This location is way bigger than the one in Mesa. Kinda crazy having hotpot in the middle of summer, but we went for it, and yep, we were sweating like crazy. We ordered the Japanese Miso, Taiwanese Spicy, and Stinky Tofu Hot Soup. You scan the QR code and order straight from your phone, which is super convenient. We liked that you can choose your own spice level too. Everything came out hot and packed with flavor. We added pig blood cake and extra lamb, both solid choices. Service was fast, staff was friendly, and luckily the AC was working hard. By the end, it felt like we'd just finished a workout, but no regrets.

Tasty Pot has some delicious broths and combinations. However, they curate the meats and veggies for you unlike a buffet hot pot. They also serve the veggies and meats in the broth already so you don't get to cook it. While it tastes good, I don't get the feeling that I have eaten hot pot. Try their winter Melon drink! I am reminded of being in Taipei!

Came here on a Sunday for lunch. It was decently busy, with a total of four servers. The waitresses seemed a bit all over the place, but the guy with glasses was quick and efficient on his own. Two of the waitresses weren't very friendly -- a bit rude and not very attentive. Last time, I ordered the house special (stinky tofu) pot and was really disappointed. It had a strong satay flavor and was very oily. This time, I tried the lamb cilantro pot -- not too bad. Overall, the service could use improvement and better training. As for the food, I think the toppings could be better quality -- the meatballs, fishcakes, tofu skin, and stinky tofu all seemed like cheap ingredients.

Hot pot was ok - 7/10

Not many hot pot places in Arizona especially not in Glendale so I was stoked when I finally found one! Parking wasn't too bad because there was a huge parking lot! Service was lacking and I didn't like the concept where I had to scan the QR code and order from my phone. I prefer the staff taking my order but that's just my preference. There aren't that much seating inside but good thing it wasn't busy so there wasn't a wait. It wasn't too loud so that was nice. Got the mild beef hot pot ($20.99) and thought it was just ok. A little pricey and it would have been better if there was more beef. Broth is a tad bland and not as flavorful as I would like it to be. I would say it was 7/10 Thai Flavor Hot Soup ($23.99) was mediocre. There was a good variety of seafood - cuttlefish ring, fuzhou fish ball, clam, crab, baby octopus, mussel, shrimps but just wish there were more of each! I would say it's 7/10 Most likely won't return but it's a nice spot for first timers!

YUMMM. We've been struggling to find any good ramen or hot pot places out in AZ, and this might finally satisfy that craving. We got the beef, the curry, and the kimchi hot pots. I added soft tofu, dumplings, and ramen noodles on the side, but honestly none of it was necessary as the actual portion of the hot pot was so filling, I couldn't finish the add ons. Their appetizer dumplings are so crispy and delicious too. You can choose between no spice to lots of spice. The beef hot pot at medium spice was still fairly mellow, perfect. The kimchi with medium spice though was way hotter, so be careful with that one! Will be going back to try new flavors.

The food tastes amazing. The ambiance is great. The service is relatively quick! My favorite thing to get at any hot pot spot is the Tom Yum which this place calls the "Thai Spicy Soup." I use Tom Yum as a good basis for a spot like this because of the complexity of the flavor. Tasty pot makes it delicious. The downside...zero customization or choosing your own ingredients whatsoever. The menu options are pre-made and you can only choose to remove things and add things. Most other spots allow you to get up and choose different items to add to your plate that you can dump into your soup. Tasty pot does NOT do this. Other than that, this place is amazing and I have been a repeat customer.

This restaurant is beautiful. We were greeted immediately upon arrival and taken to a nice booth. We chose not to use the QR code for the menu and we were given real menus. (MENUS WERE STICKY TO THE TOUCH) We ordered a medium heat beef hot pot and a medium heat lamb hot pot. The heat of the hotpot was perfectly spiced as ordered. The food comes with a free iced sweetened green tea which was delicious. This was our first time having hot pot and we will be returning soon. The service was friendly. I highly recommend experiencing the food at this hot pot restaurant.

We love coming to eat at tasty pot but today they are a little bit ridiculous, lunches come with a green tea and I requested no ice when they bring out the tea they only give you like less then half of the cup! I ask the young men and the young men said yep that is how much you will get if no ice I told him no usually they give more and he just look at me like whatever! I will upload a picture for reference! I don't know if this is what the owner told her staff to do or not but this is a little bit ridiculous!

