I'm a repeat customer of Fix My Home because they always do a thorough job, fix the problem, and do it at a reasonable price. First time was in 2018 where FMH did a remediation of mold around my dishwasher. They sealed off the kitchen so the mold spores wouldn't spread to other rooms, removed the infected drywall, treated the area and did a 2-3 day dry out with air scrubbers and a dehumidifier. They installed new drywall, repaired the kitchen cabinets near the dishwasher and reinstalled the dishwasher. Everything looked great. My second time using FMH was in May of this year during a remodel of the same condo. Mold was discovered during demolition of one of the bathrooms and I instantly knew who to call. I called Darren at 9AM on a Thursday and he not only remembered me as a previous customer but he was also in the area and was able to stop by that morning. By 11:30 AM I had an estimate. The remediation work was done Friday (the very next day) so the bathroom wall could dry out over the weekend. Same process as before: Tented the area, removed the mold, treated the wood, dry out, and done. I was impressed how quickly FMH responded and my remodel was going again in just a couple of days. Just had my second experience using them for an apt in a small bldg I own in Beverly Hills that had water damage from the rain we had at the end of last year in which a small opening in the roof caused rainwater to leak into the ceiling and wall of an upstairs guest room. We called this group to do the water damage mitigation from a slab leak. It felt as though their main concern was that we get through the experience as quickly as possible and with as saving as much of our current walls, cabinetry and flooring as possible. Barrett was professional, knowledgeable, and a clear communicator. I appreciated that he wasn't a robot that just came and went. He saw that I was very concerned and stopped his inspection to assure me that my family was safe (I teared up). It stood out to me that while the machine was collecting the air samples, Barrett didn't go on his phone. During that time, he asked if there was anything else I wanted him to look at. My home was affected by a pretty bad water leak from the rain storms. Mold was found in three of the rooms and some of the flooring. After getting the environmental testing done, Fix My Home mold remediation did a great job of removing the affected areas of drywall and flooring.
