I was very happy to find this shop. I needed some vaccines for my dogs and they had what I needed. Very quick service!

From start to finish, the entire experience was thoughtful, transparent, and genuinely caring. Our puppy is beyond precious--healthy, happy, and already such a beloved part of our family. You can tell he was raised with care, and that Animal Kingdom truly prioritizes the well-being of their animals. A huge, heartfelt thank-you to Danica, who made this experience truly exceptional. Danica is one of those rare people who clearly loves what she does. She walked us through every single detail, answered all of our questions thoroughly, and made sure we fully understood exactly what we were signing up for--no rushing, no pressure, just honesty and care. She made us feel confident, supported, and excited every step of the way. Buying a puppy is a big decision, and Danica made the entire process feel smooth, personal, and reassuring. We never felt like "just another customer." Instead, it felt like we were being guided by someone who genuinely wanted the best outcome for both us and the puppy. If you're considering getting a puppy and want an experience that is professional, transparent, and full of heart, Animal Kingdom at Arizona Mills Mall is the place to go--and if you can work with Danica, consider yourself incredibly lucky. We will forever be grateful for this experience and for our perfect little golden boy.

They don't have everything of course as it's not a specialist store. Obviously a dedicated reptile shop may serve your reptile needs better, but Petsmart is a great generalist store with some of everything. We go often for our doggie needs as well as for our freshwater aquarium and reptile needs. My Pug has gone thru their dog training and it was a decent program. The trainer was very professional and dedicated to the craft and put up with the crazy antics of our pug. Ive never had any issues with the dog grooming and everytime my other dog gets serviced, she looks like a million bucks. FYI their return policy is 60 days. Overall, PetsMart is a very vital part of the community and I'm glad it exists.

First day, Ayla (the trainer) was a no-show. We were not notified that she needed to cancel class. The next week, she was late coming back from lunch and tried to get us to come to a different day rather than the class we signed up for. She then dismissed us after about 30 minutes of training. This week, she's a no-show yet again and we were told by the cashier that she was at lunch and intended on cancelling today's class. We were of course not notified of the cancelation. Very frustrating and wasteful of our time since we rush home from work to make it to this location for the 5pm class that's offered at the store. We have asked for a refund on the classes we purchased.

My fiancé had a ranch about 20 years ago and used to go to Pratt's all the time to buy animals for his ranch and sell his babies to Pratt's. There was a good old time family vibe then. They educated people about the animals they purchased and were very helpful. Now, my fiancé and I have a ranch together and we were starting from scratch. We went to Pratt's to get the same camaraderie and care that he had from Pratt's in the past. But we had found out the hard way that it is absolutely nothing like it used to be! Their animals are always sick and stressed and in bad living conditions. All of the chickens we have purchased from there were sick with a very contagious virus. They have respiratory distress and very lethargic and their eyes swell up and fill with puss. We gave them antibiotics but that did not help them. Every single chicken we bought from there had died. And the worst part is it spreads to the rest of our flock. Once the flock is infected you cannot get rid of it. U literally have to start fresh with healthy chickens. My fiancé had told Oscar the manager about this issue. At first he was understanding and willing to replace the chickens. Once we sent him pictures of the birds that perished he changed his tone and said "Why are you the only ones with birds dying?" We have stopped buying chickens from there but have continued to buy feed from there. We can't help but to go and look at all the animals and unfortunately they are always in poor living conditions and clearly very sick and even dead birds in the cages. The staff they have there at this point are very unhelpful and uneducated about the product they sell and uneducated about the animals they sell! We ask them a question about an animal and they look at us like we have a third eye growing out of our heads! They walk away without answering our questions or even getting our feed for us. We are out so much money from what we have bought from there and all the loss we have had from the sick chickens infecting the rest of our flock and they died. We had bought a female goat that was supposedly pregnant and they just wanted to get rid of her before she gave birth... well she wasn't pregnant. Then We had bought another female goat from them against our better judgment because she looked miserable and we wanted a companion for our first goat but She was "Not for sale" due to being sick... We said we want her to give her a fighting chance. She coughs and sneezes and has discharge from her lady parts. Pratt's just does not care about the health and well being of their animals! We will never purchase any animals from them again!! It's such a shame that these animals have to suffer!!

The vet educated me about how her diet needed to be changed to foods low in phosphorus, high in protein & sent me home w/ the standard Renal Diet starter kit by Royal Canin. As a human who sees a Naturopathic Doc AND a regular Doc, I was curious what a local natural pet food store would suggest. I called and had the good fortune that Martha picked up the phone! When this woman heard about my cat's diagnosis, she launched into a mini tutorial about Feline Chronic Kidney Disease. She must've spent 20 minutes on the phone with me, obviously passionate and knowledgeable about animals. She told me she had created a "cheat sheet" of sorts that I could get a copy of: it lists all the brands of food from the lowest phosphorus content to the highest. Knowing more about this my cats illness eased my worries. Once I got to NB, I learned they carried, Daves & Weruva's, both good for Renal Diets. Then I learned that Martha is one of the owners and was so touched at how much time she spent with me on the phone. So kind! She's the real deal about caring about your pets/fur babies. NB gave me a copy of the Cheat Sheet that lists/compared most all the Feline Chronic Kidney Disease wet food. Thank y'all so much for the guidance! P.S. They have an abundance of fun toys, beds, water fountains, treats, etc. for cats & dogs!

They do have a nice variety of food options (found a couple goodies my little hunter will absolutely demolish), but the toy selection was kinda meh. Lots of catnip stuff... which is great if your cat is into that, but mine prefers to straight-up destroy anything already, can't imagine her on the nip just yet. I was hoping for more durable, non-catnip, "won't be shredded in 4 minutes" options. Found a couple things that might survive her wrath, with a few removal of smaller pieces, so we'll see. Overall, good spot, friendly enough, worth popping into if you're nearby, but not quite the specialty treasure trove I had in mind. I'll be back... just not, like, weekly.