STILL DOES NOT MISS! The #11 always fills me up. I typically get the sichuan flavor hot soup, it comes with beef slices, napa cabbage, fish fillets, imitation crabmeat, enoki mushrooms, tofu, potato slices, clams, zucchini and scallions for topping. The broth is a pork bone based flavored and yes, it has some kick to it so make sure to get spice level that's to your comfort Service never disappoints. They are on top of their sh*t, very attentive, always making sure they are making rounds for more broth or refills. Ambiance is clean, they usually have great music playing and they maintain a clean restroom, which I appreciate!

This is a Taiwanese restaurant and it's a bit like shabou fondu but you get your own bow keeps boiling until your tune it off. Tip: You need your phone to order from a QR code. The soup is comes with extra of everything you can opt out of certain things example: pigs blood, tendent, fish balls.. yes those are the one opted out! I chose the vermicelli noodles instead of rice it was free and they have other options or you can add things like broccoli, ramen. Tip: Don't add cabbage it's comes with plenty of it! Turn off your soup after 3-5 min or stir your ingredients if your don't want it to burn, it's a bit like a roaring fire, you will thank me later. Not too many drink choices other than tea or soda. Stuck with free water and on large parties gratuity comes included from what is saw when I ordered in my phone and then when the bill comes option for anger tip. I double tipped by accident. Nice place for group or family or if you want to dine alone its pretty quiet so you can enjoy your meal.

I ordered the beef hot soup. It was really good with a nice, rich flavor, and the portion was big enough that I left full and happy. I also got the strawberry banana boba milk tea, and it was 10/10 delicious. The food came out super quick. Everything came out fresh and tasty. I'll definitely be coming back!

Japanese Miso Hot Soup (Larger Size Pot)

Not sure if the menu changed or my tastebuds since I last came, but this place is a lot better than I remember. Large portions and pretty authentic Taiwanese style hot pot. Whereas before I felt the soup base wasn't very flavorful, this time it was very spicy and well rounded. Lots of options for add-ons too.

Well, I have never had a tasty pot before. Glad my SIL was with me or I might have left my pot burning away. Had a bit of a wait until we were seated, particularly for a Tuesday evening. I had the miso tasty pot. It was tasty, but I had sooo much food leftover for the next day, and of course, the next day I wanted something else, as I just wasn't in the mood for my tasty pot. I did have their winter melon drink that was so good. Going to have to drink that again!!

After reviewing the menu we decided on Lemongrass chicken with vegetables, beef with vegetables, beef vermicelli, and shrimp vermicelli. Service is always fast here. I ordered the lemongrass chicken. The restaurant seems to charge for every little thing and the staff is slow and forgetful. Having to get up so many times just to remind them about our order is simply not acceptable. The space feels inviting and has a pleasant atmosphere. Food The food was good. We ordered the catfish spring rolls and they were delicious once everything finally made it to the table. Service The service was the biggest issue and it was very disappointing, especially since my family has been coming here for 3 years. Parts of our order were missing, including several side dishes and even the sauce for the spring rolls. We asked for a cup of ice and that was missing too. We waited about 10 minutes after receiving the catfish before the vegetables were brought out and we had to keep asking for simple items. It's a shame because things taste best when the food is still hot, but the catfish was already cold once they brought out all the small dishes that came with the main dish. Because the staff was moving so slowly, we ended up walking to the counter (6 times) just to follow up on things that should have been brought to us without asking. It honestly felt like we were serving ourselves. There should be no excuse why service was so slow because there's two waitress and only one other table. The Vietnamese coffee tasted sickly sweet and burnt. After taking one sip, I asked to switch to a Thai tea, hoping it would be better, but that drink was also extremely sickenly sweet. I returned it after one sip as well. I was surprised to see that I was charged for both drinks and was told it was because I drank them, which did not feel fair at all. They even charged us for the lemon slices.

