I came here today to see what kind of a selection they had for animals in general. They have something for many types of animals: chicks, chickens, rabbits, horses, Guinea pigs, dogs, birds and more. I purchased some bunny food today and the price was very reasonable. All of the employees were super friendly, including the resident cat (who loves to be pet). I recommend stopping by and checking them out. read more

Thought I try and buy baby chicks from a new place... they all had coccidiosis and I'm not sure if they were being treated for it. I diagnosed mine a day after and started treatment as soon as possible but she did not make it. It took a lot if time and care to treat her and see her get better and then bad again ): heartbreaking read more

Service was fine and the frozen food was okay. If you're in a pinch, it works. That said, the food had a lot of ice crystals, which can be a sign it's been thawed and refrozen. The color also looked a bit dull compared to what I expected. read more

Been coming here for the past 3 years and everyone here is amazing. You can tell that the employees love working there and care about the people and animals. I love that they have vet services come in monthly, makes it very easy to get the help I need. Athena always remembers me and makes me feel like a VIP. She is so understanding and sweet. read more

Good selection of chicken feeds, friendly service, feed reasonably priced. Lots of items and feed for all kinds of animals.

Very pleasant experience here. Had to buy a big bag of feed with my two babies, and the woman checking me out was extremely kind and warm. A gentleman who worked there carried the feed out to my car for me, put our cart away and held the door for us. So kind! We have been buying our chicken feed here for a long time and it is fabulous quality at a reasonable price. Highly recommend coming here. read more

Great feed store. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Unlike almost all other feed stores we deal with, the main store is always clean and well-maintained. The "back" is a bit more chaotic then I would like but, I don't ever go back there other than having them load volume purchases. They have a great variety of items. Now, if only they carried EquiPride.. read more

Athena is sweetest lady. I overheard an interaction between her and an employee and I can just tell that this store's employs good people. I hear it's family owned and operated and you can tell. The prices here are more than fair and they have a great selection on all the pet supplies stuff you need. Definitely recommend this feed store to the community. read more

they only care about money. wouldn't let me get the free bag of food (AFTER BUYING 12 BAGS) my cats prefer and made me get the cheaper bag that they don't like anymore! the lady wasn't helpful when i was asking why i couldn't get my FREE normal bag of food, said it was "too expensive and i needed a cheaper bag" seems this family owned business only cares about money unfortunately. read more

Family owned. I support companies like this. Great people. Been getting my dog food since they opened.

Good selection and prices, helpful staff. They have chicks when it's safe to ship them. My go to for chicken food. read more

Very helpful. Close to my house so a great thing since I am now a backyard chicken farmer. They had dozens and dozens of yellow chicks (?) and gobs of bard rock chicks too. Neat little slice of old Mesa. I'll be back! read more

Premier Feed & Pet - My little flock. - Pet Stores Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

So so so happy this place has opened up because this place is my life saver. Having an exotic pet (anything livestock) is difficult sometimes because unless you live on the border of the country then its hard to find the supplies you need. I have 2 pet pigs so this place is my one stop shop. From the terramiga pine shavings for their litter to the mazuri pig food, which I can't find almost anywhere anymore, this store has it all! Plus it's always nice and busy. The staff are all extremely friendly and they always help me load my car for all the heavy bags I bring home. They have fair prices on the products and I couldn't be happier that this place exists! Thank you so much from our family to yours! We will be back soon for more supplies, that's for sure. read more

They are very helpful and knowledgeable at this place. They went above & beyond to help me help my pet. These guys rock!!

My absolute favorite feed store. They carry TC senior gold which is hard to find. Always helpful and a positive vibe in the store.

I came here to buy some hoof supplement and walked into some kooky conspiracy rant by the old woman (not lady) behind the counter. This is when I discovered my expensive hoof supplement...is much cheaper on Amazon. Adios. read more

Friendly staff, great selection, clean store, and they deliver!! What's not to love?! I love shopping at Premier Feed and Pet. My kids love seeing the chicks and the bunnies. The staff is knowledgeable. Best of all, I can purchase my dog food and use their loyalty program for free bags. read more

Helpful nice staff and their prices are reasonable. I'm glad they're there! I bought new chickens.

