It tasted like weak, low-quality tea, to the point where I didn't even want to drink it. The service at the register was also lacking--the young man taking orders was quite rude and made us feel rushed while we were trying to decide. The two bowls of pho and the popcorn chicken have met expectations, like the standard, and unfortunately not memorable. The drinks are just the vessel for my beloved tapioca pearls. My drink was done in like 5-7 minutes, so pretty quickly. It was sweet but I can't imagine how much sweeter it would've been at full sugar level. I liked the Nutella taste and the boba balls were pretty good, slightly on the firm side. I was in the area and found this on yelp either great reviews. I had the freshly squeezed sugar cane drink, fish sauce wings, pineapple fried rice, popcorn chicken. ALL were very unique and flavorful. The sugar cane drink and the wings are highly recommended-these items you rarely find in restaurants. The popcorn chicken comes with a unique flavorful sauce. The pineapple fried rice I could've probably done without. I'd recommend going with the fish sauce combo plate with steamed rice (which I didn't order). The restaurant itself is cute with indoor or outdoor seating. You order upon coming in the find your table. They will bring the food to your table once it's ready. Came specifically for their BBH. I was happy about was the meat and pork hock!! All ingredients were there. The chili oil tasted home made. Broth flavor wasn't for me. Vietnamese coffee - mocha flavor condensed milk. Im a bit of a coffee snob so I prefer ca phe den with just a little condensed milk. I let the cashier know to take it easy on the condensed milk. Their pho is the best we have had in the West Valley. My husband always raves about it and he has been to quite a few restaurants. They have out favorite boba, and their drinks are tasty, even at 50% sweetness. The Taro and Queen Bee smoothies are the go-to here. The wings were fantastic. The sweet chili sauce that came with it was probably store bought-it had a weird aftertaste. It mostly tastes like salt and pepper shrimp wrapped with spring roll wrappers. Popcorn chicken, decent. You don't get a very big portion in comparison to other boba shops but it was still good, and the dipping sauce tasted like a peppery raising cane's sauce. I liked it. I have a rice sensitivity and he made sure that my Pho Special had no rice noodles and brought my order out first and let me know that it was mine. We ordered to go: - Queen Bee Smoothie with Boba - Matcha Milk Tea with Boba - Pho Special x2 with the raw steak cooked, one with no rice noodles - Chicken Pho - Chicken Fried Rice This was a nice comfort meal to end the weekend at home. We had so much fresh basil for the pho I was in Heaven and Hubs got all of my fresh jalapeño slices as well as his for the his pho. In fact, I drive by Bee Happy once a week and never realized it. Bee Happy is tucked away in the corner of a shopping center. This eatery is bright and cheerful. There is a wall with their logo and cute honeycomb tile for pictures. The wall is perfect for that quintessential Yelp or social media photo. Order at the counter. We stumbled upon this boba place while picking up pizza at Jet's. My fiancé saw an employee wearing a Bee Happy t-shirt at Jet's and decided we should try the place--very friendly service.
