We just found our new pho spot in the west valley rather than driving to east valley for good pho! Broth is awesome and tasted like home cooked by mom/grandma. Spring roll is fresh and made on the spot rather than premade with hard texture of rice wrapping. Lastly, we got to know the owner and she is very humble and welcoming. She owns the one on 35th Ave and Camelback and just opened this spot up to expand. We plan on hit that spot up next as she makes some traditional dishes that my wife ask about . And best part is the price! Spring roll is $4.99 and dat biet is $15.99! Was going to stop into Chipotle next door but saw this had just opened back in June 1st so I decided to support a new local business. Restaurant was empty upon entering. The space however, was clean, modern, with a great atmosphere. Menu was quite extensive with pretty standard Vietnamese cuisine. As an appetizer, I opted for the pork and shrimp spring roll with peanut sauce. Being 100% transparent, both the spring rolls and the sauce were very bland compared to others I've tried. While the ingredients like the mint, lettuce, and the vermicelli noodles were fresh, the plate itself lacked a little flavor. For my entree I had the Shrimp, Chicken, and Eye Round Steak Pho. This was delicious! The broth was piping hot which I love. It was also light and fresh but packed with flavor. The noodles and the meats were perfection. I love dressing my pho heavily (hence the color change in the photos) since I love a good kick. I ordered a grilled beef banh mi for my partner to go and they were nice enough to ask if I wanted the veggies on the side so that it would be as fresh as possible for him. Overall great service and great food. As they are new, I'm sure they have some minor kinks to work out, but I can see myself coming back and eating here again. read more

Stopped here to have lunch with my dad. My family loves Pho and this place is perfect and close by! As soon as you walk in the aroma of the food smells great, you can either order takeout at the front or you just sit anywhere you like. I personally like the Vermicelli bowls. I order chicken and egg roll. It came in a big bowl with good portions of everything. My dad got the pork Pho which he said was good as well. Id totally recommend this place to others. I'm a huge fan of Pho Anan! The food is great, it is fast and everyone is extremely friendly. I've tried over half the menu at this point and I have enjoyed it all thus far. The only drawback I can see is that it is becoming more and more popular, means the smallish space can fill up especially during dinner. However, the food, as I said, is fast, so wait times usually aren't too bad. And if too daunting, I havealso taken my food to go quite a bit and can confortably state that it is just as good that way. Well packaged, everything I've taken to go has traveled well and been just as tasty when I got home. It has quickly become a place where I eat at least twice a week. Special shout out to Julie who's treated me like a long term customer since the second time I ate there. Always smiling and happy, she's amazing on the register greeting and helping customers. I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The place was completely unorganized, and staff who seemed unsure of what they were doing. When the food finally arrived, it was bland and lacked any real flavor. To make matters worse, the prices were outrageously high for such poor quality. Definitely not worth it. Awful experience. :( Went for my daughter's 25th birthday celebration. I ordered the round steak and brisket pho. It did not taste good to me. The broth had awful flavor and the meat had sour taste to it. I sent the pho back and asked to trade it for the vegetable pho. I was told I could not trade my brisket pho for the veggie, but that I could order the veggie pho and I would be given a 10% discount. My daughter is very uncomfortable with confrontation, and since it was her birthday, I let it go for the time being. I did call to discuss the matter and provide feedback with the manager once I was home. He talked over me and argued with me for 5 solid minutes saying that I should have asked to sample the broth before I ordered the beef broth. He said it is not their fault that I didn't like the broth, and they could not trade it for me after I ordered it. I personally have never heard of a situation where food had to be sent back because the customer could not eat it and was still charged for it. There are reviews on other platforms that mention the same situation. There are also replies from the owner, apologizing for the situation and stating that he will talk to his staff and make sure it never happens again. But it did happen again tonight. Decided to grab dinner at this new Pho place and it was the best decision I made all day! Place is brand new! Very neat and clean. Ordered Spring rolls as an appetizer and then ordered the Short Rib Pho (Bone In). This is probably the best Pho I've head in years! I recommend anyone to try it. Came in with my family of 4 and another family of 4 and fortunately them and the whole restaurant were actually served their food. My family sat waiting for more than 30+ minutes (for our food and drinks) while the rest of our party was already done eating. When bringing it to their attention, they were being rude and didn't even want to accommodate for our complaint even though we were being every respectful. Very rude. Terrible service.
