We had this company come to do smoke remediation after the Eaton fire. They were very kind and thorough through the initial visit but things went a bit array after. They didn't provide a clear order of services and multiple people seemed to be coordinating the clean up but all insufficiently. We had to repeated call the office to get updates and know when people were coming into the house. The cleaning crew did a good job on the attic insulation and vent cleaning. But we had to call the powers washers back because they missed a few spots outside. They had the main interior cleaners come before all the other work was done so we had to ask them to reclean the house (we found a lot of dirt and footprints in the house). There was mismanagement of the workers by the company. Our main agent couldn't make it and the replacement they sent to pick up our check straight up lied and ghosted us. All in all, the job was complete and they were open to redoing work when it wasn't done. So we appreciated that. read more

I hired Dependable Water Damage Restoration for water damage from a leak above our kitchen. There were visible signs of mold. John scheduled a visit to inspect the damage, provided a reasonable quote and made it right. I was pleased with their professionalism and cleanliness in water damage remediation and restoration at our house. The entire process took about one week from signing the contract to completion of the project. Their office staff and construction crew all interacted professionally with us. Their communication during every step was helpful and reliable. They arrived in a timely manner on days they scheduled work. I am happy with their services. read more

First of all, if you have any plumbing issues and are not a plumber do not attempt to fix it yourself no matter how insignificant it may seem. Fast forward....we needed to have a company fix our mistake and open our walls after water damage from an upstairs shower. After a few calls I felt most comfortable with Dependable Water Damage Restoration. They were so professional and friendly. They showed up within a few hours with fans. They provided the drying, opening of the walls, drywall repair and painting. Let me tell you, you cannot tell we had an issue!!! Our ceiling is perfectly matched, the paint and texture!! We had two walls in our kitchen/family room affected as well as a wall in our daughter's bedroom. That was 4 different colors of paint in 4 different rooms and all are back to normal. Unfortunately we are not inexperienced with water damage and I cannot praise the team enough. read more

Dependable Water Damage was Fantastic all around. We had mold growing in our trunk and seats of one of cars from a rolled up wet carpet (long story). It smelled absolutely gag-inducing horrible, the spores were sprouting in visible patches in the trunk and seats, and we wondered if the car was a loss. Dependable came in handled it all, in a really efficient and impressive way. It was a 3-4 day process of removing the wet carpet, remediating the mold, running a multitude of air scrubbers and filtering processes, detailing the car, more air scrubbers, etc. The scheduling was very efficient and responsive (Sergio, John and Stephanie) with constant updates on timeframes and steps accomplished or pending. The techs were great (Alfonso, Armando, and team) as were the detailers (Diana and Tony). The car now looks (and smells) new. The process was excellent. Our experience couldn't have been better. Dependable. Awesome. read more

Dependable Restoration provided amazing service in a very difficult situation from the insurance company. I called them when I noticed pieces falling off my ceiling in the garage. They helped identify the problem, coordinate everything, getting a plumber to identify and fix the leak, asbestos testing, and working with the insurance company for payment. Unfortunately, the insurance company gave the go ahead to start work, and then backtracked and denied the claim after work had already started. Thousands of dollars of work had already been done, but Dependable Restoration took full responsibility for the mix up and did not charge me for any of the work done, other than the insurance deductible which was our original payment agreement anyway. They made sure the project was resolved in a safe state, and covered the cost of the asbestos testing themselves (which was over $1000). I really appreciate them taking full responsibility for the miscommunication with the insurance company and resulting costs. Throughout all this, they were very friendly and understanding. read more

Loved that John came for the water damage restoration service same day when I called him for urgent help! He is truly honest and expert person! When he was starting his service, he explained everything professionally and made us feel comfortable for his service. After drying the wet areas with dehumidifiers for several days, John checked the moisture levels and fogged disinfection to make sure everything is clean and safe! Furthermore after the moisture level checking, the areas were needed to be dried out more days than we initially thought and he did the additional service without charging extra! It was a big help during COVID-19 pandemic! We really appreciated for his kind consideration and wonderful service! Strongly recommend this company to anyone who need a help for water damage restoration service & etc. If you are reading this review now, you found the right company for you! Our washing machine malfunction and leaked water down into the bedroom. John was fantastic from the start. Immediately responsive and reassuring that everything would be work out. He got fans out to our place on day 1. John and his team at Dependable took are of everything, including drying mitigation, sending out stuff to storage, repairing, repainting, getting our stuff back in, and working with our insurance. They brought in the right people to do a great job. They were incredibly professional and kind, which made the whole process, which lasted about a month, a lot less stressful than it would have been otherwise. Sergio, Alfonso, and Juan were also a pleasure to work with. Our bedroom once all was said and done looked fresh and felt brand new. A really positive experience overall. read more

