We grabbed two of the mini banh mi, one with ginger chicken and the other with sausage, plus a sweet condensed milk coffee. Everything tasted great, and while the "mini" really is snack-sized, it was fun to try a couple different flavors. The coffee was sweet, creamy, and refreshing, a good match for the food on a warm day. Service was quick and friendly, which made the whole stop feel easy and enjoyable. There isn't any seating set up, but we found a random café table and chairs around the corner to use while we ate. The area itself is interesting to walk around and explore while you wait, with trains and planes passing close by for a bit of extra character. It is casual and simple, but definitely worth a visit for a tasty banh mi and coffee break.

My husband and I are in love with this place! I think we've visited this cafe about 5 times in the last few weeks. We've ordered/tried almost all of their drinks and have tried 4 of their sandwiches. My fave drinks are the read boat latte and the bac xiu. Their extra strong ca phe sua da is exactly what you need if you're sleep deprived or just need that extra extra boost! We loved all the sandwiches we've tried so far: ginger chicken, pork sausage patty, red curry shrimp, and cold cut special. The staff are always nice and friendly sly and open to suggestions. On weekends, I love how the tables are out so you can hang out a bit while eating your sandwich or just enjoying your drinks. We have a few more drinks and sandwiches to try so we'll be back soon!

Simple and delicious. Service- storefront is essentially like a stand since you walk up and order at the door. Staff is very nice and efficient with taking the orders and keeping you in the loop on where they are at with orders. Ambiance- no seating to eat there so do expect that before going here. Food- if you want real strong Vietnamese coffee without all the bells and whistles, this is it. The sandwiches are simple yet flavorful.

I'll just start off with the food. I got the ginger chicken banh mi, and it was absolutely amazing. The chicken was tender, the bread was the perfect crunchy consistency, and the vegetables were marinated perfectly. The coffee is amazing. I got the coconut rum latte and it honestly was one of the best lattes I've had in a long time. No alcohol, but still intoxicating. (See what I did there) Customer service... Perfect as well. Very friendly and super patient as I stared at the menu trying to figure out what I want. They don't have pup cups, but if you go with your pup, they do have treats on deck. My pup and I will definitely be returning.

We came to sample the bahn mi that had been praised in the Seattle Times, and it did not disappoint, for the most part. The baguette was perfect in texture and flavor - not too soft or too crunchy. The sausage patty was nicely seasoned and the veggies were crisp. If there was a negative, I felt there was a lack of heat from the jalapeños (were they hiding in there at all, or so pickled to lose their spiciness?). Service was great and the space is super cute (walk-up only). I'd definitely go back when in the Georgetown neighborhood.

    Pork banh mi (mini size)

Great hole in the wall spot for the best Vietnamese grab and go food. They have an extensive selection of banh mi sandwiches (pro tip - try a mini version so you can have tool to sample other items). I had the pork patty banh mi in the mini size along with a shrimp spring roll. The sandwich bread was perfect - crunchy on the outside, chewy within and the fillings were perfectly balanced and fresh. The spring roll was huge and super tasty as well. Next time I'll try one of their coffee drinks. Service was super friendly and quick. Be aware that food here is strictly for take out. I took mine to nearby Georgetown Brewery for a pairing with a chocolate stout. Happy tummy indeed.

    - Flavor bomb pork sausage patty, it had lemongrass which balanced out the juicy, savory pork. - Bread was had that perfect crusty, crunchy exterior yet had a soft and airy interior. - Good balance of veggies - Love that you can get a mini sized sandwich if you wanted to - excellent orange coffee, using fresh citrus peels - not too sweet not too bitter - beautiful presentation

I love coming to Georgetown for Voi Ca Phe. It's a walk up storefront with a few metal tables out front and the sheer unlikeliness of the spot is part of its charm. Which is not to say that the food and drinks aren't a draw as well. I LOVE their iced coffees and in addition to a traditional Vietnamese coffee which they do great, you can also get one with coconut condensed milk and iced lattes with Tamarind syrup or pho spices. It's so great to have something different than the usual but I'm still building up my courage to get the black garlic and the fish sauce lattes. Service is wonderful and the baristas are friendly even when there's a line. LOVE this spot. Only downside is the air traffic up above but, hey, that's Georgetown.

    Coconut water matcha

Very friendly staff! Cute little window to order at. I tried the matcha with coconut water which was refreshing. It's nice to have some other options for drinks in Georgetown that aren't brewery's and alcohol! I'd definitely come back again to try other menu items.

Cute little shop. Parked around the corner. Limited parking but we were able to find a street spot. No seating here so takeout only. Not a big deal for bahn mi's though. They have a number of bahn mi options. they also have vietnamese iced coffee which is always strong and good. Pork Sausage (4): Pretty tasty. The pork sausage was good and the bread was fresh. I think those things are what make a bahn mi good. The veggies were fresh as well and the whole sandwich was tasty. Since they didn't have any seating, I took the sandwich down the street to a brewery and ate it there with a beer. This area is nice to walk around with small random shops to explore. If I was in the area, I'd come back and grab another sandwich.

