Had this place bookmarked for awhile and finally went for lunch Saturday. Service was great. Waitress asked if we were familiar with Viet food. It was very quiet inside and no one else came through while we were there. Just one to go order. Every time we try a new Viet spot we always get the egg rolls and spring rolls. You get 4 large egg rolls in an order and they were fresh and pipping hot. Spring rolls were fresh and the peanut sauce was very good. Husband ordered the vermicelli noodles with pork and egg roll. I ordered the banh xeo. When the banh xeo came out it was the biggest I've ever seen! But it was rice paper thin and crispy! It's hard to find crispy bun xeo so this one stood out. We were also convinced to order the fish sauce chicken wings. They were super crispy and had a light batter on them. Sweet and sticky. Our total ended up being $70 which is steep for lunch. But the portions were large and everything was fresh and hot. I want to go back to try the pho. They also had some items you don't see normally. Like snails and other shell fish. read more

Amazing Vietnamese food and lovely atmosphere. Everyone was kind and helpful, especially My (gal in my pic waving). My was our server and does all else people/customer care. She was awesome. We had the yogurt, coconut drinks with real coconut meat that was delish, Tofu pho, spring rolls and fried rice. The location is so much bigger than what you'd see from outside and super cute and clean. Also, after running around all day in AZ 110 temps the super cool AC inside the restaurant was ultra refreshing and appreciated. So overall very comfortable and fun visit. We heard a lot of good reviews so drove the 35 minutes to try it and winner winner chicken tofu dinner in our book. Thanks and see you soon! read more

Came here on a Saturday night to attend a Vietnamese live music performance. They charge for admission and you order food at the counter. Can't really say much about the food because I only got drinks. They serve beer, wine, juice. The music was super loud that you could hear from the parking lot and screaming to my neighbor had me lost my voice. They really need to do a sound check. Felt like I needed ear plugs. The place is small like the size of 10 round tables that seat 10. Except they had round and square which made it hard to look at the stage. Not really a dance floor. Those who were into it were on the dance floor moving to tango, Belero, rumba and cha cha. I got a passion fruit ($7.99) drink and a can of soda ($4). I liked the fact that they use crushed ice. My passion fruit drink had the seeds and purée. If you love to dance, socialize, listen to live music, come to the next event. read more

If you are looking for authentic Vietnamese food this is the best in a Glendale/Phoenix area. We came yesterday for Bun Bo Hue and was not disappointed. I had an order to go. There's plenty of parking, lots of tables and a stage. Apparently they have live music sometimes, which sounds fun. I'm presuming you could probably have events here as well. I didn't call in my order ahead of time, but they still hurried with it and it was pretty good. They were very friendly. I ordered an appetizer and 2 kinds of pho. Appetizer: shrimp and bacon egg roll Bruh...so good. It wasn't too salty even with the bacon. Wrapping it in lettuce and mint cut some of the fat, and it wasn't overly greasy. It didn't come with fish sauce but they gave me a sweet chili sauce. No big deal, would have preferred fish sauce but still super tasty. Definitely will order this again. The pho broth is flavorful and has a lot of depth. It tasted pretty close to other pho broths I've had. With the to go orders, they do pack everything separately so the noodles don't get over saturated with the soup and turn gummy. They included the fresh veggies you'd expect. The rare steak pho looked good but it wasn't mine so I didn't taste it. However I believe the broth was the same for both bowls. The meatball pho was pretty good. It did taste pretty stand, but I was absolutely not disappointed. I always recommend getting pho if you're under the weather, and this place has good pho that's decently priced. Yum. Definitely come visit this place y'all read more

I enjoyed my dinner here when I visited. The place is big, and I was seated right away. The wait staff was friendly and told me to ask if I had any questions. The menu was massive as well, offering a variety of Vietnamese dishes. I ordered shrimp spring rolls and a vermicelli bowl. They freshly made the rolls, you can tell when the rice paper is soft and still a bit warm. I enjoyed the fresh ingredients in the rolls, and I appreciated that they put pepper in the peanut sauce. It brings a subtle kick to the dish. The vermicelli bowl was massive and had lots of fresh vegetables. Great bang for your buck and delicious too. I'd recommend coming here for authentic Viet food! read more

I'm shocked the reviews for this place aren't higher. This is my new favorite pho place by far. The broth is full of flavor. It's the only pho that did not need a spoonful of chili oil to make flavorful. Also they serve water with crushed ice which is PERFECT for a hot day. The service was fast. There is a stage and the building itself is pretty large. It's a nice venue. read more

Been coming here for a while. Plenty of seating available whenever we show up. Menu is huge. Finally found a place that has a good sweet and sour soup with braised catfish. Pho bowls should not to be forgotten either. Broth has an amazing flavor profile! Portion sizes are large so we usually leave with plenty of leftovers. Prices are reasonable and service is what you'd expect from a Vietnamese restaurant. Highly recommend! read more

