Gỏi cuốn (summer rolls: shrimp + mint + lettuce + vermicelli) with a peanut sauce + pickled carrot / radish sauce - Two Vietnamese spring rolls on a white plate accompanied by two bowls of soup, one with a dark broth and the other with a clear broth, on a wooden table.

Staying on Zanjero Blvd for the 4th time in 2 years, I got into a routine: check into the hotel, relax a bit, and cross Glendale Ave for a quick dinner. This was usually a stop a Poketrition (or NakedQ) but Poketrition closed up sometime last year. Pho AnAn stepped in, offering Vietnamese fare in a serene environment (or, as serene as a strip mall on a major road can get). The menu covers off a number of familiar dishes (summer rolls, banh mi, bún, and, of course, pho). Needing something light and fresh after a day of travel, I did an order of shrimp goi cuon (summer rolls), bún thit nuong (vermicelli + grilled pork), and iced tea. The summer rolls, filled with shrimp + vermicelli + mint + lettuce, held together well, even when paired with not too thick peanut sauce. The vermicelli bowl (vermicelli + grilled pork + cucumber + pickled radish + bean sprouts + peanuts + mint) provided a great mix of flavours (smokey / salty pork, sour radish), and improved even more with some of the pickled dipping sauce from the summer rolls Geared towards takeout, service is speedy, the food satisfying, and the portions more than generous.

We stopped by Pho Anan for lunch, and the experience was just okay. When we walked in, the lady cleaning a table pointed to a corner table without saying much, which felt a little rude. We ordered Spring Rolls, Egg Rolls, and two bowls of the Special Pho. The Egg Rolls were the only thing we really enjoyed. The Pho, on the other hand, had a bland broth and didn't feel worth the $16.99 price. Our total came out to $60 with tips for just the two of us, which seemed overpriced for what we got. Probably wouldn't go back.

It's good to know there's finally a decent pho place nearby. The place is small, clean, with comfortable seating. We were greeted with a friendly staff. The staff was kind and accommodating. The food arrived in a fair reasonable time. The food we've tried is flavorful and good. I always order the Fried Egg Rolls and 9a. Combination pork broth as it's my toddler's favorite. I always enjoy eating the combination fried rice but will probably try something new next time I stop by. My sister tried the combination pho which was good cause she inhaled the dish haha and made sure nothing was left. Their Thai Tea is good! Of course I'd come back here!

Pho was so delicious that we forgot to take a pictbefore starting eating!! - Two bowls of pho with chopsticks, herbs, and condiments are on a wooden table in a restaurant setting.

Food is delicious! Service is great very attentive the waitress, it was better than I was expecting. Ambiance super cozy and relaxing.

Bun Bo Hue - A bowl of Bun Bo Hue, a Vietnamese spicy beef noodle soup, with sliced beef, onions, and green herbs, served with lime wedges and bean sprouts.

We're so happy to have a great pho spot close by! The restaurant was very clean and welcoming, service was great and the waitress was super friendly and accommodated my request for extra spice on the side to enjoy with my Bun Bo Hue. The broth was delicious; I just personally prefer an extra kick of chili in my BBH, they also are very generous with the meat. My bf enjoyed the pho as well, both broths tasting clean and delicious, reminiscent of a homemade meal from your Ba ngoai. We'll definitely be back. Also don't forget to try their refreshing fresh-squeezed orange juice!

Green Thai tea and the Vietnamese coffee are splendid! I got the pho brisket and it was just ok for me... the brisket was cooked well but the broth was a bit bland to me. Service was great. Ambiance has indoor seating and very clean. I'll come back to try other things on their menu

Family owned business and local and AUTHENTIC The restaurant it sell is a little small but I'm hoping they get more business to get a bigger building I love the pho here I always do beef and brisket comes with bean sprouts basil jalapeño and lime It's gives a very cozy vibe on the inside with relaxing music a perfect place to read a book or two. They do have a larger table so if you have a big family I'd just call ahead and make sure there is room They are fast with service

Food was decent. I have had better and worse. It's fine if you are in the area. The restaurant is in close proximity to several hotels.