I had a great time visiting voi ca phe! I tried the coffee with condensed milk and the pork sausage patty banh mi. The banh mi was really good! The "mini" size is truly mini (see photo), so I recommend getting the full portion if you want more than just a snack. The coffee was not the best - I couldn't really taste the coffee since it was being over powered by condensed milk and ice so the whole thing was just kind of watered down. The two girls working the cafe were really friendly and made the order very fast! There is no indoor seating, only outdoor seating. Great place to eat and watch the trains and planes pass close by! I enjoyed sitting outside, but the lack of shaded options meant that we couldn't stay too long.

I loved the vegetarian and separate vegan options for the sandwiches. The vegetarian one was excellent! I would have probably added jalapeños in retrospect as it doesn't come standard on all of them but it was very good. My partner also liked the most popular pork patty one. I also love that you can get a full Demi baguette or a cute little mini (or two?). The drinks were all unique and delicious too. The service was polite and helpful with giving recommendations and ideas.

Nem Nướng Hà Nội bánh mì (mini)
    Royal P.

Voi Cà Phê is the best Viet coffee and banh mi I have tried in Seattle. The family that owns the coffee shop also used to run a cafe in Saigon. Here are some favorites: * Nem Nướng Hà Nội bánh mì: My favorite dish here. I believe the pork sausage patty is homemade. The bánh mì always comes out perfectly no matter which sandwich you order. * Cà Phê Sữa Đá: You can tell how good a Viet coffee spot is based on this coffee drink, and it's perfext. * Phở Bò bánh mì: Very unique as you can't find it anywhere else. * Gà Viên Nướng bánh mì * Đặc Biệt bánh mì The Phở Spice Latte was interesting and tastes just like phở, but I prefer the signature cà phê sữa đá. I usually just get the mini version of the bánh mì as it is a sufficient portion. They have a small takeout window that you can order from, and the staff is always super nice. They also support sustainable practices.

I'm actually not a bagel guy, nor do I ever think about them when it comes to grabbing a quick bite somewhere but this was a perfect opportunity to try it again. There was an assortment of bagels, and I got half of an everything bagel and - the one that several of my coworkers highly recommended - the rosemary bagel. Both go well with cream cheese. - The everything bagel was pretty standard; I could taste the garlic and sesame seeds throughout. Garlic was quite powerful on this one though, and I almost thought of garlic bread until I remembered bagels are harder to chew on. - My favorite was the rosemary bagel, just like my coworkers. I could taste the herbs clearly on this one; it was aromatic yet a little bitter. It was balanced with the saltiness already present on the bagel. Since I didn't go to their physical location - which looks like quite a walk from Georgetown - I have yet to see the inside of this place. Having some of their bagels makes me wanna go check it out someday!

Got them home and they were crusty with a good chew. Will be back again next time I'm in Georgetown or Beacon Hill.

For it being less than half an hour before closing, it was packed inside, with two sections of seating for various group sizes, and a casually loud interior with a counter full of water jugs and glass cups in front of a nice plant backdrop with the name of this place in lights. Menu serves a ton of Asian fusion dishes along with some regular entrees and a ton of cocktails and wine. From my sis's recommendation when she went, I got myself the banh mi smash burger after deciding between that and the Pho-rench dip my brother-in-law had. My friend got himself the La Vong fish sandwich, which I didn't get to try though we both did split an order of honey sriracha Brussel sprouts. - For the banh mi smash burger, think of ALL the essential ingredients of a standard banh mi sandwich; then put in a regular beef patty, throw in lemongrass beef as the other meat and add provolone cheese as a complement to the pate-mayo spread. That's what this is in a nutshell, and it tastes exactly like a banh mi sandwich as a result, only in burger form. This was an absolute hit and win for me; beef patty was juicy, condiments were fresh, lemongrass beef was equally as juicy, and the side of fries made this a very filling dish! - I normally don't like Brussel sprouts because of their similar taste profile to asparagus, but I ate a ton of the honey sriracha Brussel sprouts from here. It's sweet and tangy, both of which mask the oddly earthy and bitter tones of regular Brussel sprouts. They're also roasted which further gets rid of that bitter taste I don't enjoy. We rushed a little eating since they were close to closing but we loved everything we got here! I should start keeping a list of places like this one for places I need to make a second and even third visit to for their other dishes.

The walls are covered with trinkets from the 80s and 90s like Homies and California Raisin figurines and KISS Pez dispensers. The food: Smashwich - A really good breakfast sandwich. The hash browns give it some added crunch that is surprising but welcome. Chicken in a Biscuit - The biscuit and chicken taste great. It's a bit hard to eat because of how large of a bite it is and how firm the components are. Vanilla Cream Shokupan Doughnut - The donut portion is tasty and there is a ton of whipped cream on this.
