Man, this review has been a LONG time coming. Thanks for your patience team! Soledad, Elan, and the entire crew, my apologies! These guys are the BEST on every level conceivable. All restoration companies are absolutely not the same. These guys do the job right, and take absolute pride in the work they do. They will not leave a job unfinished, and will bend over backwards to make everything right! They communicate well, are always on time, and are just wonderful people in general! They are also completely reasonable in pricing. Please, stop searching for other restoration companies right now, and call this crew. I promise you'll be happy you did!!! read more

I had a kitchen flood and called Water Damage Zone and Restoration. Aaron arrived fast, explained everything clearly, and the team handled the water damage cleanup and drying professionally. They worked quickly, sanitized the area, and helped prevent mold. Best part -- they billed my insurance directly, which made everything so much easier. We have used them for 25 years. We had 3 leaks with major damage. They fought our insurance and repaired everything. The last leak was over 200,000$ damage. We had to move out of our house. They rebuild our kitchen and dining room and all the flooring in 40 days. They was a miracle. They are like our family and goto person. read more

Elan did a good job explaining the fire remediation process to me. He worked well with my insurance. His guys did good work.

Water Damage Zone and Restoration is the only company I'd go to for a water emergency. The Senior Project Manager, Ilan, and Operations Manager, Angela, were extremely professional, very responsive, and straightforward with their quotes and timelines for the work done. They were considerate of our concerns, and also managed a slew of contractors for a complicated job that not only included water damage restoration but also demolition, reconstruction, and installation of a new HVAC system and tankless water heater. On another occasion, I called Ilan and Angela when our home flooded due to a clogged toilet, and they responded quickly, even late at night. They promptly brought wet vacuums, dehumidifiers, and disinfectant to dry out the hardwood floors - which undoubtedly saved us from doing more restoration work by limiting the scope of the damage. When I requested a receipt to use for a SoCal gas Rebate a half year after the water heater project concluded (I know, I'm a procrastinator) - Angela combed through their records and pulled it up for me. We really can't recommend them enough. You never want to be in a situation to need their help, but trust me - you'll be glad they're there when the s*** hits the fan. read more

Elan did an amazing job assessing the situation and letting me know what the issue was. I will definitely call him again if I have any issues. I highly recommend this company! read more

Ilan was very knowledgeable and considerate when he came and inspected our property for mold.

I rarely leave reviews but have to give a huge shoutout to Joe who saved me thousands of $$$ by being straight up and honest about the mold issue in my studio. I got 6 other quotes and all they tried to do was upsell me. It is SO hard to find folks to trust in this realm but this team stands out!! Genius. Next time I need real work done i already know exactly who i'm calling. Thanks y'all! read more

Joe was great! He was on time, kind & most importantly to me he was honest!! I thought I had a mold issue but Joe took his time and explained exactly to me what I had instead. Another company came before him and tried to sell a bunch of cleaning services to me. I really appreciate his honestly!! Definitely use him if you want a truthful inspection!!!!! read more

I originally requested virtual consultation as advertised for hvac leak for mold and replacement of 3 x 3 wood floors. They said, they are having technical issues with virtual and requested for a live inspection. The day, we have the appointment, the rep of the company called instead of coming at the appointment time to tell me their min would $1.800 for 3 x 3 wood floor without seeing and they won't be installing back the floor which was in original request. I asked for a quote regardless as I wanted to share with general contractor. Never heard back again. I can't rate their actual service but they were waste of good half day for me. read more

Needed a professional opinion on some superficial mold issues, and Joe was reliable and honest. He didn't try to sell me on anything unnecessary and just gave me his professional opinion and realistic options. read more