Arizona doesn't have that many good Vietnamese spots, but Dong Que in Peoria?? both my Vietnamese parents actually approve, and if you know them... you know they're picky and can cook. You have to try the bánh xèo -- it's this crispy Vietnamese crêpe with shrimp, pork, and bean sprouts. So thin, so crunchy, so good. Their bún bò huế? Honestly the only one that comes close to my mom's. Even their phở -- which is usually my least fave Vietnamese dish -- is actually kind of fire. And I always get the ốc len xào dừa... it's escargot in this creamy coconut sauce and it's unreal. They used to have bánh khọt too, which was fabulous but... it's not on the menu anymore read more

We're Vietnamese, and the food tasted very authentic. Everything was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the service was great. They also have karaoke and plenty of space for larger groups, so it's a great place for birthdays, graduations, and other celebrations. We'll definitely be back! read more

It was really good! One of the best Vietnamese places in Phoenix! We ordered 3 different items and they all were delicious.

Hu tieu Nam Vang: 5/5, real quail egg!!! Not the sad canned ones. Other toppings are also quite authentic. The broth is good. I wish there was pickled garlic but anyway, it's good enough for me to come back for it. Pho: 4/5. Extra point for beef ribs. It needs to be stewed 30 mins more though. Not tender enough. The soup broth is good but it could use some more seasonings. read more

Service was fast and friendly. Staff was knowledgeable and had no problem to accommodate my request. Broken Rice and Pork Chop was excellent! Beef Pho was excellent and my husband feels like one of the best if not the best he's had in the valley. Egg roll was fresh, hot and delicious. The sauce was nice and spicy. Restaurant was clean and food was reasonably priced. Highly recommend to give this place a try!!! read more

My BFF's and I tried this place out. When we walked in, it felt like a school cafeteria. It smelled sour, and we couldn't figure out what it was until we were about to leave, and an employee brought out a mop bucket filled with the worst sour smelling mop water. And we still ate here, lol. I had the beef pho, the broth was OK, the beef was grisly. The shrimp and pork summer rolls were good. I do not recommend this place. I wish Yelp let me give them a zero. read more

Ambiance reminds me of home and it's really spacious inside. They apparently have live music on Saturdays and I love how their hours go late into the day for those who work. The food isn't that great, and the prices they charge are pretty high. $6 for coconut water and kumquat drink. The Pho Dac Biet has a beef rib in it, so they charge $13 for a bowl. The meat was dry, the pho broth tasted like it had goji/wolfberries in it (which is not supposed to be in pho) so it was strange. The night we went, they were out of so many things I ordered. They were out of wontons for my wontons noodle soup ($10), so they asked if I was willing to sub it out for BBQ pork, and I said yes. I didn't realize that they would then change my order to a BBQ Pork noodles and charge me extra for it ($12 or $13). Which, would not have been a big deal had the BBQ Pork been good. I actually ended up picking out all the BBQ Pork slices from my soup and discarding them because the meat was so dry and flavorless that it detracted from my noodles. Overall, the food is unimpressive and the prices are too high. Customer service was good though. read more

Seriously one of the most trash spots I've ever been to. I'm not one to complain about sanitation and little things. A single hair in my food? Yeah that sucks but it happens. Mexican hotdogs from a stand? Not technically USDA but it's cool. Point being, I'm not picky and I don't sweat the small stuff. We came with a family of 8 and we got 8 bad dishes. Only 3 of them were even any form of edible. LOOK AT THE PICTURE I POSTED. MEAT STILL MOO'ING AT ME. As we were leaving. We noticed the chef wasn't even wearing a mask while cooking. I wouldn't come here just for the pho. But their other dishes look good. They used way too much chili oil in the Bun Bo Hue. Yes I know it's a spicy noodles but that's all you tastes is the chili oil instead of a beefy broth. Service not so great depend of the day or person working? read more

We've finally decided to give this place a try after my siblings has recommended it countless time. We ordered the ốc len xào dừa (coconut snails) and the com chien bo luc (shaking beef w/ fried rice. The fried rice was delicious. I'm not sure what cut of beef they used but it was soft like a rare but was well cooked. The fried rice was also good, they drizzled the liquid gold that came from the beef - all over the rice. Then there were the pickled veggies which balanced everything out from sweet, salt and sour (in a good way). Finally a place in AZ that has coconut snail cooked right, though it can be more creamy - it's fine how it is right now as well (just a preference). Clearly the snail is frozen before hand but still tasted really good, definitely one of the items that we will be ordering again. I'm sure it'll save us a 5 hour trip to Westminster, CA. Final review: definitely will be back read more

I've been craving for Pho for two months now since I've haven't been home. I was determined to find a Pho place and was recommended by a lady at the bakery. When I got there, obviously, I were their only customer. There were like 6 workers. Pho doesn't taste great when you take it home so I asked if I can grab a corner table since no one is there. My pho came out steaming hot which I preferred. It reminds me of homemade pho. The broth was well seasoned and you don't need to add fish sauce to it. The only thing I didn't care for was their homemade meatball. Too dry for me. I also got the mangonadas. It's was so yummy! Never had a mangonadas in a pho restaurant before so it was a wonderful surprise it came out so good like the place I would get when I'm in Houston. Great service also! read more
