This was a neighborhood gem for the past 10 years and it greatly saddens me that they are closing for good. I was a frequent customer during it's previous iteration as Yo&I and as Bubble Cups up until 2 or 3 years ago. Tonight was my first time back in years as I found out through a recent post in Yelp that it was closing. I stopped visiting due to personal reasons but I had to make a visit to try to catch the owner and tell her that the shop will be missed and that I was sorry to see them go. When we were in the area & I was in the need for a caffeine boost I stopped in for a mocha boba. There was a lovely young lady who was very friendly & patient with me as I was deciding on what to get! I ended up going with a mocha boba, but for me it was a tad too sweet! The cafe itself was very cute.. they had a cubby with some board games & such to choose from! This place is an old gem. I used to come here a lot back in the day and decided to come here recently for their house special drink. The drink was $8 but it's a big drink. They even have a claw machine now which is cute. I was able to win a couple prizes. I believe they have snacks too but never tried it. Service was fast overall. So I was feeling a boba drink and found this place open near my house. I ordered my drink (guava tea with strawberry popping pearls). Service was fine. No one was at the front when I walked in, and the guy in front of me waited a while for his popcorn chicken. So once I got up and ordered I sat down and waited about 5 minutes for my drink. It was brought up to the front but not announced so I had to go up and ask if that drink was mine. You can see the size of the drink. This is their large (a reg at other places I've been). You can see it isn't even the size of a normal boba straw. A large is only 50¢ more than their regular. As for the drink itself, it was mid honestly. I've had better and I've had worse. If you are shopping nearby this isn't a bad choice. But I would not go out of my way to come here. Their hours are nice as well. read more

This is a tough one because the ice cream fish cup was pretty tasty but it took like half an hour. When we ordered the cashier told us she didn't know if they could make it because the owner was the only one who knew how. Luckily the owner walked in and said she could make it but it would take 25 minutes. This boba shop has some diverse flavor offerings and toppings. Any place that has the sea salt cheese foam gets extra credit from me :). I ended up going with the mango fresh tea with cheese foam and boba. I also got a taro slush with boba. Both drinks tasted great and the taro was one of the better versions we've had in terms of not being too sweet. I liked their cup sizes and the cute designs on the lids. This tea spot is okay. The inside is clean, but felt dated and a bit cluttered (claw game machine, random tea posters, etc.). The tea and boba was about average, not the worst we'd had, but no where near the best. The young lady who assisted us was polite and helpful. I saw they had fish cones! So excited, but I couldn't get it bc they said it takes 25 min to make and I didn't have 25 minutes to wait. I'll have to come back for it. The soft serve is pretty good. I had the swirl with vanilla and taro. Yum! The texture wasn't as creamy as regular soft serve, a little more on the icy side almost as if there is a non-dairy milk used. It was still good. I like that it wasn't too sweet. We also got a strawberry milk tea with strawberry popping boba. I'm assuming it was good. Kiddo chugged it. The baby got Cookie Monster ice cream with Oreo crumbles. It was as good as expected. We also bought cake pops, haven't eaten them yet but they seem promising. They also have other snacks and macarons. There's video games and board games. Cute. The workers were very nice. I'd make a few recommendations: turn down the a/c when there's more people inside. The temperature was weird in here and people were smelling all sweaty. It just didn't seem like there's enough air flow. Maybe a ceiling fan or something would be good. I love this place. I have been bringing my kids here before the pandemic. We love that they have games. The ambiance is so chill. The employees are so kind and quick with our order. I'd been to Bupple Cuos once years ago and today while my son and I were out and about we decided to come back and check them out again to see if things were still good as it was then. The parking lot is large and shared with a grocery store as well as a few restaurants and such. It was easy to find a spot to park. The location is small, but has a good amount of seating and a few arcade games to play. It's bright inside so it makes it feel larger. I was excited to see Hokkaido Milk Tea on their menu as it's my favorite milk tea and a lot of the boba spots around don't carry it. I added boba of course. My son had the strawberry banana smoothie and strawberry ice cream. My milk tea was amazing and while I typically don't like the tapioca boba anywhere, but it tasted fresh and wasn't super chewy. My son said his smoothie was ok, but tasted more like straight banana. The Ice cream didn't have a strong strawberry taste either, but was ok. Service was decent, but nothing above and beyond. I don't venture to the west valley often but when I found out about this place, I made sure I paid it a visit...and that I did! I went on a weekday around noon to get a mid-day pick me up. I opted for the boba milk tea. You can adjust the sweetness and ice amount for each drink. They use real tea and real ingredients so that was great! My milk tea was great and I could really taste the tea, as it wasn't watered down by the ice or the creamer/milk. I often find that boba shops have the same generic taste. I'm not sure if it is the boba or sweetener used in the drink but I prefer the real thing...and that's what you get here! The boba was a great texture. It was chewy in the inside without being too mushy. Overall, it was a great experience! It's the best boba I've found in the west valley and I definitely know where I'll be stopping the next time I'm in the area! This place is an absolute joke! Fully agree it's not authentic in the least if you wanna come here for overly sugary crap drinks with boba totally go for it! Also they say you get a 3.5% discount when you use cash but it's a lie the menu is priced with this supposed discount already applied so everything you get is 3.5% higher which is a surcharge. Stopped by this little place after getting groceries - my strawberry milk tea had a little less flavor than the blueberry but was nice and sweet. I was a little confused about how to order and asked what kind of milk they used - I'm not a milk drinker so hopefully it's not dairy wasn't really given a great answer. I love boba but never get it, this impromptu spot did the job but wish I would have had my questions answered. Better signs and more personable staff would have made this a five star. Presentation is great - very cute. Inside was warm. I felt bad for the employees but there were guests in the lobby who didn't seem to mind. I ordered the house special Sea Cream Black Coffee which was Vietnamese Coffee with heavy cream on top. It was very rich, great drink. I also ordered the Pandan waffle which was nice since there are not a lot of Pandan options in the valley. However, it did not come with anything on top except a sliced strawberry and a chocolate drizzle so I requested some sweetened condensed milk on mine and they were happy to accommodate my request. Pandan is a plant from Southeast Asia, the leaf extract is added to cakes and other sweets. Definitely try it if you haven't already. On a second visit I ordered the Taro Smoothie which I really enjoyed because the ice was crushed until smooth, at some places you can still find large bits of ice in it. On the third visit I had the Hokkaido Milk Tea with boba, it's a black tea with cream and tastes like a fruity and floral tea with coconut milk, that doesn't even describe it well, just the closest description I can think of. Interesting flavor. Their boba was good, the drinks were on the sweeter end but it suited the drinks and the service was friendly. Good food and drinks! No complaints. read more

They were good, but not super memorable like the taro house special, which has egg pudding, grass jelly, and boba in it. Taro is my favorite flavor too, so double win.