Not impressed with the service here. Came in to buy some dog treats and check out the dog food selection. I asked a guy at the counter a question about the treats and he didn't seem interested in helping me get the answers I need. Too busy on his phone. I left promptly as my patronage wasn't valued. First and last time in the store. read more

Great little shop for all your pet supply needs. Friendly and helpful service and patient with our questions. We bought horse pellets and wild bird seed super fair prices. read more

Great staff and very reasonable prices. I've been to a few feed stores in the area and the team at Premier are second to none, very knowledgeable and patient. I won't be going elsewhere moving forward. read more

Employees were all masked and they had bottles of sanitizer easily accessible. I called ahead to make sure they were open and had my items. The employee who answered was friendly. Then, when I arrived I was able to quickly grab what I needed with no wait. I was rung up by a pleasant employee and was on my way in under 5 minutes. I was surprised that they had items for small pets (guinea pigs) and not just livestock/large pets. I will definitely go back. read more

Don't let the size of this place fool you, they definitely fit a lot more stuff in their store then you think possible. The employees are always willing to help right when you walk in the door. They're one of two places that carry the dog food I need without paying an arm and a leg! read more

Premier in all ways possible! Great products, exceptional customer service. I would highly recommend this place. They will also deliver larger items to your home. So awesome. read more

I absolutely love this place! Spotlessly clean, friendly knowledgeable staff and always stocked with my favorite feed! Great prices too!

This place is awesome. The staff is well-educated on the products that they carry, and are very happy to help you. My wife and I moved here 3 months ago from California they have a lot of pet boutiques that carry quality pet food, a lot of pet stores around here don't carry Quality Foods, if you're looking for a quality food that you can't find anywhere else this is the place to go if they don't have it they will look into finding it for you. I highly recommend this place read more

I went into Premier Feed and Pet for the first time today and it did not disappoint! Dana obviously knew her stuff and helped me out with my new puppy needs! She recommended a great alternative to rawhide bones and my puppy is absolutely crazy about them!!This is my new go to! Excellent service and excellent selection! read more

The tall guy at the desk needs some customer service training and if he was the "new" owner shame on him for not putting in-store customers before people on the phone. His sarcasm and lack of tact to speak and attend customers will make me not go back. I will drive the extra mile to go to mesa feed on broadway and mesa dr. read more

Great place to purchase your fur baby's needs. Store clerks are pretty knowledgeable about their products and are always very helpful.

I've been to this store about 5+ times now so I felt they deserved a good review! This store is super clean, always stocked, and the employees are very knowledgeable. My dog has been having some food allergies and the employees recommended a food that my dog loves and is doing well on. I love supporting small businesses and so I will continue to shop here from now on for all my pet's needs! The food I got was Canidae Pure Sea which is grain free and made with salmon in case anybody is interested :) read more

This is hands down the BEST pet food and supplies place in town. If they don't have it, they will get it. They are super helpful on every question I had from which dog food to get for my fat black lab, to taking care of my goats and chickens. The new management has really cleaned up the place and its alot more organized and easier to find what I am looking for. Thank you guys again. read more

This is my favorite feed store, and ever since they reopened under new management it has been better than ever! The store is clean, organized, and has a great selection. Not to mention there is always someone available to help you who is knowledgeable and friendly. I buy food, toys, and bedding here for my ferrets but they also have a wide variety of supplies for farm animals, dogs, cats, etc. The price is also significantly lower than bigger chains or even other small feed stores I have been to. read more

The customer service was amazing! I was looking for new treats for my dog and the help me find the perfect one. As well they loved my dog

The absolute worst service I have ever had. The staff was terribly rude. My money will be best spent elsewhere.

Manager fixed the cap issue. Chickens have water. Life is good the world is restored.

Caution: These people may sell you an expensive bag of bugs!!! My boyfriend and I bought a bag of mazuri chinchilla food here but when we opened it at home we discovered that it was filled with hundreds and hundreds of tiny bugs that had eaten holes in the pellets. Yelp will not let me share the video of them crawling around the bag but as you might imagine it was pretty nasty. My boyfriend and I were appalled so he double bagged it in some trash bags and immediately drove it back to the pet store. While unloading, the bag ripped setting hundreds of bugs loose in my boyfriend's car. He tossed it in an extra bin he had in the trunk and took it inside only for the cashier, Sophia, who had rung us out just moments before to tell him that she didn't remember him and couldn't give him a refund without a receipt (which he conveniently lost). He shows her his bank statement showing a payment to premier feed and pet at which she begins screaming at the top of her lungs at him. Yelling at him that "WE CANNOT TAKE THAT BACK! THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO FOR YOU!" My boyfriend quickly realized that her emotions were out of control so he asked for a manager who was calmer but would still not give a refund. Be careful shopping here! Tractor Supply might be a bit further but they are a reliable company that sells everything Premier Pet sells and for a cheaper price plus better customer service! read more

Best hay I've been able to find in the entire city................Hurrah!

They are all very nice and have the items I need at reasonable prices. I always feel welcomed every time I go here. I know if they didn't have what I want they are willing to order it for me. They will deliver depending on the purchase amount and it will have a delivery charge. Not outrageous amount though. I think this place is so worth checking out. read more
