I never write reviews--not sure why, because I ALWAYS read them. So I've got to write one for BH! We had an upstairs sink overflow that dampened a ceiling and several walls. It was very overwhelming. We had multiple bids for the remediation and chose BH Environmental. The rep who gave us our estimate AND the crew were so efficient, professional and straightforward. Oh, and thorough--the other companies missed an area that the others overlooked. They were on-time, easy to communicate with and very helpful. I'm so glad I chose them and wholeheartedly recommend them! read more

I recently reached out to BH Environmental for a water leak. They responded quickly and got a technician to come out and give an estimate the same day. Prices were reasonable. The staff was extremely dilligent and thorough with the water/mold remediation. Communication with Ricky and Joe were stellar. They were always responsive and fully transparent about the status. I would highly recommend BH Environmental !!!!! read more

Ricky & the BH team were great. We had a water leak and they helped with the remediation. They were super responsive to all my calls and questions. They were transparent about the entire process and were available to get started very quickly. All of this and their pricing was extremely fair compared to the other quotes I received. I hope I never NEED to work with them again, but if I do need remediation I will call them first. read more

The team at BH environmental is awesome! Wonderful customer service, prompt response times and I was able to schedule their mold testing service quickly! I appreciate Joe and his thorough communication and patience with me. My family and I are feeling very confident moving into our new place knowing there is no elevated mold to be concerned about. Thank you BH environmental!! read more

I requested a mold inspection under the house. We had had a long-time leak that had caused excessive mold growth (which was cleaned up) and I wanted to make sure there was no existing mold threat. I was considering fogging the crawl space, but Ricky said there was no need. All looked good. $150 for the inspection. I'm greatly relieved! Hoping we never need to, but would definitely call BH again if the need arises! read more

Would recommend BH Environmental. They came in quickly, gave a fair estimate & went right to work same-day. Professional & attention to detail. read more

Very professional and responsive. They responded quickly and helped with a wall that had a leak, taking care of the remediation and cleanup. Impressed with their work and would absolutely work with them again. read more

We had a mold issue in our primary bedroom. Ricky gave a thorough quote and helped to feel confident that the remediation scope would fully address the issue. His team set up a solid containment, performed the work to scope, and passed clearance testing with a third party company. They also offered to leave their containment up (including some temp poles) for the duration of my build-back project. The team was careful of my house during the demo which involved carrying large, heavy pieces of shower glass down some stairs and through some turns. The only downside I found during the process was the need to pay for the site visit for the quote. This payment is credited to the bill and it wound up being a non-issue due to selecting BH environmental for the job, but none of the other companies I had out requested payment for the quoting visit. read more

BH Environmental did a great job with the remediation and cleanup. They took care of the problem thoroughly while also keeping the costs down. Communication was excellent throughout the process, and the customer service was professional, responsive, and easy to work with. I've used BH Environmental before and had a good experience then as well. I would absolutely use them again if necessary and highly recommend them. read more

Bh honestly was the only silver lining in my whole remediation project due to a kitchen flood. They are responsive, reasonably priced, and were very respectful and clean compared to the other contractors and people hired. read more

BH is extremely professional courteous and affordable. They gave me a very reasonable price for the scope of work that I was looking at. I decided to demolish the structure rather than repair it but if I EVER have any mold issues in the future I will not hesitate to call BH Environmental. read more

Great service and extremely thorough and knowledgeable. I was concerned for any possible mold in the house regarding my toddlers allergies. I wanted to ensure the house was clear and safe. BH Environmental was great and the mold inspection service was not only efficient but also done in a timely manner. If in the future I have any more concerns I would reach out to them again. read more

Excellent work! Very prompt, explained the process, completely thorough and cleaned up well. Highly recommend.