Had to call these guys out twice for two separate homes and both times they were amazing!!! We had a leak and minor mold issue the first time and second was a purchase of a home with major mold issues everywhere. Alfonso goes the extra mile to ease your mind and make sure every area of concern was properly treated. Everyone worked together so well to stay on top of the project and get it done quickly. Super impressed and while I hope I never have to see them again at least I know who to call if I have water damage issues in the future Lol! Highly recommend!!! read more

John and his crew were excellent. The process of getting an estimate was easy and the estimate was clearly laid out. It was itemized so I knew exactly what I was paying for. The work was done quickly and professionally. When it was done it was like there was never a problem to begin with. I'm glad I went with Dependable, and while I hope I never have to work with them again, if anything ever came up I'd go directly to them without hesitation. read more

I had a complicated case where there were a lot of delays due to issues with my insurance company. My ceiling had massive leaks from the recent winter rains and when we opened it all up, there was mold growing too. Even though my insurance was acting slow, Dependable Restoration really lived up to their name and proceeded proactively in my best interest, quickly dealing with the mold. They always arrived when they said they would, the technicians are all really courteous and chill, and they repaired my ceiling beautifully, matching the paint color exactly. My service rep Sergio really advocated for me in order to get the job done, and I really appreciate him and all his colleagues. read more

John and his team were awesome. They did an exceptional job getting our kitchen back to working order after a leak ruined our cabinets. After having two other companies come and give us quotes, we went with Dependable Restoration since they worked with us on what we needed done instead of up charging us for everything under the sun. I can recommend them enough if you have water damage/mold. Don't bother looking elsewhere. read more

I called to ask for prices to remove a small area from the wall that has mold. I was told $200 for inspection that will go towards the work if i were to do it with them. I tried to get an idea how much the work will cost to remove a small part of the wall. The representative was getting angry and finally said, our min job is $3500. Bait and switch! dishonest company!!!! read more

I had water damage under my kitchen sink and tried calling a few contractors. Most of them came here, telling me things like my tiled countertop will fall apart when rebuilding the cabinet box under my sink and how crazy expensive it will be. John from Dependable was the only one to say that it wouldn't be an issue, and that the other people were overinflating the job. How right he was! He was great all the way through, always got back to me within 24 hours, and most of the time within an hour. His crew, led by Juan, did a great job, dealing with plumbing, electrical, painting, and floor and backsplash installation. I am overall super happy with how everything came out! Negatives: as with most contractors (I guess), they 'disappear' sometimes. Juan would say he'd be back tomorrow, but then disappear for 2 days, without even contacting me. A job that would take about a week, took 3 weeks as there were many days they didn't come. There are some minor imperfections that I pointed out during the final walk-through(3/30/2021), and was promised they would come back to amend but that hasn't happened yet. I will definitely update this review if/when that happens. UPDATE: Today (4/19/2021) the crew came back and fixed the minor issues. Everything is perfect now! I am extremely happy that I selected Dependable! read more

John and Sam saved the day at our Daycare. We came in after a weekend away to find a sewage pipe had burst into one of our play rooms. The plumber who came out from the property management recommended Dependable Restoration. From our first call I could tell that this was the right company! They responded quickly and prevented a much larger damage. They handled all our damaged items with care and even though we were not the ones paying the bill they treated out belongings and facility with care and respect. Highly recommend them! read more

John, Alfonso, and Alfredo did a fantastic job under a tight timeline. A buyer discovered moisture in my home during escrow, and they completed a good-sized remediation project across multiple walls, in an area below grade, in a matter of four days. Alfonso and Alfredo were a pleasure to work with, and helped explain the process beginning to end to soothe our anxieties about such a sensitive project. Highly recommend! read more
