We have a flat roof with only one drain. During the last rain storm the drain was blocked and the roof had over a foot of standing water. The standing water caused substantial damage to the roof and inside ceiling and walls. Additionally this structure is a rental unit with great tenants which we were concerned about. Tal provided me a quote and support when my house flooded due to a plumber over-tightening a pipe under my house, which burst in the middle of the night. There were 2-3 inches of water sitting in my house for around 5 hours. Tal was quick to call me once I submitted a request for a quote, and was able to meet me in person soon after. I was happy and felt more confident to be meeting directly with Tal, the owner, and not just a technician (like so many companies send out to give quotes). I was a bit stressed from the flood and he calmed my nerves by walking me through my options, including the processes with or without insurance. My situation was unique as the plumber at fault would be paying for the damage. Tal walked me through the water vs mold remediation processes, which was helpful when getting additional quotes. Tal was the first person I spoke to when we found out we had water damage and mold from windows that were allowing water into the back wall of our house. Before I reached out to any contractor, I had a third party do environmental testing and we found black mold and lots of other "non toxic" spores.
