This food was poorly made. I was expecting to be good after the good customer service but man I was in for a RUMBLE! The food burnt ends taste like the where microwaved & not fresh off the grill! I eat out all the time and I really recommend not to wast you money here! Also I had a meal that came with no drink .... Like how is that a meal? Then I asked it was supposed to come with a drink they said drinks don't come with a meal. Pleased don't no got to this place and spend your money you will not be satisfied read more

Q-BBQ - Burnt Ends Bundle w/2 sides - Barbeque Near Me - Naperville, Illinois

This place was very good for lunch! I walked in, got the burnt ends with corn bread and a side salad, and got my food within 5 minutes of ordering. The burnt ends were good, but I was expecting more because I have read a lot of good reviews of this place. (I will admit, I am biased. I am from St. Louis and let me tell ya- it is hard to beat some St. Louis bbq.) It is a good quick place for lunch. The prices are decent, food is decent. Nothing blew me away and that is why I gave it three stars. The staff was friendly. The place was clean. I will consider giving it one more shot. read more

Let me start out by saying I am NOT a BBQ person. That being said, I truly enjoyed the meal I had at Q. I got the sliced brisket with mac & cheese and mashed potatoes. The brisket was delicious, easily cut with a plastic fork, not over sauced and the portion size was generous. The potatoes were fantastic however the mac and cheese was a little weak (I will definitely get two sides of mashed potatoes next time). I wish they gave you *slightly* larger portions of the sides. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was clean and they have PLENTY of napkins and places to wash your hands! Overall I was pleased with the food and service I got at Q. read more

1st visit, mixed results. Stopped here for dinner after a weeknight appointment at the Apple Store Genius Bar. Had the excellent Pulled Pork Sandwich. My choice of side (choice of one side is included with the meal) was the Mac & Cheese. It was just okay, nothing special. The most disappointing item? The Hush Puppies. They weren't even warm and tasted like they'd been sitting around for a while. 5 stars for the BBQ, but I'm deducting one star for the second-rate sides. I'll probably visit again for the BBQ but will choose a different side and make sure the Hush Puppies are fresh. read more

Really good barbecue food for the price, many good sides! Got the half rack of ribs, three different sliders, The Western salad, and another sandwich. Don't remember the name. Very good, good food. Great for the price. The ribs were extremely tender and the meat fell off the bone which is exactly what you want! had extra sauces at the tables and those enhanced the flavors of the meat. Didn't see any lunch specials but the food is already a bang for your buck. Would suggest this place. Meals are large enough to share. read more

One of my FAVORITE places to visit is Q! The burnt ends AND the corn bread is AMAZING! If you haven't been here before, you gotta try this place AND don't forget the sauces! I've also loved coming here because there have been times when I've gotten free items for various things and I've appreciated how awesome they are for being kind that way! Whether it's for birthdays, etc. :) It's always made my day! The only downside is the parking. It's super hard to find a space close by because it's downtown Naperville. However, that's not their fault so I'm not holding that against them in my rating. The mash potatoes are also REALLY good! I totally love this place, so be sure to check it out! read more

Memphis wings are crispy perfect bird, turkey is poultry perfection is too. Beef and pork and a little light on flavor but sauce is spot on. Fries are nice, beans are crunchy not quite done. Ambiance is cool, but you order first fast casual style, a little of a wait but it's orderly and quick. It's still though one of the best bbq places around, if you like good que it's worth a visit. read more

Perfect lunch time spot! My favorite part of this BBQ restaurant is that the spicy items actually have a zing!

Quantity not quality. Brisket was dry. Pulled pork was also dry. Everything arrived cold as well. Never again!! read more

Great BBQ and friendly staff. I usually order "sliders": 3 mini sandwiches from any of the smoked meats or premium selections. Side dishes are great too (french fries, mac n cheese, cole slaw salad, etc). The only downside is that it's kinda tough to find a parking spot in the area. read more