There isn't a much more stressful situation than to find a mold problem in your house. When it happened to us, because of a broken AC Unit that had a slow leak, we were horrified. I called and got four quotes, and while the others were nice, nobody was nicer or more honest than this company.....especially Joe. When I first made the appointment for an estimate, the lady (I forget her name) could not have been more nice and accommodating. They came as soon as possible and Joe walked me through the entire process. He told me best case and worse case situations. I appreciated the honesty. It was stressful to make a decision on who to use, because you never really know. However, I made the right choice in hiring Water Damage Zone. They went above and beyond in their work. Every single person who came to work on our house was professional and really nice. Joe is incredible. One of the most honest people I have ever come into contact with in a situation like this. They were always on time, and Joe was always available by phone to talk or text. They also didn't rip me off and try and charge me for little things or add on's at the end of the project. They followed through with exactly what they promised me, and I am so HAPPY that we went with this company for this project. If you ever have any mold issues, big or small, call immediately and get Joe and his team out to fix the job. Our stressful situation was made so much better because of their caring, thoughtful and honest approach. They make it a point to make you feel comfortable, because they know how stressful this can all be. The only negative is that much of the crew are 49ers fans.....but I guess you can't be perfect!! LOL. Go with this group of people if you have any mold issues. They are experts. They are honest. They are polite. They get the job done. Can't ask for much else! Thanks to all of you! read more

Approached this business in order to avoid having to organisers the various different elements to get a leak and collapsed ceiling repairs. Professional from the start and detailed all of the steps involved in the repairs. Happy with the final result. Thank you to all the team! read more

Elan was great. He communicates very well and is honest. We had what looks like a leak in the ceiling. He checked it out for us free of charge and recommend the best approach. I highly recommend him. read more

Joe came by on a consultation request and he was so brutally honest that I was shocked. I thought I had a mold problem due to a musty smell but he quickly told me I didn't have a mold problem and that it was really just some wood rot below my bathroom in the crawl space. He easily could have made something up and taken my money but he didn't. I think I'm pretty good at reading people and interpreting body language, and Joe definitely passes the vibe check. He seems like a great guy and I'd totally team up with him in the event of a zombie apocalypse. Well done! read more

I can't say enough about how helpful these guys were. I was freaked out and overwhelmed. Elan and his crew came in and handled everything. They are fair, reliable, efficient and thorough. read more

Very personal staff will be using water damage zone for all my needs the project manager answered all my questions took alot of time ..

Just like most homes have some evidence of termites, most homes will also have some evidence of mold. It's super common, but those less reputable will take advantage of frightened homeowners, charging thousands of dollars for a "problem" that isn't really a problem. These techs were prompt, polite, COVID respectful, and didn't hesitate to get down in my crawl space to investigate. After a hygienist lab report that looked intimidating, this company was able to give me peace of mind that we don't have an actual issue at all. To recap : crawled under my house, for free, and then told me I didn't need to spend any unnecessary money. Should I ever have a need for actual repairs, I know exactly who I will call. read more

Had work done on our house shortly after we bought it and the original contractor failed to water proof one of the exterior walls. As a result, we came home from vacation one day to find our wood floors discoloring and buckling. Alarmed, we called Water Damage Zone and Elon, the owner, came out in less than 24 hours to look over the damage and test for mold. When it came back positive he was able to send a team out quickly, finishing the work in about a week. After that, Elon worked with me to arrange for all of the repairs, which were done amazingly, leaving the house water tight and looking brand new. The only thing I would love to have had is a bit more transparency as to when the teams would need access to the house, so be sure to inquire about a schedule! Would highly recommend as Elon is extremely helpful in helping you understand the scope of what is needed and the process and the work they do is top notch. read more

I used Water Damage Zone to mitigate my home after a leak in my kitchen. Water Damage Zone mitigate the water damage and took care of the mold. Water Damage zone crew was very professional, clean and on time That was a beautiful experience, Elan, the owner, made the work smooth and finish it on time. He communicated directly with my insurance company leaving me with a headache free. It was awesome!! I will defintly recommend this company to anyone who has a need for water damage. Although I don't wish to have another water damage, I would use them again. I dealt direcrly with the owner from start to finish. No salesmen that try to sell me extra services. It was a great experience with no headache and hassle free. Thank you Guys!! read more

Appointment setting was easy and (mostly) painless. The woman on the phone was very friendly and got us in right away for an inspection. Joe came out to check our closest and bathroom for mold and let us know what we could do to reduce moisture in these areas. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will absolutely be calling them again if the need arises. Thank you! read more

