We decided to grab a few drinks here, but the experience left a lot to be desired. I ordered the…read moreWintermelon tea, which turned out to be extremely watered down. It tasted like weak, low-quality tea, to the point where I didn't even want to drink it. The service at the register was also lacking--the young man taking orders was quite rude and made us feel rushed while we were trying to decide. It seems like a Vietnamese restaurant that offers boba drinks as an afterthought, and it shows in both the drink quality and service. I definitely won't be coming back for their drinks.

The two bowls of pho and the popcorn chicken have met expectations, like the standard, and unfortunately not memorable. However, what really surprised me were the crunchy fried rice and the fish sauce wings. I don't mind ordering them again. I didn't order any drinks this time. I was just really bummed that I have to come back again for the second time for the shaking beef soup noodle now. One last thing to mention, the chair at the dining area was not really comfortable, which affected the dining experience.

After letting my thoughts of Bubble Cups steep, Im ready for my review!…read more This review might be biased because I actually won a toy from their claw machine in the back--something that has never happened to me before. I'm basically a claw machine legend now, so brew that into your thoughts as you read on... Bubble Cups was a boba-licious find for me. For years, I've been on a quest for the perfect boba spot, but all I found were places that were just... meh-verage. You know, the kind of boba that makes you go, "Eh, it's tapioca, I guess." But then, like a tea leaf prophecy, I stumbled upon Bubble Cups! I walked in, and the first thing I noticed was the game corner. It was calling to me like a siren song, but I had to boba-line it to the counter first. The cashier was as sweet as honey boba and super helpful--no bitter attitudes here! I can't remember how long the wait was because I got lost in the games. But before I knew it, my drinks were ready, and I was walking out with my boba and a prize like I had just won the boba lottery. If you are in the area and want some tasty boba, check out Bubble Cups!

I was a frequent customer during it's previous iteration as Yo&I and as Bubble Cups up until 2 or 3 years ago. Tonight was my first time back in years as I found out through a recent post in Yelp that it was closing. I stopped visiting due to personal reasons but I had to make a visit to try to catch the owner and tell her that the shop will be missed and that I was sorry to see them go. For the last hurrah, I made a large order for the following: Raspberry fruit tea x2 Hokkaido Milk Tea And my all time favorite - the Classic House Special The Raspberry and Guava fruit teas are currently buy one, get one free and all other drinks are buy one, get one half off. For my final parting words, if you are in the area or don't mind coming over this way, please visit them one last time before they close for good on Sunday, Dec 28. They have some amazing promos going as a final gift to customers and you will be supporting a local family that have been running this place. Thank you Bubble Cups for the years of great drinks to make my day a little more brighter. I hope to see you again soon someday!

Lee Lee International Market feels less like a grocery store and more like a love letter to the…read moreworld. In the West Valley, where the desert stretches toward the horizon, this place opens its doors and somehow makes the earth feel smaller. You walk in for a few ingredients and leave having wandered through a dozen countries without ever needing a passport. The abundance is almost overwhelming in the best possible way. An entire aisle devoted to noodles, shelves lined with teas that carry centuries of tradition, an eclectic produce section where purple sweet potatoes rest beside Asian pears, pandan leaves perfume the air, and every basket seems to hold a new story waiting to be cooked. Some of my favorite treasures are the bun bò Huế noodles, the purple sweet potatoes, crisp Asian pears, fresh pandan, and the endless array of fun drinks that always convince me to try something new. Every visit feels like a small adventure. And then there are the little surprises that make this place unforgettable: an incredible pho restaurant tucked inside, a jewelry shop sparkling quietly nearby, and families from every background filling their carts with pieces of home. What I admire most is that places like Lee Lee's do more than sell groceries--they preserve memory. They help grandparents pass recipes to grandchildren. They give immigrants a taste of familiarity. They invite curious people to discover cultures different from their own with open hands and open hearts. In a world that can feel increasingly divided, a market like this reminds us that one of the easiest ways to understand another person is to share what they eat, what they drink, and what they gather around the table. I am deeply grateful to have Lee Lee's in the West Valley. It is not just an Asian market. It is a crossroads of cultures, a celebration of tradition, and proof that sometimes the most beautiful journeys begin with a shopping cart.

Very bad news for vegetarians thinking they can come here and buy frozen mock meat products. They…read moredon't have any to sell. I spoke to the customer service guy, and he was politely vague. He said that the last brand didn't sell well and they put everything on sale to clear it out. He gave me an uncertain timeline of two weeks for a restock, but it didn't sound real. I am from out of town, and it's a two hour drive, and I came singularly for the frozen mock meat. I did walk the isles and they do have a lot of items to choose from that you will not find in a typical American supermarket, and I picked up some interesting sauces and condiments I hadn't seen before, which was good. Very, very bad was the bathroom. There was a pool of dirty water on the floor with a mop and pail. The latch on the single sit down stall was broken and I walked in on someone. The sinks are stained and dirty. The smell is bad and overwhelming. They need to clean it and wipe it down and fix the sit down stall latch. All in all, the store has a lot of asian products you will not find in supermarkets, they are comme ci, comme ça! ‍ on frozen mock meat products, and somebody really needs to clean their men's bathroom.

We loved it so much that we order extra boba as the consistency stands out every time. The size, texture, and chewiness of the boba are perfect, which is something a lot of boba spots struggle to achieve. They have an immense menu allowing you to treat your cravings. Despite being busy on a Friday night, service was accurate and timely. The ambiance also makes this place feel extra welcoming. There are several seating options including regular tables, high-top tables, even a couch area for lounging, and seating outside. I also really like how close this cafe is to Glendale Community College. Inside, they also have board games available and a claw machine, which gives the cafe a fun and cozy atmosphere whether you're studying, hanging out with friends, or just stopping by for a drink. Another huge plus was their macaron ice cream sandwiches, which I haven't been able to find at other competitors. They're located in the back and come pre-packaged in a cooler, but the texture is amazing! It is soft, chewy, and structured all at once. Our favorite flavors were vanilla, coffee, and strawberry. Due to limited boba locations in the Glendale area - this is our one stop shop. Definitely a spot worth coming back to! Two large iced Thai teas with extra boba ~ $17.55.

I was greeted right away and waited in line one person ahead of me. I ordered four items, a peach blended drink with boba (recommended by the lovely woman working), two Thai teas with boba (one iced one blended) and a lychee with boba. Since she was the only one working at that time, it did take a moment to get our drinks but was in no rush so wasn't worried about it. Sat down to enjoy the K-pop playing on the tv and watch the fish bowl in the center of the location. They have a cozy couch and a few tables and chairs, it's cute in there and I have enjoyed having a few boba dates with my daughter. There always seems to be enough space to enjoy with one or a small group. The drinks when finished were provided in a recyclable container / holder which was convenient since I was driving them back. The straws are big and ready for your boba and the flavors of all our drinks were so good. Especially the boba, so so good!