UPDATE: I appreciate your pride and accountability in your business. We just had very little confidence that your bid - the only one for which we paid - was reliable. None of this process was communicated clearly to us. I appreciate the owner's effort to make it right with a refund of the fee. I wouldn't even recommend requesting an estimate from these people. I wish I hadn't. The star is because someone technically came out. They were the only ones who charged a fee to come out, and their inspector spent a total of maybe 50 seconds in the bathroom that had water damage. The person who came out told us would have an estimate within a day, and no estimate. Unlike the other companies that came out, he made no inquiry about the age of the house or mention of required asbestos testing. Overall, his visit did not inspire confidence that any estimate we did get (if we got one) would be valid or accurate (not require change orders). Maybe the reason why some reviewers say they're cheaper is that they cut corners? (We wouldn't know as we never got our estimate.) We were really dissatisfied even with our (extremely brief) visual inspection experience. Communication with respect to the process was not good (as we don't know what's going on). Clearly my short list selection process failed me here. ETA: Apparently they were waiting on payment for the estimate (no one made clear what this process was), which we finally got, and indeed did not include asbestos testing. read more

Thank you, Ricky and Eitan, for your excellent responsiveness to my requests for a mold inspection and follow up testing. Great to work with, thorough and professional, competitively priced, the mold reporting was comprehensive and you were great about answering all of my questions. I'll definitely call on your team again in the future whenever I need help. Highly recommended! read more

I can't say enough good things about BH Environmental. The entire staff and crew were on time, thorough, clean, friendly and always professional. When we first began this process, we had absolutely no idea about what to expect. The staff at BH made it simple, with a straight forward assessment of our situation, and a fair, reasonable price that we could live with. I want to send a shout out to Ricky. He was always available to answer questions, and made a point of showing up to get the job rolling. Ricky is a true professional read more

Timely & professional! Did exactly what I hoped for, thank you! Mold is always stressful, and they made the process easy.

They were great with scheduling, pricing, and follow up. I feel they are a leader in this industry.

Great experience with BH Environmental. They came in and assessed the problem and quickly worked to fix it.

I was shopping around for a company that could get rid of the mold I found in my new home so I called to see if someone could come out and do an inspection. When I called I spoke with Stephanie who informed me that the inspection fee was $150 and I told her I was looking for the best company and the best price. She was very nice and even had the owner of the company contact me to offer me a free inspection. They had also asked if I would send over an estimate that I received from another company to offer me a better price. They sent someone out, I think his name was Roberto who seemed to come out just to say he did. He did not do an inspection at all but just looked around and said that he would go off of the other company's estimate that I sent a day before. Unfortunately, I never received an estimate and had to move on and secure another company. I was hoping to work with BH and was pleased with the communication of the office staff and owner, but it seems that the people they send out to "inspect" is causing them to lose business. read more

Fast, next day service. They evaluated my situation and didn't try to upsell me when they didn't find any real issues.

Very thorough, professional, and clean. Did a great job! Explained things very well. Would definitely use them again if needed

Very helpful, clear reports. Brought peace of mind to my clients and helped us stay ahead of issues.

I had a great experience working with BH on removing mold from my house. Although the house is currently under construction and vacant, the BH team still took every precaution in securing the areas with mold and doing a thorough clean up. Ricky did the initial inspection and answered all of my questions, as well as stayed in contact with me during the whole process. He was always available through text or a call. I also spoke with Rodrigo during the abatement process to get updates on their progress. He was also friendly and very professional, and answered a ton of questions for me. Overall a great experience and job well done. I will definitely work with BH again when needed. read more

For anybody that is currently going through the process of remediating mold for the first time, I know it can feel really overwhelming and like it's going to be expensive. Rest assured, you have found the right company to work with. These folks are highly professional, responsive, and great value for the money. Now that I've seen the finished product of the work, I couldn't be happier with my decision to proceed with them. In my own journey, I had hired somebody else first because they were cheaper. After an additional air test where that company was fully unable to remediate the issues that I was dealing with, BH Environmental came in and saved the day. It was a night and day experience compared to the other vendor. Eitan and his team are top notch. Stop looking beyond this post and give them a call. read more

