Carne asada fries, added tortilla under
Tina T.

This is one of those casual Mexican fast food spots. My fav are the burritos, carne asada fries or carne asada nachos ! Service is okay- I usually get take out or drive thru, so not much to say regarding service.

Kat H.

They have the best carne asada fries imo. I have been and will forever be coming back for this one item every time. They have a full size that could easily feed two or for sharing as a side. Or a half size for one or to share if you're not too hungry. The fries are topped generously with sour cream, guacamole, refried beans, pico de gallo and loaded with carne asada chopped up and cheese sprinkled on top. I ask for my fries extra crispy and tbh when all the toppings make the fries soggy it's still good!

This place did not dissapoint. I went through the drive thru and was craving Carne asada so I got the combination plate. To my surprise, their Carne was delicious. They give plenty of salsa which is a big bonus for me and the plate will surely last me for lunch the next day with the quantity I got. The service was quick through the drive through and their prices are very fair for the amount of food they serve. There was plenty of parking surrounding the area. Another favorite of mine here is the potato taco. Absolutely a must try.

The super Burrito with carne asada is spot on amazing

I've been passing this place up for months and then finally decide to stop by there and I totally regret it because it was some of the best food that I've had in a while and exactly what I've been looking for when it comes to Mexican food the service is very nice and the ambience is very well put.

1 regular taco and 2 taco plate

This place isn't in the safest neighborhoods. However it's lit and safe inside, the surrounding areas are sketch. Taco was $5. Tons of meat descent sized. 2 shredded beef tacos with rice and beans 13.29. Meal was descent, better than any fast food restaurant and they have a self serve salsa bar. folks working here are always nice and kind, but def not my fav place to go for tacos.

Ordered NACHOS got FRIES -_- and I'm HANGRY

I have a love-hate relationship with this casual spot. My go-to is the Carne Asada Nachos half size with everything. Good portion and good chips too. We waited a looong time in the drive-thru to order it, only to come home and open to a box of asada FRIES. I was so HANGRY. Fries were soggy AF. The lady even repeated our order when we ordered so what the heck happened?! Not going here when it's busy or will spend some time to check our order before driving away. They don't have pickled onions, only pickled carrots (soggy) and jalapenos. Red sauce is spicier than green sauce. You'll need like 5 since the sauce containers are quarter sized. Such a waste of plastic. Credit cards accepted.

Food was good and staff was very friendly. Took my 93 year old mother to lunch today and she really liked the food.

Upon seeing the stars and a couple of reviews, I was a little bit hesitant about dining here however I was craving Mexican food so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Carne Asada nachos, mini Pollo tacos and mini Asada tacos and a shrimp taco. Unfortunately this was some of the most unflavored food I've had in my 35 years of life. The customer service was OK though I felt it was a bit rushed. The strip taco by far was the worst tasting item and it was over stuffed with lettuce, cabbage mayonnaise, which has no place on a shrimp taco, bell peppers and rice. The shrimp did have a good flavor itself, however, altogether I couldn't continue to eat it. I paid $30 which isn't bad for all the items I got however if they had tasted anywhere near okay/ good I wouldn't feel like I had wasted my money.

I really like carne asada nachos. Good Mexican fast food. Here's a photo of the nachos. Fast drive thru service.

Is one order of taco just one taco?

Check out the webpage for menu, not sure what you mean by order of tacos? Combo plates come with 2 tacos, the regular or Mini tacos are one taco, the rolled tacos "taquitos" come in an order of 3, check out my review and photos

The place was busy as usually and we were told that wait would be around 15-20 minutes. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks. I ordered Macallan 12 Yr. and to my surprise, the bartender served it on a brandy glass rather than on a whiskey glass. Bad start. In less than five minutes our table was ready, not where we asked, but on the patio. It was cold and we asked the server to shut off the ceiling fan on top of us. Never happened. We ordered our food and asked for the wine list. Oddly enough the beverage list did not have a wine list, we as the server again for a wine list, another server came and told us that we did not see the wine list on the beverage list. We told him there is not a wine list on the list. A third server brought another similar list with a wine list. We ordered a Joel Gott Cabernet. We got our food but not the wine. We waited and waited and no wine was served. We asked another server to find out about the wine. The original server brought one single glass of wine, and we reminded him that we had ordered a full bottle. Another ten minutes passed and still no wine. By then, we were almost done with our meals. My grandson got up and told the server to forget the wine. Five minutes later another server brought the same glass of wine and left on the table. I thought, well people make mistakes, the place was packed and they felt bad about our bad experience. We got the check and to my surprise they charged me $11 for the glass of wine I did not order. As a former business owner, I always welcomed customers' suggestions.

4 star rating is for their 3-Roll Taco…read more This place has always been reliable for their carne asada, California Burrito, chicken chimichangas, and 3-rolled tacos. I've been coming here since it was originally named Alberto's...The outside seating has not changed. It's still the same round table bench with the red umbrella. Service is the same, they're pretty quick at getting your food prepped. Now I said that their carne asada has always been reliable, but my last two times I've ordered a carne asada burrito (sour cream and cheese only) or a CA burrito, IYKYK, their meat has tasted different. It taste like it's some carne asada and then like some other mystery meat, sometimes liver... Either way I stop eating it when I have tasted it being weird. Maybe it's the other meats they serve that get mixed in. I don't dig that. So for that I would rate them down to a 3 star. I'm rating their 3 rolled tacos as 4 stars! It's the best around. It has the crunch and enough meat inside. It's not all tortilla like some places. We always order it with sour cream and cheese only, with carrots on the side. I've tried adeltacos down the street and it doesn't compare. Get it here.

We moved away, but grew up with Albertaco's and we LOVE IT. Carne asada fries, chicken quesadilla, cali burrito, their red salsa, chef's kiss. Last year May 2025, we drove and did takeout for our brothers birthday. We ordered 2 carne asada fries, and they only gave us 1 (our order was big). Yesterday, May 17,2026, I drove out here again for my brother's birthday request to do takeout for our entire family. Ordered 2 orders of their rolled tacos, finally got home to see that we only received 1 order of the rolled tacos, not 2 (we also ordered more things). Yes, you'd obviously like for everything that you paid for to be handed to you, but a lesson learned to check your bags!!! If something is missing, kindly let them know and receive everything you paid for. Not the end of the world, we love this place as this is one of our childhood comfort foods/go-to places.. we moved away and miss this place all the time, and to make our birthdays feel like home/childhood, we drive out here to show our loved one some extra love with Albertaco's BOMB food, but yeah, it's a bummer when you're missing things that you paid for & is shown on the receipt (will post receipt photo shortly).

Like many Mexicans, I grew up believing that the best Mexican food can only be found in Mexico. However, La Huasteca completely exceeded my expectations.
