My boyfriend is half Vietnamese and he said this tasted just like his mom's pho. After driving 5 hours from Cali we decided to stop here for lunch and omg it was AMAZ!! The chopsticks are really good (not the ones you have to break apart and pick the strings off of) and they had really good chili oil. Greeting you on the fence upon arrival should be, depending upon the season, a cheerful, abundant shrub of velvety red flowers. I used to grow them in pots back in California. They never bloomed so vibrantly as these. The curb appeal overall is pleasing - a modern sign and clean, modest architecture. Welcome! Come on in! I don't know why but that pleasantness faded for me and my husband pretty swiftly when we arrived. The restaurant was busy but there were plenty of open tables, including a two-top by the front window. But, that choice was not given and it was quickly suggested that we head to the back. We were confused but complied. A couple of employees were back there eating and looking at their phones, no other customers. We chose a booth, and decided to just enjoy the softness of it. The food was okay and the wait was average. We ordered pork spring rolls to start. They were tender and freshly made; the peanut dipping sauce was thick and tasty. I ordered the garlic noodles for my entree. The pasta was flavorful and succulent. For an additional fee you could add a protein, so I chose chicken. I expected tender, marinated chunks woven throughout. Like the photo some took on Yelp. Instead, it was giving Denny's: dry grilled strips. No cilantro in sight, unlike the picture. I tried a spoonful of my husband's ramen. The broth was clearly handcrafted and traditional. As I delighted in its savory goodness, it came to mind immediately that he needed this comfort after a tough day. Before I could say it, he took the words out of my mouth. Mmm. He was satisfied and that made me happy. We love children and a family with two little ones were seated in the back with us after a long while. The little girl ordered with such confidence. They've been here before. Lovely restaurant with a good family vibe for a group of friends or a couple - or the senior gentlemen seated by that window seat as we left. Killer diller Vietnamese food! The Fresh Spring Rolls are burrito-ish and a bargain. I ordered the pork version; Da Beau, chicken. Both meats were grilled. Leafy veggies were fresh and subtly flavored with -- I think -- cilantro and mint. And the serving of Peanut Sauce borders on being a small beverage and perfectly seasoned, not overly sweet. Da Beau ate light with an order of Chicken Potstickers. Browned to perfection on every square millimeter, their crunchyosity had a two-foot radius volume. I ordered Pho with Ribeye and I'm here to tell you it was the best pho that's ever crossed my T-buds. And righty right right, every family's pho is different but this joint's pho breaks the mold. Redolent of star anise it's the new chicken soup. And somehow the vermicelli noodles are more cooperative when twisting the skinny devils around the ol' tines. (Eating pho with chopsticks I leave to the manner born.). Upshot? After a bowlful of Viet Table's pho doesn't cure what ails you, then you weren't sick. Know Before You Go. Living in Buckeye, and working in downtown, we have been waiting for this place to open since the week the sign went up last spring! Worth the wait! We definitely needed this fresh option for food downtown. They are still in their soft opening phase, so it's a limited menu but you still have a decent amount of options. We will definitely be back. We live down the street from this place and we're so happy to see a pho place open near us as we always traveled to Watson for pho. This is definitely the new spot !
