This place's never disappointing. The food here is always delicious. The service is always friendly and efficient. The place is small but it always feels nice and cozy. We love to come for bun bo hue and fresh drinks here .
My favorite place to go and have been going here since they first opened. Their coffee jelly is Update: 2025 still it's my favorite place to go to for a drink!!! The place is just so calming and I can even work from there if I want to be out the office for a change of scenery!!! Everyone there is so amazing and give great suggestions if you don't know what to get!!! Still getting coffee jelly with every drink I get (if they have any)
Rating a 2/5 stars (based on presentation only). This review is only about how the drinks looked. They were not opened or tasted. I ordered 2 Brown Sugar Milk Teas with boba and no ice. The total was $18.18. When I received them, both cups looked underfilled. There was a noticeable gap between the top seal and the drink. Since I asked for no ice, I thought at least the cups would be filled much closer to the top versus how much they actually filled it. At nearly $9 per drink, the amount provided did not feel worth the price, in my personal opinion. Portion size was disappointing. Because of this experience alone, I do not plan to return.
This place popped up when I was visiting my parents' house. So I stopped by for a milk tea and fruit tea. GPS guided me there! It was tucked into a plaza and open the door. It is filled with some uniqueness and cuteness. They only had one staff taking orders and making all the drinks. There were already two people prior to me waiting. Then a mom and son was waiting in line in front of me. The guy did not make all the order yet, he took our orders and even took the other 2 people after my order. I got the Aloha Milk Tea with boba (Authentic milk tea recipe) and Hawaiian Fever iced tea (Passion fruit, pineapple and oolong tea). This place is clean, cute, they have some games, and good selection of drinks. The drinks itself is average. The 20 min wait was a little too long for drinks.
I love this place so much! Been coming here since they opened and it never misses! #nocap highly recommend the dragon fruit green tea with cheese foam and mango jelly straight fireeeee. Oh and they have Pho now!!!!
My first time here. I see a lot of good reviews about this place. I ordered jasmine milk tea with boba. I have lactose intolerant. I called to checked if they have lactose free milk option. They told me 90% of their menu drinks are made from lactose free milk. I have to come and check it out. I'm happy. I would definitely come back.
BEST boba store ever, first started buying here in 2020 and i havent stopped since. I lovee the drinks, if you like sweets id recommend it, the boba is so yummy and warm + the strawberry smoothie is a must. Ive also seen some ants in the store but i dont mind extra protein.
When you walk in you can smell the tea , delicious and the place looks beautiful and so calm. Plenty of room to sit. They have 2 tables with games one which me and my partner played and the other was a cool game better never seen if before , ordering was easy they have everything on the board, they also give you a sample of the aloha milk tea which was yummy. I ordered the Hawaiian fever tea I think and it was delicious , the tea was freshly brewed which made the tea taste sooo much better. Not overly sweet but enough. (I don't like sweet teas too too much) my partner got the brown sugar milk tea, that one tasted good but it definitely could have been better. Maybe add more brown sugar . Not bad. 5 stars regardless of the brown sugar cuz the flavor was still good. I can say it wasn't the best in the whole world but it was good. Definitely fills your craving for boba.
Drinks was yummy. Enough sweet not overwhelming like other places. The owner and his staffs are friendly. Big space, great decorations and clean
This isn't the best milk tea I've tried. This shop is located in a plaza on Glendale Avenue, and they offer a variety of drinks, such as milk tea and coffee. The interior has plenty of space and seating, and the staff is quite nice + helpful! I ordered the aloha milk tea with boba with less sweetness. When I got my order, I was quite disappointed. The boba was soft and chewy, which I liked, but the milk tea was really sweet and tasted rather artificial, like it was made from a pre-made powder -- I'm not talking about powdered milk, but rather the pre-made milk tea mixes where you just add water. I generally expect shops to brew their own drinks, and I usually find that it's a cop-out when they do this. I also did not like the large amount of ice in my drink and the fact that I could not adjust it. I might come back to try the Vietnamese coffee, but I would generally stay away from the milk teas.
Was in Glendale wanted to try this boba place. They sell some Vietnamese snack, appetizer and drink. I didn't think the brown sugar milk tea looks good and the taste of it is a little off, taro smoothie was good because it has a flavor. Customer service was awesome nice and friendly and I had ask them what they would recommend getting, recommendation is good too. The place feel really relaxing and it's a clean place. Everyone has its own opinion just try it.
I haven't tried any milk teas from Aloha yet, so I ordered the Strawberry Milk Tea w/ grass jelly! Comparing this to another boba place, it's not overly sweet, which I appreciate. Although, I wish the drink had a stronger and more natural strawberry flavor to it, rather than it tasting like sugared milk (good amount, compared to another place I mentioned), with a hint of strawberry. There are definitely better tea options for next time. Other than that, I give this drink a 6.5/10! Peep the cup's adorable seal. It's literally pink and Baymax from Big Hero 6!!!

