Here is our experience with PRC: On midday Friday, we called them in to check a potential internal water leak. They checked things out for about half an hour, and told us we had moisture in the walls of our bathroom. We began to discuss potential remediation, but we needed to check with our insurance adjuster first to see what they would cover. PRC left a dehumidifier in the bathroom. On Saturday, our insurance adjuster came with a moisture detector, detected no moisture at all, and said they would refuse the claim. He also said PRC is well known for creating bogus and/or inflated remediation bills. We contacted another remediation company, who came and checked for moisture, found none, and didn't charge us at all. Both agents told us there had clearly been no moisture in those walls for years -- the dehumidifier wasn't doing anything. We called PRC the same day to pick up the dehumidifier. They said they couldn't pick it up until Monday. On Monday, they picked it up. A month later, PRC sent us a bill for $900. Huh? For a half-hour service call in which they incorrectly diagnosed the problem (or possibly lied about it) and no actual remediation work at all? They said the price was based on an emergency Friday call (remember, it was midday) and three days rental of the dehumidifier. We are disputing the bill, and if we are able to resolve this, I will definitely edit this review and report the resolution. Edited to add: PRC offered to take about $400 off our bill, leaving us with a bill over $500. They said the offer was contingent on us paying within five days, and they admitted no fault. At this point, three months later, we were sick of fighting it, so we paid the bill. We still believe $500 is unreasonable for a brief service call in which the problem was incorrectly diagnosed. PRC is great. I had a positive experience working with them. I live in a condo in which I own the first floor unit, and another owner owns the upstairs. I had water damage leak in my kitchen ceiling caused by the dishwasher from the property upstairs. Alfonso and his team were sent to perform the emergency service. I was not sure how to proceed with the damage and dealing with my insurance, but Alfonso guided me through the process. During the ceiling teardown, mold was found which was a major concern for me since my property was being rented out to a tenant who had allergies and high sensitivity to mold. Alfonso did a good job with the mold remediation and provided the necessary equipment to contain it. The emergency service and mold remediation was a job well done that even the upstairs owner's insurance adjustor as well as my mold hygienist commented on the great work and asked which company I went with. The post mold test passed on the first try. Overall, Alfonso was very honest and professional, communicating across the work details so I did not have a concern. The restoration process was done by a different department, Tomas and his team, who also did a great job restoring the kitchen ceiling & paint back to its original condition. PRC staff (Marci, Maria, Emily) who I talked to on the phone, was very helpful and professional in helping with scheduling and billing. This wasn't the first time PRC saved our bacon. We had a problem with a broken pipe under our building and they came and bailed it out (for half the price of two other estimates I got) and they checked out the building to make sure there wasn't further damage from standing water. Luckily there wasn't. Then we had a huge problem with a broken pike that saturated two units, one upper and the lower unit. Not only were they able to deal with mold inspections and removal of the water, but they also dealt with the reconstruction of two kitchens. Alberto oversaw the whole job, making sure that everything was done right. He coordinated with both sets of tenants and kept me informed the whole way through. Luckily the insurance company covered about 3/4 of the job, and the rest was incurred by the property owner. And what were we left with? Two beautiful kitchen, great cabinets, brand new sinks, new garbage disposals, and beautiful painted walls. For a 70 year old building, this was well needed work. The office staff was terrific and worked with us as we waited for insurance payments. Do I recommend PRC? Why wouldn't I? Fantastic people who knew what they were doing every step of the way and left us much better than before the problem that destroyed two kitchens. OMG, PRC, you're TG2BT! read more

I had a good experience with PRC. They showed up immediately, took out the water damaged material and started the drying process. By the time the vendor recommended by State Farm returned my call, PRC had almost completed their initial work. PRC worked with my insurance company and they were very, very patient while State Farm dragged their feet. The final restoration work done by PRC was done very quickly, professionally, and the finished product looks great. There was an incident where I noticed that one of the big trucks backed into the front of my house damaging the rain gutter. I called my plumber first, as he had the biggest truck and in my memory was parked very close to my house, but he immediately got defensive and acted so unprofessionally I will never have him back to my house again. I contacted PRC and they offered to inspect their trucks that they had out to my house, and after finding no damage to their trucks still offered to send someone out to fix the gutter. So, I am very happy with PRC and I found everyone there to be very professional and easy to work with. Priscilla, Ricardo, Oscar, and everyone there has my recommendation and I will definitely call them water damage and restoration should I ever be so unlucky to come home to a flooded house again. read more

