Once he found out it was our first time there and that they were close to closing, he went above and beyond and accommodated us with not one, but TWO chicken sandwiches on the house for us to try. That level of kindness and hospitality honestly made our night. We ended up getting an amazing combo with shrimp, chicken, macaroni salad, two Spam musubi, two chicken sandwiches, and two drinks -- all for only $22!!! Such a great value for the amount and quality of food we received. Danny's energy alone made us want to come back. The pad Thai was delicious and I'm usually very picky with my pad Thais. The noodles were super soft and it had a solid tangy flavor to them. We arrived at 4:30pm when they just opened but they seemed to get the dishes out super fast. The service was super nice and attentive as well. The Pad Su was a touch on the sweet side, but the curry on the panang beef is something I would put on top of white rice to add extra oomph. The service was quick and besides a little mistake in the ordering (no biggie) everything was fine. I do like the new decorations, but there is a weird smell as you enter the restaurant like a leaking gas line. Sit near the rear and you won't smell it at all.