We moved into a new house and immediately noticed a very strong smell that we couldn't identify. A friend recommended this environmental company, and I'm so glad they did. At first I suspected it might be mold, but they had someone out within an hour to do a full inspection. After a thorough walkthrough, he explained that he did not believe it was mold, and he went above and beyond to figure out the true source of the smell. He identified the issue quickly and clearly, and we were able to address and completely resolve the sour odor in the home. He was responsive, professional, and truly a pleasure to work with. He clearly knows his stuff. I'm a real estate agent, and I've dealt with many mold and environmental companies over the years. I have never had such a positive experience. He wasn't trying to oversell me on anything and pinpointed the exact problem with honesty and expertise. This will be my number one call for inspections in the future. Highly recommend. read more

Ricky came the same day and did a thorough inspection of my unit. He did a baseline air sample outdoors, an air sample in my kitchen, air sample in my bedroom, and cavity sample in the bathroom. Results came in next day and they provided me with a lab report and scope of work that I provided to management. Ricky also followed up with me after the fact to explain the findings and implications. He was professional, friendly, honest, and provided helpful suggestions. I'm very grateful and appreciate his service and expertise. read more

We had some mold and rotten wood from a design flaw in our house and lots of recent rain and BH did an amazing job cleaning and removing everything! They were quick, nice and made sure that everything was safely removed. They also put me in touch with a contractor that they work closely with to close up and repair the issue. Everything was easy and taken care of for me. Highly recommend!!!! 10/10 read more

I was soo appreciative of everyone at BH! All aspects of customer service were considered, and I felt listened to, first and foremost! Word to the wise, don't waste time on a swab test and just invest in getting your own mold inspector to come out at first site of mushroom growth - or really at first feeling that you aren't feeling right. Allowing landlord to handle things means they aren't fully following a protocol in your best interest. My case had an unusual chain of events of mold growth under my toilet floor over 18 months after a fumbled re-piping job in my unit in 2022, which I didn't realize was brewing until full-on fungus growth finally pushed out from under my bathroom floor in August 2024. I had coughing and breathing issues I couldn't pinpoint, had even called around city depts to see if asbestos permits were done - nothing on file. When I should've just called BH first off in May of 2023, and then REALLY should've called them at first site of growth altogether, to get initial mold contamination results instead of allowing landlord to proceed on their own path to avoid addressing the breathing issues for these past 18 months. I did do a home-swab test after 1st growth, thinking the landlord would've done some type of their own mold test, but wanted my own just in case. They actually didn't and just repaired - which is great, but doesn't take away the last 18 months. I then inquired about the black mold that I did find was in my swab and wanted full-on proper mold inspector. Cut to, I found out from Tenants' Union that if landlord hired the Mold inspector they aren't required to show me the results, so I decided to jump in and get my own mold inspector on-site before the landlord's, just in case. And sooo glad I did, and big shout-out to Nissa at BH office, who made it happen for me! Rick came out next morning, I showed him original situation so he could gauge where to get the best air samples, and he was just so knowledgeable about factors revolving around my particular situation (4 samples taken)! He did wall moisture readings, whipped out plastic containers and a tripod to capture proper air samples, and further guided me on asking the landlord's mold inspector for a test I can't do as a tenant. His inspection took about 45 minutes and VERY glad he came before the other inspector, because I saw how landlord just brought a guy out who was only in my apartment about 10 minutes, only did wall moisture readings, and not full air capturing as Rick had, and I was unable to request wall sample due to how fast things went (and landlord standing right there, staring at me.) Test results came back next day!! And although I was basically not on track for my needing to get that test at FIRST sight of fungus growth and not leave it to landlord, Eitan, the owner, further helped with answering any follow-up questions for what my results meant in relation to dealing with landlord. I'm very grateful! Rick was the perfect guy with his extensive background and so professional, and Eitan's finalizing support made me feel i was in good hand every step of the way. read more

Updating my review for the new page! A few months back they did a great job removing the mold in our mudroom; they kept me informed despite me being out of town at the time of the job (more so than the relative I left behind to watch!). They were a little expensive, but their staff were willing to work with us to cut the cost by a lot by filling in a cancellation spot. I'd recommend mostly if you have the financial means to cover it, at it is a definitely a better job than a standard bleach method, which other companies can usually do for half the price at half the quality. read more
