I've been twice now, and let me just say that this place is insanely good. The food is great, the drinks are great too. I knew I wanted pho, but not the huge plate so the waitress recommended the mini plate, which is a great serving if you're craving pho but not too too hungry. The restroom is super clean too. I stopped in on Monday around 430pm. I just wanted some good food & pho, this placed popped up several times in many posts. There are a few things that were good: peanut sauce for the spring rolls, seafood pho flavor, Taro boba smoothie & the orange chicken plate. I also ordered a grilled pork banh mi & chicken chow mien. The pork in both the spring rolls & banh mi were super dry, and had a wierd color. I only ate 1 roll & took 1 bit of sandwich. The pho flavor was good, but it was not hot at all. It took a while to be able to get to eat the noodles. The orange chicken was actually pretty good. The chow mien was okay, chicken was dry. There were a number of staff working so service wasnt bad but it wasnt great. The biggest reason I would not return would be the cleanliness of the seating area & bathroom. There were a number of tables dirty & filled with plates, the wall was very dirty (especially where we sat), the floor & even the window area by the entrance & I dont mean fingerprints, I mean splattered food and trash. Even if the food was phenomenal I would not go back because I can't get over the lack of cleanliness. I will just stick to Lotus Pho (old Teabo). read more

I used to come to this place over 10 years ago. They had a change of management in 2019. I'm excited to be back in AZ seeing a place that looks so familiar to what it used to be. Although I used to come here when the summer rolls were much longer..and the food was spectacular, I feel they are keeping Eggroll alive. I decided to order the special pho. It has a rich yet simple taste without any tripe but the broth was good. For take home, They provided alot of noodles and broth.. and well packaged everything. My 12 year old daughter wanted Pho so I was looking for an affordable place so she could have a bowl of soup. We just spent $40 on lunch out and didn't want to spend another $50 more on dinner. Looked at the menu online which said Pho was $9.95. Figured the soup bowls were small and price was reflective of that. Got to the restaurant and Pho was $17!!! I haven't been to this place before until last month. It was a really great location considering how delicious the pho was! There were various toppings to put in your pho. So we're gonna start off talking about the pho because the broth was just so savory and succulent, the noodles were cooked to perfection along with one of the most freshest side of toppings really crunchy bean sprouts fresh juicy lime and you can definitely tell they just freshly chopped jalapeños as well. The Eggrolls came up piping hot along with some Romain lettuce and cilantro, we used the lettuce as a wrap to roll egg rolls in, they had the best sweet fish dipping sauce we've ever had in Arizona. The Bahnmi sandwich WAS THE BEST SANDWICH WE HAVE EVER HAD!!!!! FRESH ASIAN MEATLOAF, PORK, PATE (fresh cracked pepper), CUCUMBERS, PICKLED CARROTS, SUPER FRESH JALAPEÑOS, it was the bread for me! Alright, fine. FINE! In the interest of fairness I'm giving this place a solid three stars, because everything except their pho is actually *REALLY* good. The pork skin spring rolls are fantastic. Their egg noodle soup with shrimp, wontons, and pork is outstanding. Their fried rice is exquisite. Heck, even their lemonade has a salty plum in it, which make it amazing. I honestly just can't wrap my head around why they refuse to put tripe in their pho dac biet. If they did that, then I would give them five stars and eat there every week. But I cannot, in good conscience, give anything more than three stars for subpar pho. But I also have to admit that everything else they're doing here is legit. Fine. Have your three stars. Heard and read about this place so today at 9:30 am I gave them a try. Beautiful, clean place with lots of appetizing photos on the outside. Several tables filled even at that hour. I was just there for some take out, Spring Rolls is what I was craving. Very friendly staff. Took my order and gave me a cup full of cold water as I waited. Said it would take 10-15 minutes. No problem, certainly willing to wait a few minutes. About 5 minutes later I was ready to go with my order. Did not even look in the box, wanted to be surprised when I got home. Once there, I was ready, opened the box and it was a thing of beauty. Three nice sized rolls, hot sauce and a great peanut dipping sauce. I dug in.....mmmm...these are the best Spring Rolls I have had since I left Hawaii. These are the real thing, the way they are suppose to be, shrimp, pork, lettuce, herbs, noodles ....perfect. I've been craving Pho for weeks and I'm always down to find a new place to try out. Today my son and I made the drive to Goodyear to see what Pho King Egg Roll is all about. Located in an older part of Goodyear in a strip mall you'll find them. Peking lot is large and shared with a few other businesses. Don't let the outside fool you. I was pleased to see so many people inside. It definitely isn't anything fancy, but a great amount of seating and quite a large menu. Positives for me off the bat were the service as well as drink options. We were greeted right away, asked if we'd like to go or dine in. We were seated and given menus. Our drink order was taken and we had them soon after. I liked that they had more than fountain drinks. The list included milk tea, Thai tea, boba and such. At $5-6 though I opted for a fountain drink today. The menu was large and had so much to choose from. It even includes Hot Pot which so many love. I noticed a lot of people ordering the beef stew noodles. I decided on the shrimp and chicken phó and potstickers as an appetizer. My son ordered the sliced pork chop with white rice. The Po tickets came out first. The potstickers here include chicken and vegetables. I typically prefer pork, but these were crispy, flavorful, and garnished with veggies and fried onion. Our entrees followed soon after. The pho has two size options and I chose the large one. Why would I? It looked so good and again was garnished with a bit of fried onion. I added my bean sprouts, jalapeños and sriracha and dug in. While it was good it wasn't the best I've had. I wish it had a bit more flavor. Shrimp was skimpy and only had 2 in the entire bowl. The sriracha definitely helped the flavor, but I felt the broth was lacking just a little. Again, it was still very good, but missing a little for me. My son enjoyed his pork, but was upset that he had to leave quite a bit of it uneaten because it was all fat. He's not huge on vegetables so I ate his cucumbers. They were crisp, fresh and delicious. The fish oil was good as well. Prices were fair and portions good size. The large pho size alone is big enough to share or take home leftovers. If I was in the area I'd stop again. read more

Had came here eons ago when it was the only Vietnamese game in town so I went there nostalgicly and it was sadly a disappointment. The soup had no flavor and the spring rolls came with what seemed to be pretty close to plane peanut butter. The price was high and it took over 15 minutes to get my pho. Which is unheard of it's almost the point of pho that it's lightning fast. A horrible thing that stayed since long ago is that the tables are all left unbussed until after the lunch rush. Gross to look up at empty tables filled to the brim with dirty dishes. The waiter was sweet but new and he seemed to be running the show.
