    Medium bowl
    Norm R.

I wish there were more of these around the city. The ingredients are so very fresh, the medium bowl I ordered was really packed, and of course since it is a build-your-own kind of eatery, you get your food very fast. I came in really hungry, I left really satisfied and happy. Good prices too, for the quality and quantity the food.

This is my absolute favorite poke place. The fish has always tasted fresh and amazing- way better than other, more well-known poke places I have tried. I believe they have the best variety of toppings and sauces, too. Also- the portions are massive here! Speaking of variety, you can choose to have your bowl on a base of white rice, brown rice, greens, and now- nacho chips! Also woop woop- this location also offers boba and macaron ice cream! Also, how nice to see that they begun catering to different diets and offering the vegan "Kuleana Bowl". Poke Bar is without a doubt my favorite take-out option. I have ordered from here in real life and through delivery probably 50+ times now the past few years, and I have never been disappointed! Only once when I ordered delivery, they messed up my order so when I re-ordered they gave me extra salmon! And wrote a cute little apology note with a heart drawn on it for me. That was the only time I had a problem with Poke Bar, and I ended up remembering the kindness they showed me in trying to fix it. The people working here have always been so nice, even the ones we have seen come and go. The ladies we saw behind the counter today (Sept 16 2021) are especially kind. We have seen them the past few times we came here. No doubt they are great at their jobs as they know how to make light conversation while still being fast and thorough, moving through the line of people. The restaurant is also decorated nicely with colorful walls. It is kept cleanly. The music is fitting, too. Glad to see a restaurant putting some thought behind their music choices. In short... Trust me, Poke Bar is the best-tasting poke bowl option out here, with lots of variety and the nicest customer service!

Medium sushi bowl. Mmmm. And boba tea!!

Food is great. First tried in San Bernardino, not realizing it was a chain. Definitely a fast food vibe in terms of ordering at the counter and limited seating. But the choices and flavors are many and the food is fresh and tasty. Delish!! A great value too. Even with the small bowl, I get two meals. A medium gets me three!

I don't know why I attempt to eat poke on the mainland. I should know better. Still hunting for an authentic poke joint. Various pokes to choose from along with your selection of rice or salad. I opted for the spicy tuna which was spicy but, flavored with schiracha. Why when making spicy tuna schiracha is always used? You cans add various other toppings to your bowl. I guess if you live somewhere there is no fish market you settle for this. It was okay but for the price I think you have enough ingredients here you can make your own and it'll taste better.

This Poke Bar is very clean and organized- the fish always tastes fresh and it has good flavor. My favorite options are the Hawaiian or the Wasabi flavored fish. I like how you can customize your bowl and I always feel healthy after I eat here. The only downfall is it it seems a little pricey, $11 for a medium size bowl is a little bit high, I know fish is expensive but they only give little scoops, all the rest of the toppings are generally low price. I appreciate that this Poke Bar is in the shopping center it is in to provide alternative healthy options, I just wish it was a little bit cheaper to eat healthy. The employees are always friendly, they wear gloves and always handle all food properly. We will definitely keep coming back and using their Clover App to earn points and hopefully earn free stuff to make up for the cost of eating healthy.

The poke was decent, but look at that damn avocado...if i'm paying $16 and change for a SMALL bowl, they should try to make sure their topping options are edible. Honestly, I should have just eaten the avocado, let it get me sick, and then sued the small business.

Salmon and shrimp with the spicy house sauce. Cucumber salad, crab salad, jalapeño and spicy chili sauce.

I tried this place for the first time for lunch today, and I absolutely loved it! It was also my first time trying poké so I was a little nervous going in, and unsure of what to get. The workers were helpful and I got some great recommendations! I went with a shrimp and salmon bowl with brown rice and spicy house sauce, and I have no complaints! It's close to work and I was surprisingly in and out even though it was peak lunchtime. I will definitely be back!

Great food. Very fresh seafood and lots of flavor in the bowl. Portion size is good. This is a small and plenty of food. Highly recommend!

Considering this is a chain, I didn't think it'd be absolutely amazing but this place was actually so good! I got the spicy tuna and shrimp for my proteins, a bunch of mixins including rice, edamame, imitation crab and some greens. Added on some sauce and it was super bomb. I can considerably eat a lot and a small was all I needed. I think it was around $13 or $14 which isn't bad for what's included in the bowl

Still my all time favorite poke restaurant! Although it is a franchise, this Poke Bar feels family owned. The owners are always super nice, welcoming and willing to help with your selections. The restaurant is always kept very sanitary. Just when I thought this place couldn't eat any better, they've recently added boba drinks to their menu! Could this place get any better?! I also enjoy their music selection, it gives me island vibes! You can unwind and enjoy a delicious meal while feeling like you're on vacation in Hawaii. The food is always consistent! I've never had a bad meal here. I tend to switch out my protein between salmon, Hawaiian tuna, spicy tuna or wasabi tuna. I also always get a large combo of spring mix and nacho chips. If it's you're first time here, have no fear, they offer samples for you to taste test before selecting what you want.