Q-BBQ - Barbeque Near Me - Naperville, Illinois

Close to the worst food, let alone Q that I've had. ALL of it went into the trash. I spent $30+ for a take out lunch of burnt ends, brisket, sausage, baked beans and slaw. This was the driest, toughest, over cooked, bland leathery meat I've ever had... such a shame! Usually it's gristle or fat that kills a dish but this is apparently a decent cut of meat that was either over cooked or left over from the previous day. We got there around lunch time expecting meat fresh off the smoker, not so. Never will I ever go back! It was awful, the beans and slaw were passable but nothing to repeat, the sausage casing was a tough chew and the beef was inedible, dry, flavorless, and I would t e en give it to my dog! They should be ashamed foisting this crap on clients... My lunch companion ordered wings and ribs ...her ribs went into the trash also! They should apologize BUT our order was carry out and when I opened it I could look at it and tell it was sub sub par... couldn't they see that? They have side sauces that are marginal to cover up this dry meat! Close your doors, until you get it right! No sauce in the world can correct overcooked day old meat! read more

Can't complain! Food was great and very inexpensive. Fast, tasty, cheap... My kinda food! read more

We stopped in today for a quick lunch and we had a great experience. The burnt end brisket sandwich with spicy aioli sauce was to die for! The creamy coleslaw had a touch of horseradish in it I think; really good as well. Would recommend! read more

A well tasting ribs, even after reheated, only downside is that I didn't order enough, and now I'm out of ribs.

Had one of the players. Ribs were very good and that is why they got the extra star. Everything else was pretty disappointing. The brisket, pulled chicken and burnt ends were extremely dry. Very disappointing, especially after I started with the ribs. Again, the ribs are worth the trip. read more

Q-BBQ - Tasty bbq ! - Barbeque Near Me - Naperville, Illinois

Stumbled upon this place while on my way to the library study. Since I am missing Houston's Livestock show & rodeo, I was in need of some good BBQ. And this place has it! I was greeted by a genuinely nice server who took my order. Promptly got my order as soon as I sat at my table. I got the pulled pork sandwich with a side of fries. The pork was tender and not overwhelmed with sauce. The fries were a bit soft, but they tasted great! Overall, it was a fast experience, for being lunch time on a weekday. I will definitely come back to Q-BBQ! read more

It's not southern bbq but all in all not a bad experience. A good positive was the staff were friendly the place was clean and fairly well organized for being busy . The food was just good it wasn't great the feeling was more commissary mass-produced rather than actual smoked or barbecue. read more

Best bbq we've found in the Chicago area. The sauces are delicious, we mix the spicy and sweet. The combo platters are more than enough for our family of 3 to share. Delish cole slaw, hush puppies, fries and Mac and cheese covered in cheez-its. I love the burnt ends - they are out of this world, be careful with the burnt ends sandwich, sometimes I get all fatty pieces under that bun. All you can eat delicious pickles. They are having a special right now, papa q platte for 19.99, w will be able to eat 2-4 meals from it! read more

This is my new favorite BBQ! I had the pulled pork and Mac-n-cheese. The Carolina sweet sauce it great! The Mac n cheese was pretty cheesy and could have been better if it was baked. This is a great location with parking nearby. Coming in you get the feel of being in Carolina, and the smoker aroma hits you. Mmmm. We'll be back for sure. read more

Had a great meal here with the family last month. The service was good and the food was great. The BBQ sauces were pretty good and had a nice flavor to them. The BBQ is a bit more on the salty side but not overly salty. We do plan on returning. read more

Great food! Great service. Had pulled pork sandwich, great mac and cheese. Great brisket. Definitely recommend the sweet sauce. Will be coming back for sure read more

Would not recommend for ribs. We ordered a full rack of ribs, fries, cornbread and came with 2 hush puppies. The ribs are too well done. Much of the meat is tough and pokes your mouth. I also came across bits of bone or cartilidge that I needed to keep spitting out, not something I've had before when eating ribs. The sauce is very sweet if that's your thing. The sides (fries, cornbread, and hush puppies) were much better, flavorful and decent sized portions. Service was good. It's a fast casual place so you order at the front and they bring food to your table. Then they help bus as you progress through your meal. read more

Coleslaw is not good & MacNCheese lacked soul, very flavorless. Pork brisket is better than the sides and hush puppies are good. I would not recommend. read more