I wanted some boba, and this place popped up nearby! The inside is really big with lots of seating and games! Every table had a connect 4 game on it, so fun! I also really loved the Hawaiian themed wall paintings. So pretty! The person working was super nice and helpful. I decided to try the Aloha milk tea with black tea base and added boba! It was everything I needed, perfect and refreshing for the hot day! This place also offered some grab and go items and had a large list of other drinks. I would definitely come back here! I'd also say it's one of the better boba places on the west side of the valley. read more

I'm visiting from the San Francisco Bay area. The best matcha milk tea I have had in a long time. I live in CA, near Little Vietnam in San Jose. I go over for boba, Viet coffee and teas often. I think Aloha tea beats out my fav tea place at home!!! I didn't get anything to eat, but the smells from the kitchen were delightful. If I have time, I may go back and get some Pho. The service was quick and the girl working was friendly. Cute little place, with tables to sit at and games to play. It would be a fun place to meet friends for a tea. read more

Was looking for some boba and ended up at Aloha Tea & Coffee. They have a fun little vending machine that my cousins got addicted to while we waited for our drinks. They have games and the tables + decorations are cool. The service was great, the person at register was patient while we ordered! The boba is sooooo yummy! I ordered the brown sugar milk tea with a matcha shot and the boba sold me. It was the perfect amount of sweet and chewy-ness and I could tell it was not overly rested. I'm not from the area but if they have a San Diego location, i'd definitely come back and try for more! read more
Came here since bobaholic was a 45 min wait and wanted to order the brown rice roasted oolong cheese foam with no sugar but their drinks are automatically 25% sugar except one section of their menu which was the cheese foam tea above the cheese foam special tea. See pictures attached. Not only did I want no sugar because the cheese foam provides the sugar component, I also wanted it hot. This seems to not be an option here. They do not allow ordering hot drinks with Boba due to straw concerns? I think it's also because they also don't have the lids for it since they use a regular hot drink cup so you can't put a straw in. Get ready for a $1 charge for hot drinks for only the regular size aka small? The cheese foam and drink itself is good. I drank it separately and mixed together. They served my drink separate from the Boba. See pictures attached for their tiny container with Boba. I poured the Boba into my drink. The Boba was soft and chewy as I expect for a Boba joint. Their menu is diverse and the employees followed up to ask if I liked it and to make sure I sip it from the top to enjoy the cheese foam. I did appreciate that a lot in the end. Overall, if you minus the difficulties in the ordering process aka don't make any specific changes, then you got yourself a solid Boba joint. But if you're like me and want to taste your tea and not sugared tea, you might run into some difficulty and extra costs associated. read more

I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. The cashier didn't rush me to order, I was given time to look over the menu before ordering. The checkout process was quick fast and efficient. The vibe was greeting and it felt like a place where you could get coffee and chitchat with friends. My order was ready fairly quickly. It's a family friendly experience. read more
I'm slightly obsessed with boba. A dear friend of mine and I pick different boba places we've never tried and test it out. I've had brown sugar milk from other places before and although they were good this place makes the best brown sugar milk I've ever had. I've been there 3 times now and each time I'm never disappointed. The service is good The venue is adorable and they have games at every table so you may entertain yourself and friends. They even have a kid section where they can sit and color and play games. It's truly adorable My sister ordered their tea with milk and she's extremely picky and absolutely loved it I can't wait to go back Maybe I'll get something else but probably not read more