Good food. Slow service and the tables were dirty so the waiters had to find clean table to seat the customers.

I decided to stop and give it a try as I saw it on Yelp when searching for bbq buns. Asian food is a top favorite and normally get at a good dim sum place. Ok interior is nice reminds me of maybe a former bbq restaurant. I may have done 5 stars but it chaps my hide when restaurants charge for soda water the same cost of a soda. Note not canned or bottled but same as that from the fountain. Ok to the food good my favor it is the Bao Pork belly bun peanuts and pickled veggies 5 stars. Next is the soup dumplings first time having got full but sampled 3 different ones need to try the others 4 stars. The Bbq pork buns good chunks of pork pork in the middle 3 stars. I'm going to come back and try some of the other food. Fluffy Grandma Recommends

My favorite items on the menu have to be (in no particular order) the Roujiamo, pork and shrimp pan fried dumplings, the cucumber salad, the fungus salad, the green beans, the cold beef and tendon, and the hot and sour soup. I definitely recommend coming with a group of people so you can order a bunch if food and then share it all. Only note is that they could do without playing the entirety of Taylor Swift's discography every time I visit.

After reviewing the menu we decided on Lemongrass chicken with vegetables, beef with vegetables, beef vermicelli, and shrimp vermicelli. Service is always fast here. I ordered the lemongrass chicken. The restaurant seems to charge for every little thing and the staff is slow and forgetful. Having to get up so many times just to remind them about our order is simply not acceptable. I really hope things improve, especially for long time customers who have supported this place for years Ambience The ambience was very cute and charming. The space feels inviting and has a pleasant atmosphere. Food The food was good. We ordered the catfish spring rolls and they were delicious once everything finally made it to the table. Service The service was the biggest issue and it was very disappointing, especially since my family has been coming here for 3 years. Parts of our order were missing, including several side dishes and even the sauce for the spring rolls. We asked for a cup of ice and that was missing too. We waited about 10 minutes after receiving the catfish before the vegetables were brought out and we had to keep asking for simple items. It's a shame because things taste best when the food is still hot, but the catfish was already cold once they brought out all the small dishes that came with the main dish. Because the staff was moving so slowly, we ended up walking to the counter (6 times) just to follow up on things that should have been brought to us without asking. It honestly felt like we were serving ourselves. There should be no excuse why service was so slow because there's two waitress and only one other table. The Vietnamese coffee tasted sickly sweet and burnt. After taking one sip, I asked to switch to a Thai tea, hoping it would be better, but that drink was also extremely sickenly sweet. I returned it after one sip as well. I was surprised to see that I was charged for both drinks and was told it was because I drank them, which did not feel fair at all. They even charged us for the lemon slices.

But they were on their own very good. I got the Japanese Miso Hot soup and added instant noodles and lobster balls. Mild weather on the spice. It was still pretty spicy. You walk in get seated. Then that is really the last time you talk to someone. You scan the menu and order from your phone. I think this cuts out any confusion. You then have someone bring your food and drinks to your table. They do walk around and offer your more broth as there is a lot of food in those bowls. And when you add the dry noodles you need more broth. I think that is cool. They do drop off the check midway through. It does get busy around 7pm we got there just before 6 so got in no problem.

When we got a table, we ordered using the QR code. It took a bit of time for our food and drinks to come. But the spot was pretty busy. Only saw the server when they brought our drink and our food, and when we ordered additional drinks. This is not like the typically hot pot spots where they bring you the broth and meats/veggies separately to cook yourself. You pick a "soup" premade and it comes to your table in a hot clay pot. It's a bit heavier broth. Definitely not what my taste buds enjoy. However my husband liked it. I don't think I'll dine here again only because I prefer the cook myself experience, simple ingredients, and lighter broth.