There is even a lunch special menu Mon-Fri 11-2:30pm and has a good selection of bento boxes! I've gotten their beef teriyaki bento box and it came with rice, salad, 2 piece California rolls, and 2 pc fried gyozas. Pricing is $13-20 The beef teriyaki is pretty tender, flavorful, and not too salty. The salad is underwhelming and didn't have fresh greens. The fried gyozas were decent, nothing special. The California rolls were ok, not bad. I would say it's 7/10. The bibimbap was very fresh and delicious but a little pricey ($18.95). The bulgogi was marinated very well and rice was super crispy inside the hot stone bowl. Seafood tofu soup was pretty good and not too overly salty. It was very flavorful and the tofu was very soft. On a recent outing, a day trek to visit the historic downtown Glendale I got my wish, so there we went. Not at all unhappy, the complete opposite! As a Foodie and connoisseur of world foods as a whole, especially wholesome, down-to-earth, Eastern European and family traditional, A Touch of European Café filled the bill. We went all out to try as much of their offerings with our first visit as possible - or that our bellies could tolerate. Meeting the lively Malgorzata and good-natured Waldemar Okula (Chef) the owners was a thrill - a pair of the most down to earth and friendly folks I've met in restaurant eating in a long, long time, as well as he the uttermost fantastic cook. We definitely splurged on old world cuisine there. These folks bring to the Valley of the Sun the magnificence of Eastern European, more specifically Polish, Czech and some Russian homey, familial and delicious old country comfort foods. My heritage of Euro decent has long given me an affinity and love for all these foods and the Okula's have made it possible to have the real thing. I started with my all-time fave Borscht. A tradition beet soup with exquisite chicken broth with plenty carrot, celery and potato, in with hearty tomato with an apropos offering of just the right herbs and spices - fantastic! My Wife went for the overall eats which was equally magnificent. For the unfamiliar, or to anyone who desires tasting more than one particular dish, I highly recommend they're sample platter which gives you great tastes to be had including Pierogis, zelná rolka (cabbage roll), a wonderfully hearty and delectable lovecký guláš (Hunter's Stew), and a whole-heartedly hefty Polská klobása (Polish Sausage). All of which I must emphasize were magnificently prepared, homey aromatic and luxuriously flavored. Not to mention filling. While we were at it, we also enjoyed the best Pork Schnitzel we both ever had the pleasure of tasting... anywhere! Tender and juicy meat, while coated with a perfectly tasty and delicate breading. We also enjoyed their incredible cabbage rolls stuffed with finely ground and perfectly seasoned pork and white rice - Wow! I might also mention, every year each summer, they offer Foodie and Cultural tours to their homeland of the Czech Repulic and Poland, sometimes the surrounds. Hotel, food and tours included - we put it on our bucket list! This is a restaurant which has wall-to-wall history, vibe and heritage, owned and operated by a loving and vibrant couple from the old country who not only cook and serve the real thing, but they and their food open the door to another world. Needless to say on our return we're heading for the Guláš (Czech Goulash), more Borscht and their Pierogies. Meanwhile, we'll enjoy both the leftovers and extra meals we took home with us! As you may have noticed, for me this was an exciting review to put together because Mr. and Mrs. Okula gave us a piece of their heritage, a taste of their magnificent food, their love, and A Touch of European!

The menu doesn't say you can't do that anywhere. Not on the board, not in fine print, nowhere. Instead of just making the order, I was told "you can't do that." No explanation. No logic. Nothing. I asked for the manager, and Zana wandered over. She had no clue what the policy even was. She had to stare at the menu board, then ask a coworker, just to come back and tell me no again, still with zero reasoning. Then she hit me with the most ridiculous explanation I've ever heard in a restaurant: it's "implied" that you shouldn't order two soups. Implied? By who? Because it sure wasn't implied to me, and it definitely wasn't written anywhere. Instead of owning the mistake or providing a real answer, she got visibly aggressive the second she was challenged, like I asked her to solve rocket science instead of a lunch order. When I asked for her District Manager to contact me, she took my name and number, but not before throwing out this gem: "Do you go to Panera Bread and do this too?" Yes, actually. And unlike Café Zupas, Panera doesn't whine about it. They encourage it. I left Café Zupas and went straight to Panera for a stress-free lunch. I even kept the receipt so Café Zupas can see how a real company handles customers. Bottom line: the menu is misleading, the manager has no command of the policies, and the attitude was downright unacceptable. If this is how Café Zupas chooses to treat paying customers over something this small, it says everything I need to know. I'll happily spend my money elsewhere.