I had my kitchen and master bathroom sink flood my condo due to a plumbing clean out that went wrong. Major flooding over carpet, bathroom vanity, below the kitchen sink. It was really bad. It smelled bad, it looked bad. The plumber called PRC and Carlos Valadez came out immediately with his crew. I noticed they put on shoe coverings and were dressed in clean uniforms. They assessed the situation and immediately started the repair process. They cut away drywall, removed carpet/padding, removed all wet cabinets. They ran dryers day and night until the areas were dry and free from any mold possibilities. They did a good job. Then Ricardo Casas came with his crew from PRC. He was in charge of restoration. He really fought for me to get the place back in perfect shape. PRC replaced all wet cabinets with new materials. New carpet. The dry wall was textured and I feared it would be hard to match, but it was matched perfectly. I am so impressed. i can't tell there was a flood and I know there is no mold in my condo. I have to also thank Partners Plumbing for their efforts to have my condo repaired. It is so nice to know that there are reparable contractors like PRC and Partners Plumbing doing business in my area. I highly recommend their services. read more

!! Total fraud !! I called an independent plumber to inspect a water leak under the kitchen sink, the plumber stated that he will have its associates contact us while he prepares his bill.Someone from Perez called me minutes later saying that they were referred by their associate the independent plumber, and that she has sent a representative over to the residence. Perez construction agent by the name of Alberto a Perez or PRC project manager, arrived a couple of minutes later and offhandedly puffed, assured and boosted of its/company expertise in getting clients new kitchen cabinets and brand new floors tiles. Also, that they have done a lot of work around the neighborhood. Perez agent gave explicate guarantees that he can unequivocally get the house a new kitchen cabinets and tiles all I have to do is sign sign sign the work order, that they are expects in working with the insurance company and know how to get them to pay. he promises that the insurance will take care of it to get you to sign the paper work. Currently in a legal dispute this fraudsters , over bill for services it never performed, under deliver in service if any. My house had hot water damages and I called PRC Restoration. The clean up and demo team of Frank Perera quickly responded to my call and immediately worked on the mold remediation and clean up. They did an outstanding job and Frank even went out of his way to help coordinate with my insurance company and likewise with the discovered asbestos removal. Frank was always very helpful, patient and understanding. He always quickly responded to my follow-ups and questions. The team of Rafael Garcia also did a very excellent job in preparing and securing our house contents for required storage to facilitate the demo and repairs to our house. None the less, I would like to commend the team of Alberto Oliva and Rafael Maldonado who took over all the required repair work. Alberto and Rafael were both very professional, very responsive and helpful. I salute their outstanding coordinating and managing efforts which led to successful delivery of their promised completion schedule. I am super happy and satisfied for the exceptional work they did in my house, especially the bathroom, which turned out to be very beautiful, with the meticulous and professional work done by Armando Del Rio. When I first contacted PRC, I have to say that I was frustrated with one of their team members, that was supposed to assist me with water damage to my property. Equipment was not used properly and my tenant advised that equipment was left on the property for a number of days (unused), which possibly caused additional damages and financial expenses. I contacted PRC and explained how frustrated and unhappy I was with the service I had been receiving. PRC was very professional and responsive to my complaints and concerns. PRC quickly sent out a new crew, to properly and throughly, dry and clean the affected area. PRC ensured me that fees would be waived for the days that the equipment was not properly used and left to sit at the property. PRC also did the construction to restore the damages to my property. I was happy with the work and the job was completed within good time. Although, business with PRC did not start on a positive note, moving forward, PRC thoughtfully addressed my concerns and provided me with excellent and professional customer service. It is good to know that PRC will listen to their clients and will make every effort to resolve any issue to keep their clients happy and satisfied. read more

I highly recommend PRC in dealing with all aspects of water damage , mold and restoration issues. I had a water pipe burst in my upstairs bathroom that damaged my downstairs bathrom, washroon, entry area and hall. First we dealt with Oscar Rivera who assised us with the water damage and mold issues. Oscar coordinated the drying out process , the mold abaitment and removal of all damaged items including most floor tiles, cabinets and plumbing. He also assisted us in dealing with our Insurance company. Oscar was very helpful. Next was Carlos Sanchez and Gustavo Lopez. They coordinated the reconstruction phase. They kept the project on schedule and worked with us on all aspect of the new construction. They brought the best construction guys to the job and ensured it stayed on schedule. Next was the actual construction team. Sergio Roman and Victor Roman were excellent. They assisted us in all aspects of the construction..tile layout, paint colors, cabinet construction, plumbing, etc.etc. They were very professional ..knew exactly what to do and how to do it. We had a leak from our water heater into our home affecting laundry room, a closet, a bedroom and the hallway! We were referred to PRC by the plumber who changed the water heater. After I read the reviews, My husband and I were very hesitant to go with PRC but the plumber reassured us that if we go with Sergio, he will take care of us. So we did and it was a great experience with as little stress as possible (anybody who has had these type of experience knows that there is stress involved when your home is damaged). Sergio made sure the process went as smoothly as possible and was very professional! The person who was in charge of restoration was Emanuel and he was very service oriented and made sure that we were happy with whatever was done and would ask us exactly what we wanted and he made sure that the restoration got done the way we wanted it! He was very professional and polite! It is refreshing to see that there are still people who are service oriented and they understand that customer service is an important part of any job. Right as the Covid-19 pandemic was taking hold and about to keep us all locked up at home, my roof decided to break open and allow a deluge of rain water into my bedroom, closet and office. PRC showed up in the middle of the night and began mitigating the water damage immediately. For two months, every day, the crew showed up on time, wearing masks, truly helping me pick up the pieces (even as the pandemic was gaining traction) and I could not be more grateful for their dedication and hard work. Rafa and the pack-out, pack-in crew worked fast while also taking great care of my belongings. Jose Domingo (electrician) was gracious and kind in explaining my options and Alberto (foreman on the interior build back) was always willing to take my calls. Plus the builders and painters worked miracles, my place looks better than it did before. The last thing I would say is make sure you have great insurance. I was referred to PRC by our regular plumber after we had a sewage flood due to a blockage in the main pipe lines. It had flooded out parts of the ground floor through the ceiling below and into the basement. We have had PRC out twice in the last month for this same problem which recurred again. They arrive quickly and once they are done you know the job has been done correctly. In these two instances we have had multiple different PRC crews out sanitizing, setting up equipment, checking moisture levels, and checking on their machines. Most have been nice and helpful, but specifically we have had Sergio Mena and Ricardo Silencio out a couple of times now. I was extremely impressed by the courteous, respectful, professional, expert way they go about doing their jobs. They kept me informed of the whole process every step of the way taking the time out to explain to me what they were doing and why. If we ever need to call PRC out again I will definitely be asking for them by name, and recommending them to everyone I know. read more

