nice nice presentation both in how the food is arranged and the bowls they use when dining in. From the ceramic/decorative bowls to the trays they use... it's the little things that add to the dining experience and make you think a business cares about its food. (Note: there was one time we had initially ordered togo but decided to eat in person; so they kept the food in plastic bowls for one of my photos.) In every bowl we had during our two visits, the rice was excellent! We've had some terrible rice at other donburi places before where it can be too overcooked or too mushy. Fortunately their seasoned rice was a good texture and tasty to eat on its own. The seafood was also excellent for the price / quality - fresh tasting with a melt-in-your mouth texture. Volcano Bowl: Spicy salmon + spicy crab salad w/ masago - despite the description it wasn't too spicy (siracha mayo) but it went really well with the rice, like a deconstructed sushi roll. I liked mixing in some wasabi to give it a stronger kick. Aburi Sake Bowl (seared salmon bowl): This is only available to order for dine-in; if you love salmon... I would recommend this one. Seared salmon is delicious seafood umami. I liked how the salmon had the right amount of fattiness too. Chirashi Bowl: If you like variety, then this is an excellent bowl to try a little bit of everything. I was amused that they also included unagi (I don't think I see that in most chirashi bowls). Even the shrimp, which is usually my least favorite part of chirashi bowls, tasted good with a slight sweetness. OVERALL Awesome place and a good location for the area given there's parking available. Price was just right for the quality (I'm amused how much cheaper good seafood is here in Seattle compared to the Bay Area) and the staff were really friendly. There are also two excellent bouldering gyms nearby (Castle Climbing Club and Momentum)... so if you're looking to recharge after a climbing session, I would highly recommend coming here!

Water is self-serve and thankfully presented in a filtered water tank that spits out cold, delicious water. A majority of the bowls are between $13-16 each, which in today's foodflation economy seems expected. The good news is that the portion is substantial in every bowl. My go-to is their chirashi, which is roughly $19 but features a nice array of fish cuts that include salmon, chopped fatty tuna, masago, fresh water eel, shrimp with albacore and another dose of tuna. The unagi don is their most expensive bowl at nearly $21, but the broiled unagi with the eel sauce that is dynamite. The textures, the sweetness, and the size is all on point. And due to its status as a teriyaki city, I think the chicken teri don is an excellent alternative to all the seafood. The teriyaki hits all the right flavor notes, with just enough sweetness with the tenderness of the chicken meat. Add in another $1 and it's a spicy version.
