Trustworthy and professional. Accurate has done two mold remediations for me over 2 years in my 100 year old house. The jobs were in different areas of the house with the 1st job being mold which was already present when the home was purchased and the 2nd after a hot water pipe burst. Both times I had work done, every single team member - from Anabel in the office to Job supervisions, crew leaders and crew-has been professional, thorough, and great at their job. I think trust that a company will do the job right is the most important thing when the job is happening in areas you can't see- and you can definitely trust Accurate to do what they say they will do. Additionally, they go out of their way to ensure you have a positive customer experience by communicating promptly, answering all questions and providing a transparent experience by showing you the work completed. Both Jose and Junior were amazing job supervisors and really made an effort to provide the best experience possible. The crew leader Juan really inspired trust and confidence in his work and knowledgeably answered any questions we had. The rest of the crew were so obviously very well trained at what they do and equally inspired confidence. I also really appreciated that they were so careful with our dogs to be sure they didn't get out. Just another example of the kind of professionalism and attention to detail you will get with Accurate. Hands down- best choice. read more

I would be careful hiring this company! They quoted us 4500 for two areas and then when they started the remediation they said the mold went farther than they anticipated and they had to add an extra 2200. Turns out, the extra "day" of work was just an extra 12"x20" cutout next to the original area (all within the containment area they had already set up, etc.) and they said it wasn't as bad as they anticipated... but they still charged two thousand dollars. They charge by the day, so there was no way to argue it, but I paid thousands extra to have a small extra piece of drywall removed. You also sign a contract saying they aren't responsible for damage incurred, but my contractor was appalled when he came to do the reconstruction - they had removed things in a way where we had to replace the cabinets rather than just putting them back and the tape they used to put plastic around the area stripped the paint off the walls and ceiling so we had to have an entire bathroom and our kitchen ceiling repainted. read more

I am one of the Los Angeles homeowners that found out their roof was in terrible shape during the late rains of 2021. Our walls were still saturated with water three weeks after the storms, as we were in the process of roof repair and house triage. So when we tested, of course there was mold. What I want to communicate the most is that the care and professionalism I received from Accurate Environmental was complete and totally 100%. Dealing with mold - and as a landlord where it's not just your well-being but others that you need to protect - Alfonso and crew were absolutely a partner to me in this work. They brought knowledge, confidence and strategy. Even a camaraderie for the whole endeavor. They informed me of all the steps and where we might need to reassess (because you don't really know what you have until you actually get into the walls, i.e. the total saturation I mention above) and when we did, we kept moving forward and kept in the timeline we were trying to meet. They worked hard, and considering walls are being removed from your home, the work was incredibly clean and the bare walls actually looked spectacular! I felt relief when I saw it all! I got several quotes and Alfonso was the quickest to respond, most affordable and most communicative. So grateful for Alfonso and all of Accurate Environmental. I feel good about my home again. For work that can be so complicated, the effort was honestly delightful. So so so appreciated. And we passed! read more

Let's be honest, no homeowner wants to hear the 4 letter word MOLD. Navigating the industry is very time consuming, complicated and expensive. Fortunately for us, we met Jose and Accurate who were one of the first to respond to us. After interviewing many vendors, we felt Accurate was the best fit for us. Pricing was competitive, work was excellent, and communication was amazing. I could call Jose at any hour and he would respond (not suggesting this for future clients :p). We also received a mold clearance from a third party tester after the work was complete. I highly recommend Jose and Accurate Environmental. read more

My neighbor had a water intrusion issue due to the heavy rains this past winter and it was determined there was mold. Jose and his team acted quickly to review the job and provide a very reasonable estimate. They promptly started and worked very swiftly. Their attention to detail, diligence and thoroughness were spot on as the property passed the Mold Clearance testing with a negative (favorable) result. Thank you to Jose and Accurate Environmental for their meticulous work and also for being kind and friendly to my neighbor during that inconvenient time. read more

Horrible! Do not use this company. They remediated my garage and after six visits could never get it to pass. I was very sick from mold and finally realized the obvious that they missed - the mold was in the garage doors! I asked them to come back and they refused. They refuse to answer any questions saying the file is in storage. They not only missed the obvious moldy doors but were very rude when I raised the issue. Stay away! read more

Wow. This company does great work. We had mold behind our fridge in the drywall and under the flooring due to a leak. Unfortunately, it was leaking for some time. We never saw water coming out from under the refrigerator. Only realized something was wrong when the visible floor started buckling. Accurate gave us a competitive bid. Removed the damaged floor, put up a containment room, ran air scrubbers, removed damaged drywall, cleaned up the mold. Running equipment to make sure the contained area is dry before we have an inspection done. Jose and Sammy were super prompt, really polite and absolutely considerate - considering how disruptive the process can be. I was kind of dreading the cleanup and these guys made it really manageable. They explained everything they were doing over the course of three days they were working. Not hoping for more mold cleanup in the future, but would call Accurate Environmental again if we ever need this type of service. read more

We just bought a condo in Santa Monica that ended up having mold in it. It's such a stressful thing to have mold because it puts you in the vulnerable position of having to trust someone to take care of it without jacking up costs or doing a less than stellar job. We interviewed several guys and were so relieved when we met Jose at Accurate Environmental because we had such an immediate sense of trust in his experience, expertise, and integrity as a person. There was never any choice for us after that. These guys are wonderful. I can't recommend them highly enough. Thank you, Jose and AE, for your help! read more

After discovering a leak that caused mold in built-in cabinets and in the walls behind the cabinets, Accurate Environmental owned by Alfonso Arroyo, was one of three companies that I contacted to come out to give an estimate. His estimate was considerably lower than one of the companies and within a few dollars of the other. When he came out, what had particularly impressed me about Alfonso is that he was straight forward and low pressure and someone I felt I would be comfortable dealing with. My first impression was definitely correct! Alfonso and his team (José, Samuel, Juan) did a great job, put up a well-sealed barrier between the work area and the rest of the bedroom and bathroom, kept the spaces they were working in clean, arrived each morning promptly at the time we'd agreed upon, kept me informed every step of the way, and finished the job in three days, rather than in the 5-6 that was in the proposal. Knowing that we would have a handyman come to do repair work (installing water barrier, drywall, and painting), Alfonso's team suggested that they leave the plastic barrier up so that the rest of the room would stay clean while the handyman worked. Alfonso even volunteered to advise the handyman who was doing the repair work about the correct material and installation of the water barrier. I am grateful that he did since the photos of the initial water barrier that the handyman sent to Alfonso showed that it was not the right material. After talking with Alfonso, the handyman replaced the water barrier and installed it as recommended by Alfonso, took photos that he sent to Alfonso who then called me to tell me that the material and installation of the water barrier looked fine. Thank you, Alfonso, José, Samuel, and Juan! read more

I seldomly write reviews. We had a unit that sustained some water damages due to  a toilet leak from a vacant unit upstairs. We met up with several mold remediation companies.  For one reason or another, I was not comfortable with any of them till I met Alfonso.  He was highly recommended by a couple of mold microbiologists.  Upon our first meeting, I knew deep down he is the one for the job.  His rate was competitive and I am impressed with  his less invasive approach.  Unlike some of the others who had recommended resorting to rather extreme measures without due consideration to the cost of rebuild.  Alfonso knows his trade and is down to earth.  The crew was also very thorough and detailed in every little aspect of the project.  In just two days they cleaned up any remaining mold in that unit and  passed the clearance inspection upon the first try.  I just could not be happier!  This is one of the very few mold remediation companies out here that I can trust. read more