The food is amazing here. I had the pulled pork sandwich with mac and cheese. Their bbq sauces are fantastic and the pork was tender. Friendly service, clean and unique place. I can't wait to try the bbq ribs next time. read more

Little smoke, little flavor, high prices. Not bad by any means, but not worth a stop if you've ever had or smoked good bbq before. Many better options in Chicagoland and elsewhere. The sides were also very mediocre. Iceberg lettuce and tasteless tomatoes in the tiny side salad, crushed cheeze-its in the boring mac-n-cheese, and only 2 tiny hush puppies with each sandwich left a lot to be desired. Service was okay if a little indifferent... just like the food. I won't be back. read more

My favorite BBQ in The Chicagoland hands down. Food: A Service: A Atmosphere: A Location: A+ I was turned on to this restaurant by a friend and they didn't disappoint. We'll make the stop most every time we head to Naperville. I have been there several times and the experience and food quality is always the same. Only request would be some additional sauces. read more

Excellent BBQ, you won't be disappointed!!! I eat a lot of different BBQ all over the world, this is in my top 5 read more

I highly recommend this location. The food was delicious, and I love how most of what you needed was at the table itself (napkins and sauces). I got the brisket burnt ends sandwich with spicy aioli and my friend got the mix-n-match sliders, with pulled pork, brisket, and chicken. We both agreed to just get the mixed platter of meats next time Bc who needs buns anyways?! The meat really was the focus of our meals, and both of us were very satisfied with portion amounts, quality, and taste. And if you think aioli doesn't go with burnt end brisket, it totally tasted amazing (which surprised me). Overall, even though I wished this location was a little cleaner, I totally would recommend it to others and I also plan to return. read more

The brisket is very good and reasonably priced. I don't plan on coming back (after a few visits) because the sides are ridiculously priced. Just paid $4.49 for the smallest side salad I've ever seen. Also, $2.99 for a normal-sized cole slaw, not as badly priced as the salad. Now the point is I can afford it, just feels like a rip-off. So, bye-bye Q-BBQ. read more

Not as good as the Lagrange location. However still very good barbecue. Very disappointing I ordered a pound of pulled chicken and got home to find it was pork. Too bad. read more

i specifically asked the clerk to wrap the meats w/double foil because I drove a long way and wanted to keep them somewhat moist/warm. She assured me she did! When I returned home, I realized there was no extra foil wrapping, so I called the manager who merely said, "Well, next time maybe we'll give you a free side." Ugh. I'm so done with this place. (She suggested I call the General Manager tomorrow.) Why bother? read more

First time visitors at this restaurant. My husband and I came to Q's for lunch. I was surprised when I walked in at the large space. The restaurant is on a corner in Naperville and there are plenty of seats along the window to watch the passersby. Customers step up to a counter to order food and drink. In turn, they get a number which gets displayed at their table and servers deliver the food. There's all types of barbecue including beef brisket, pulled pork and chicken, sliced turkey and brisket burnt ends; salads and sides like hush puppies, mac-Q-roni, fries, cole slaw, etc. Q's also sells alcohol. Donald took our order and since it was our first visit, he took the time to explain everything to me. Donald was thorough in his explanation and very friendly. My husband went with the beef brisket sandwich with a side of baked beans, and I had the 3 sliders choosing pulled chicken, sliced turkey and brisket burnt ends with a side of coleslaw. My husband and I both had the unsweetened tea that was being freshly brewed. There are three types of sauces at the table and a roll of paper towels as things can get messy. Brie delivered our lunch with a smile. My husband enjoyed his beef brisket sandwich with beans. Unfortunately, my order wasn't delivered as I requested. They neglected to give me the sliced turkey slider. I went back to the counter and told Donald and he immediately said that they would correct that and bring me out the sliced turkey slider. Brie came back to the table with a full-size sliced turkey sandwich to make up for the mistake. Now that's great customer service. Brie was so friendly and sweet. The coleslaw that I chose for the side was very bland. I had my husband taste it and asked his thoughts, and he said it was tasteless. Very disappointing as I love coleslaw. Also, the slaw was dry and not creamy as well. The buns they use, however, are good. Because of the great customer service and the delicious barbecue sauce, I will be back. I'll pass on the cold slaw, though. read more
