The jobs were in different areas of the house with the 1st job being mold which was already present when the home was purchased and the 2nd after a hot water pipe burst. I would be careful hiring this company! They quoted us 4500 for two areas and then when they started the remediation they said the mold went farther than they anticipated and they had to add an extra 2200. Turns out, the extra "day" of work was just an extra 12"x20" cutout next to the original area (all within the containment area they had already set up, etc.) and they said it wasn't as bad as they anticipated... but they still charged two thousand dollars. They charge by the day, so there was no way to argue it, but I paid thousands extra to have a small extra piece of drywall removed. You also sign a contract saying they aren't responsible for damage incurred, but my contractor was appalled when he came to do the reconstruction - they had removed things in a way where we had to replace the cabinets rather than just putting them back and the tape they used to put plastic around the area stripped the paint off the walls and ceiling so we had to have an entire bathroom and our kitchen ceiling repainted. read more

Horrible! Do not use this company. They remediated my garage and after six visits could never get it to pass. I was very sick from mold and finally realized the obvious that they missed - the mold was in the garage doors! I asked them to come back and they refused. They refuse to answer any questions saying the file is in storage. They not only missed the obvious moldy doors but were very rude when I raised the issue. Stay away! read more

Wow. This company does great work. We had mold behind our fridge in the drywall and under the flooring due to a leak. Unfortunately, it was leaking for some time. We never saw water coming out from under the refrigerator. Only realized something was wrong when the visible floor started buckling. Accurate gave us a competitive bid. Removed the damaged floor, put up a containment room, ran air scrubbers, removed damaged drywall, cleaned up the mold. Running equipment to make sure the contained area is dry before we have an inspection done. Jose and Sammy were super prompt, really polite and absolutely considerate - considering how disruptive the process can be. I was kind of dreading the cleanup and these guys made it really manageable. They explained everything they were doing over the course of three days they were working. Not hoping for more mold cleanup in the future, but would call Accurate Environmental again if we ever need this type of service. read more

After discovering a leak that caused mold in built-in cabinets and in the walls behind the cabinets, Accurate Environmental owned by Alfonso Arroyo, was one of three companies that I contacted to come out to give an estimate. His estimate was considerably lower than one of the companies and within a few dollars of the other. When he came out, what had particularly impressed me about Alfonso is that he was straight forward and low pressure and someone I felt I would be comfortable dealing with. My first impression was definitely correct! Alfonso and his team (José, Samuel, Juan) did a great job, put up a well-sealed barrier between the work area and the rest of the bedroom and bathroom, kept the spaces they were working in clean, arrived each morning promptly at the time we'd agreed upon, kept me informed every step of the way, and finished the job in three days, rather than in the 5-6 that was in the proposal. Knowing that we would have a handyman come to do repair work (installing water barrier, drywall, and painting), Alfonso's team suggested that they leave the plastic barrier up so that the rest of the room would stay clean while the handyman worked. Alfonso even volunteered to advise the handyman who was doing the repair work about the correct material and installation of the water barrier. I am grateful that he did since the photos of the initial water barrier that the handyman sent to Alfonso showed that it was not the right material. After talking with Alfonso, the handyman replaced the water barrier and installed it as recommended by Alfonso, took photos that he sent to Alfonso who then called me to tell me that the material and installation of the water barrier looked fine. I seldomly write reviews. We had a unit that sustained some water damages due to  a toilet leak from a vacant unit upstairs.