5 stars for a very honest estimate. Joe provided me with the knowledge I needed to make an educated decision about what to do about the mold growing under my toilet. I feel this is especially hard to find in this industry. read more

We had vandalism at our commercial property late in the day. After calling they said someone would definitely be there for an emergency board up today. Joe and his crew came out and finished close to 11pm. They brought in lights and buttoned every thing up nice and tight. We were finally able to sleep, knowing our property was safe. Thanks so much to Angela, Joe and crew. read more

Professional and honest. I had a toilet flood and called a few places. Then I realized there was a restoration company near me. Their office was around the block from me so I walked in and the owner personally dropped what he was doing to come and see the situation and next thing you know in 30 minutes we had 7 blowers and 2 dehumidifiers professionally setup. Highly recommended and professional. read more

I had a great experience working with these people. They were responsive, helpful, and fair in pricing. They got the job done quickly and kept our house clean. They were so patient in working with my insurance company... huge bonus! read more

At 2am I awoke to the sound of gushing water - not a good sign especially considering we were on the 2nd floor of our house. Half asleep and slightly confused I stumbled into the bathroom to discover a pipe had burst and was spraying a full stream of hot water onto the floor. The water was flowing incredibly fast and by the time we were able to shut off the water, the bathroom was a small wading pool with more than an inch of water which had spread to the hallway and soaked into and through the carpet. To make matters worse, the water soaked through the upper level of the house and was streaming through the ceiling and lighting fixtures into the first floor of the house. I called Water Damage Zone and within 20 minutes, a van driven by the owner of the company pulled up with a water pump, blowers, dehumidifiers, etc. He triaged the situation, assessed the damage, took photos and water readings, and set up their equipment in an attempt to stop any potential mold from forming (none ever did). The next day a team from the company came back early in the morning to continue the clean up operation. I was amazed throughout the process at their knowledge, empathy, and professionalism. They helped turn what was a horrible situation into a manageable experience that we can now look back on and laugh. Once the water mitigation process had been completed, we hired their sister company, Best American Builders, to do our repair and reconstruction work. I had a similarly stellar experience with them, but that's another review for a different page. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs their services. read more

We had a burst pipe in our crawl space and called several companies to take a look. Water Damage Zone was the only one to take the effort to go into the crawl space and check the leak instead of telling us to pay for a few days of fans (at great cost). Water Damage Zone checked the crawl space and told us the area that is wet is very small and will dry up on its own so we don't need to pay for their services to have fans installed because its not required. Such an honest company! read more

Joe, very honest, frank, knowledgeable man. He knows this industry, he knows protocol and he is beyond very well read in which he doesn't mind sharing what he knows, based on experience and industry standards. He quoted me a fair price on a massive job, all costs were on an itemized invoice which he walks you through and explain each cost so you have a complete understanding of the in depth explanation of said charges. Might I add, it was the end of his work day but he still stayed and answered my questions, concerns and comments in the midst of sharing his knowledge. Much deference to Angela for her speedy response to have Joe at the premises within 30 minutes ready to do the work! I haven't met many honest straight forward people thus far in this business regarding matters like code violations - but I guarantee if there's anything you will take from partnering with Water Damage Zone and Restoration is you'll learn something that I'm sure you didn't know yesterday. In regards to their service, I'm sure the honesty in their business practices precedes this review. Keep up the great work friends! Thanks again read more

Simply terrible. I called this morning for emergency service. I was told someone would be there between 11am-12pm. I waited and waited and called to check up at 12:30. I was thentold that they actually couldn't be there until 3pm. Waited and waited again and no one showed up. So disappointing. Update 3/10: They've responded to my above post below. However, everything they're saying is false. I did say there was standing water. Believe me. There was buckets and bucket. Why would I lie? I was urgently trying to get some help out to our home! Our appointment was scheduled. And no one showed. End of story. We have since spent over $8k with a wonderful company and are thankful we worked with a honest and trustworthy company. read more