We purchased a new home recently, and found out a big leakage in the kitchen area coming from the 2nd floor bathroom. We called a plumber to look at the issue, and he immediately referred PRC restoration to us. Upon calling, PRC rep showed up at our house within an hour, and deployed their high-tech machines to dry out the area the same day. And then they removed cabinets and other stuff from the kitchen in a super professional way. They were monitoring the air quality and moisture on a daily basis. Oscar Rivera was managing our project, and he was extremely professional in handling our project and was very patient and responsive in answering all our questions. In this tense situation that we had never handled before, PRC provided a great service and I am just glad that they were there to take care of the water damage and to restore the area back to its normal. I had some plumbing issues at home. The plumber said that the area where I had the leak could have mold. I called PRC and a manager came right away. They assessed the wall and within hours I they had removed the wall and placed some fans. The were coming every day. All the workers who came were very respectful and efficient. Then, the plumbing company came and when they finished their job, PRC came again to repair the walls and paint the kitchen. The job was very nicely done. This crew was also efficient and left everything clean every day. I did not like the job one of the workers had done and I called the person in charge and he sent the man again to repair the job. They said that they would not leave until I was satisfied. The managers always answered to all my calls and texts immediately, even if it was to tell me "I will call you back". I am very satisfied and I would call them again if I have any problem that require their expertise. Great Job! I highly recommend this company! read more

The company was excellent I called and they sent the project manager out that same day the project manager was Alejandro and he was on top of it we needed it done fast and he got started the next day with no problem and I liked that. Also the ladies I was dealing with in the office was fantastic also Ayessa, jaylene they helped and made the process smooth and easy thank you ladies . Our plumber recommended PRC the day we discovered the pipes underneath our home had deteriorated to the point we had seepage. This was on a Saturday and they responded to our call within 2 hours (unbelievable). They took care of our problem the same day allowing for our plumbing company to reroute our pipes the next day. Carlos was our Project Manager and he was extremely courteous and professional, walking us through the entire process. His crew were courteous and professional as well. They performed the work required in a timely manner and were very careful both preparing for the job and cleaning up after it was completed. I felt immediately comfortable with everyone we worked with at PRC and am extremely grateful our plumber had given us such a good company to turn to with our very serious problem. I dont even know how to begin how PRC restoration company helped my mother in law and her insurance claim that was denied since 2/15 by allstate ! ..but here it goes .... They denied the claim and I stepped in asked Emily Galan from PRC to assist us in documentation to get the claim reimbursment for my mother in law ... PRC had given my mother in law a very generous deducted price since the claim was denied and tried to help her get it approved . This month I found some clauses in my mother in laws policy and reached out to PRC since they did an amazing job under the house under a short amount of time in order for the plumber to do their repairs !.... I wish I could give 10 stars. I have been a homeowner for a year when I experienced my first leaky ceiling. I live with only my daughter and I know nothing about repairs. PRC has been absolutely wonderful. I was very worried, but they were constantly giving me peace of mind. They handled my insurance, they were very responsive to texts and calls, and they are extremely polite and professional. George, Alex and their entire crew and the office staff who are on top off all the scheduling, you all are rock stars. I love the work they have done. No traces of a repair at all. Not only did I have to deal with a ceiling repair, they had to diagnose another potential leak in the process. They answered all my questions and never make me feel like I'm a bother.
