I'm shocked the reviews for this place aren't higher. This is my new favorite pho place by far. The broth is full of flavor. It's the only pho that did not need a spoonful of chili oil to make flavorful. Also they serve water with crushed ice which is PERFECT for a hot day. The service was fast. There is a stage and the building itself is pretty large. It's a nice venue.

Came here for this. I've been coming here for so many years, love bun bo Hue here since new owner. Very authentic. Best bun bo Hue in Arizona

Been coming here for a while. Plenty of seating available whenever we show up. Menu is huge. Finally found a place that has a good sweet and sour soup with braised catfish. Pho bowls should not to be forgotten either. Broth has an amazing flavor profile! Portion sizes are large so we usually leave with plenty of leftovers. Prices are reasonable and service is what you'd expect from a Vietnamese restaurant. Highly recommend!

Service was fast and friendly. Staff was knowledgeable and had no problem to accommodate my request. Broken Rice and Pork Chop was excellent! Beef Pho was excellent and my husband feels like one of the best if not the best he's had in the valley. Egg roll was fresh, hot and delicious. The sauce was nice and spicy. Restaurant was clean and food was reasonably priced. Highly recommend to give this place a try!!!

Hu tieu Nam Vang: 5/5, real quail egg!!! Not the sad canned ones. Other toppings are also quite authentic. The broth is good. I wish there was pickled garlic but anyway, it's good enough for me to come back for it. Pho: 4/5. Extra point for beef ribs. It needs to be stewed 30 mins more though. Not tender enough. The soup broth is good but it could use some more seasonings.

Canh chua Tom, ca kho to, ca Chien Every dish was perfectly season! I highly recommend!

Amazingly this place got it right! The food was seasoned so well to my taste. You won't be disappointed. This is no fancy place, but great Vietnamese food!

I recommend to call this restaurant before you plan to dine here. I tried to have lunch here and arrived over an hour after they opened. They told me that they were only serving two dishes today. They weren't the dishes that I wanted to try. I hope they get it together because many of the dishes sound very good. Call first before you dine here so you know what they are offering or have a back up plan.

Amazing food! The owner was so sweet and came to say hi. 10/10 recommend!

I wanted pho and started to browse what's nearby my home since i moved into a new area and the Westside pho locations haven't really wowed me. I go in and sit down and order and I some egg rolls. The egg rolls came out so fresh and hot and it was delicious. I wish I took a picture I ordered the beef pho. I was a little sad they don't have chicken pho on the menu because Everytime I eat beef pho I am not a fan. But let me tell you! This pho was delicious ! So fresh! The beef so so tender and easy to eat. I would def come again

Dong que is one of my favorite restaurants. The 2 dishes I order all the time are bun bo hue and banh hoi thit nuong.

After reviewing the menu we decided on Lemongrass chicken with vegetables, beef with vegetables, beef vermicelli, and shrimp vermicelli. Service is always fast here. I ordered the lemongrass chicken. It is pretty spicy. The flavoring was really nice with a fish sauce in it. It was probably spicier than I wanted. Think I'll go back to my noodle order next time. It was good to try something different though. I would give my dish four stars. Otherwise everything else gets five stars. Free street parking outside.

The restaurant seems to charge for every little thing and the staff is slow and forgetful. Having to get up so many times just to remind them about our order is simply not acceptable. I really hope things improve, especially for long time customers who have supported this place for years Ambience The ambience was very cute and charming. The space feels inviting and has a pleasant atmosphere. Food The food was good. We ordered the catfish spring rolls and they were delicious once everything finally made it to the table. Service The service was the biggest issue and it was very disappointing, especially since my family has been coming here for 3 years. Parts of our order were missing, including several side dishes and even the sauce for the spring rolls. We asked for a cup of ice and that was missing too. We waited about 10 minutes after receiving the catfish before the vegetables were brought out and we had to keep asking for simple items. It's a shame because things taste best when the food is still hot, but the catfish was already cold once they brought out all the small dishes that came with the main dish. Because the staff was moving so slowly, we ended up walking to the counter (6 times) just to follow up on things that should have been brought to us without asking. It honestly felt like we were serving ourselves. There should be no excuse why service was so slow because there's two waitress and only one other table. The Vietnamese coffee tasted sickly sweet and burnt. After taking one sip, I asked to switch to a Thai tea, hoping it would be better, but that drink was also extremely sickenly sweet. I returned it after one sip as well. I was surprised to see that I was charged for both drinks and was told it was because I drank them, which did not feel fair at all. They even charged us for the lemon slices.

First of all, ordered at the counter and chose our seat. Place had plentiful tables to choose from. Menu had a variety of sandwiches, vermicelli, and rice plates. So many choices, but my tummy stuck with the sandwich. When the nicely wrapped sandwiches came to our table, I we were pleasantly surprised. The sandwiches were more than generous and huge. I ordered #2 - grilled pork, pate, fried egg, and with all the trimmings. Absolutely delicious! Bread was nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Protein fillings were not skimpy at all- the grilled pork was not overly salty, the pate was a nice thin creamy flavorful layer, and the fried egg was perfect and fluffy to top. The produce- pickled veggies with decent balance of cilantro and thinly sliced jalapeños! Omg soooo good. All fresh and flavorful! Can you pls open another eatery in San Antonio?!

An employee quickly cleared the table without hesitation, wiping it down and giving us a pleasant greeting. He was also clearing plates through the small space. It looked like there was just one person working the counter and he was also helping to cook. Everything was cooked to order. We ordered a BBQ pork banh mi, spring rolls, and a pork eggroll noodle bowl (which is my newest obsession). The vegetables on the sandwich were fresh and flavorful; we had some inconsistent knife cuts on the pork resulting in "a big 'ole hunk of meat" on one side of the sandwich, but no big deal. A few issues for me, which may not be a deterrent to you: The rice noodles were overcooked to my taste and my noodle bowl was missing the crunch of bean sprouts! Those same mushy noodles were in the spring rolls. We both didn't care for the addition of bacon in the spring roll and the peanut sauce was the consistency of peanut butter, but we mixed it with siracha and made our own little spicy sauce. All in all a friendly, clean, and inviting place!

But somehow I had saved this one to my map so I came here with a couple friends for dinner last week. I wasn't super hungry, so I just ordered spring rolls, crispy chicken dumplings and a "dragon egg" boba tea "smoothie." Though it was on their menu under "Smoothies" it was not a smoothie at all. It was an icee. That said, it was still delicious and I loved the fresh and fruity boba balls. The flavor was more lychee than strawberry, but I didn't mind. My friends got an appetizer plate and 5-spice chicken. Both enjoyed their food very much. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere, but does have sit-down service. Very chill vibes, and prices were fair. The place was clean, staff was attentive, and the peanut sauce that came with my spring rolls wasn't spicy, which I appreciated!