I'm giving four stars to be generous but this place has been so inconsistent. I love it poke so I keep coming back and it's great so I'll give it that. Just some of the workers are so rude & not personable even a little bit, no smile, I'm pretty sure the girl when I walked in rolled her eyes. Wow, way to have any kind of customer service. Maybe just maybe she had something in her eye.

    Excellent quality and generous portions.

Everything was great about this restaurant. The service was super friendly and quick. The food is FRESH FRESH FRESH. All of it, from the greens to the fish. Just perfect. There are so many combinations of sides, fish and other toppings, and sauces that you will never run out of things to try. The price isn't cheap but completely worth it. There are also a couple of tables on the patio if you want to eat out doors. The best part of that is watching people go buy and ask each other "what the heck is that" when they see the place. I talked to a few people and told them they needed to try it. The restaurant should give me free food to sit outside and recommend it, LOL...

Mango macaron ice cream sandwich. Soooo delicious!!

This time, I tried the seared salmon, Kiro roll, and unagi don. The seared salmon is fairly classic and tastes well-balanced overall. The Kiro roll was refreshing, and I really liked how fresh the yellowtail tasted. It did lean a bit on the sour side for me. I'm not sure if there was a little too much vinegar in the rice The unagi don was savory, and the unagi sauce was slightly on the salty side for my taste. I usually prefer it a bit sweeter rather than salty, but again, that's just my personal preference. I also really like how they've expanded their seating!! It feels much more spacious compared to my visit a long time ago. There's a good amount of parking in the back, which is always a plus. The staff were friendly and welcoming as well. All of the reviews sounded almost unbelievable, but because I was really in the mood for sushi, I decided to try them out. Boy, am I glad I decided to listen to the reviews on this one. This place is fantastic! This restaurant is fairly decent sized, located between a Mexican restaurant and ironically, a Panda Express (not sure why you would go to Panda when this is MUCH better and equally affordable). The dining room is well lit with about 10 to 12 tables and resembles a chipotle in terms of ordering process that funnels customers to the register. I ordered the smoked salmon roll, the spicy salmon roll, and a poke bowl. And on each one, the amount of ingredients and overall portion sizes far exceed what you typically expect for a sub $10 price point. My Poke Bowl was really exceptional and the purple rice is legit! It did feel and taste a little more starchy than regular white sushi rice but I liked it. Evidently they have two locations, with another location in Central Scottsdale. This will definitely be one of my go to sushi spots in the valley.

I went on Saturday lunch so I suggest maybe going for dinner or mid afternoon so you dont get stuck with eating leftover rice from the night before. Or just dont get rice on your order. Also after eating the whole thing i left still hungry. They could stand to make their burritos a little bigger. Also I got a tuna burrito and it had hot and cold toppings mixed in which made the fish lukewarm when it reaches your mouth which was super unappetizing. The sauce was put on the fish so the toppings like vegetables all get mushed into one spot with no sauce while the fish is soaked with sauce so you have to take a small bite out of each side to get a good combo of sauce. But the toppings were SO dry it was hard to eat. They really should put all the toppings in one bowl and mix it all so everything is mixed well before putting it on rice which further dries out your mouth when you take a bite of the dry toppings. They also dont cover their toppings so the fish is just left in open air all day. Considering fish attracts flies there would be no doubt a fly could have landed on the fish you are eating! I get not covering the toppings, but leaving fish out like that is kind of disgusting. One thing I did appreciate was whoever did the hiring hired 2 workers who altho looked like they didnt want to be there (but who really wants to work at a place like this on the weekend), they were still kind, helpful, and answered questions, as this was my first time here. It was smart to have a camera facing the line so they could go in the back to be on their phone rather than some fast food places where you can see them just sitting on their phones behind the counter. When a customer came in they immediately came out to help them. It was nice to see. Also they have a sign in there that states "local, healthy, raw" which i find misleading as theres no way their ingredients could be locally sourced as theres no body of water for fish to grow in arizona so they would have had to source the fish out of state, making it not local. And the fish does not taste very fresh. If it were local fish it would taste way better than wherever they get their fish from! So i found it odd they would claim to be local. Also the only raw thing in this burrito is the fish and a few of their vegetable toppings. And after all the fried toppings, hot cheetos, and sauces i dont know how healthy this is. Certainly less "healthy" than a normal sushi restaurant. But i guess if you compared it to McDonald's i guess it would be healthy. There are signs in here saying they are part of best of phoenix in 2017 and 2019. I cant imagine a place like this being the "best" in the city as the food was just not good. It must have tasted better back then because today the food was bad. So im assuming they cut costs a lot the last few years to the point of ruining the foods taste. Id come back for the service if all their workers were like this. So ill give a star for that. But I dont think ill come back for the food. The rice really ruined the whole burrito as every bite contained the inedible hard pieces of rice. The food is mediocre at best. I left hungry too.
