So let me start by saying I'm demanding. The entire crew were 1. Courteous and respectful (we have a no shoes policy inside the house and they immediately complied), 2. Accommodating (we have two kids and a pet, making any project a nightmare), 3. Communicative (explained every step and process). Dealing with mold is horrific. We did not end up using FastFix Restoration but I still wanted to leave a review because we had such a positive experience. Igor was easy to communicate with and came when he said he was going to come. He reviewed our water damage and said it might be possible that we didn't have mold, and that remediation wouldn't be necessary -- but, he still gave us a quote and suggested we get a third-party mold detection to verify whether or not we had mold (and also if we had asbestos). We had a third-party vendor we'd used before, but he also recommended a few. We went with our mold detection company and they found there was no mold and no asbestos. We let Igor know, and he said that he could still do the job for us but without mold, it would be much cheaper for us to go with a handyman since he has a minimum fee due to the insurance and equipment that comes with mold remediation. I hope that we never have to deal with mold remediation again, but if we do, I'm glad we know about Igor and FastFix. read more

After a pipe burst in the middle of the night and flooded our guest bedroom and bathroom, we chose to work with FastFix Restoration to perform the water damage restoration. Since we're moving from another city, we greatly appreciated Igor managing the work locally and sending us photos throughout. When we bought our home, we didn't realize how bad the mold was until a mold inspector came. We hired FastFix to do the remediation work. Their price was fair and they could start the job quickly. They could also do the necessary drywall repairs afterwards, so their initial quote included all work. Many other remediation places will only quote you for the tear down, leaving the price open for the rebuild. Since the remediation process required us to open the walls in our closet, we decided to install hook ups for a washer and dryer. This necessitated a plumber and an electrician to come and install pipes and a new outlet. Igor found us an electrician and coordinated with him to install the outlet.