Q: What do cows wear in Hawaii? A: Moo-moos! :'D And if you drink too much sugary drinks from Aloha Tea & Coffee, you'll be needing to wear a muumuu too(too)! A Purple Sunset (butterfly pea flower, kumquat, orange, and premium oolong) and Island Spring (kumquat, pineapple, and green tea) were ordered and shared between my friend and I. I admit that I wanted the Purple Sunset because itm looked Instagram-worthy but the Island Spring tasted a lot better. So refreshing! So the drinks aren't bad. I would love to come back and try the Brown Sugar Vietnamese Coffee Macchiato with boba but one of my favorite coffee shops is located in the diagonal corner of the same intersection. It's so hard to pull away! read more

Aloha Tea and Coffee Alvin the owner was very nice and friendly. Says the place has been open for about 3 months. Strawberry Smoothie was very good, thick and icy. Mango Green Tea was very good tasting with food flavor from fresh mangos. Aloha Green Tea, Alvin actually comped us on this to try and has a nice topping of frosted sugar mix. Nice inside with fun murals of Hawaiian beach and outline of Diamondhead to do selfies of post on your social media. Nice area for board games and kids stop to play. Drinks come in 2 sizes and are priced average to other places. Would recommend giving this place a try, nice workers, fun atmosphere and good drinks. read more
Love their selection of tea flavors! If you're looking for some unique combinations, definitely try this place! They also sell this scorched rice with pork floss that is addicting! If you've ever had sizzling rice soup and like the crispy topping, then get this! read more
The Vietnamese cheese foam coffee is a must try! I was a little skeptical as to how cheese foam would taste but it is actually really good and complements the coffee well! You can flavor your coffee with any flavoring. I had the caramel and I highly enjoyed it! read more

YUM! I got the dragonfruit green tea with honey boba and cheese foam. Absolute fire! I like how the boba was still slightly warm. It added it good contrast to my drink. Not too sweet either! The person who took my order was so nice, honestly had amazon customer service. And i side was a while vibe. 10/10 recommend. Thank you Aloha Tea&Coffee read more

I love all different types of boba teas. At Aloha, I tried the blue mint with cheese foam and boba. It sounded interesting and I had not yet tried anything like it. It sounds like an odd combo, but it was really good! The blue mint tasted like a creamy vanilla mint and the cheese foam added a little bit of tartness to offset the sweet minty flavor. The inside of the restaurant was very clean and service was also great! I would definitely recommend stopping in to try it. read more

EDIT: apparently all their drinks without ice look like this and "it's just common sense" soooo you be the judge of whether or not that's what you want when you pay $6. The owner messaged me privately and is super condescending so I def won't be back for that "free" drink *eyeroll*. ordered 3 drinks from this place and am a little turned off. I intended to store one of them overnight in the fridge so I ordered it with no ice.... take a look at the pic like come on! I understand giving less because ice takes up significant room but it didn't even come with any of the fruit in the picture and it just looks... sad. This is a $7 drink LOL. Haven't even tried it yet but just left a really sour taste in my mouth the way this business operates. The other two drinks are meh. My bf compared the strawberry milk tea to nesquick and the mango milk tea is way too sweet and sugary (we got both drinks 75% sweet). Heard good things about this place which is why we were super excited to try it. Sad to say it's a no from me. read more

Even the bobas are another level of good. My bf and I are just visiting az right now, and we have had a lot boba smoothies and this place really amazed us. Great tasting milk tea. I came in looking for a Thai Tea but was disappointed to find they did not carry that drink. The man at the counter advised me to try the "Aloha Milk Tea" he even gave me a sample. It tasted better than Thai Tea, sorta. I was happy that I could try something new and like it. It did take a bit of time to get my drink but that is understandable since there were 4 people ahead of me and o my 2 guys working the drinks. This place was clean and the workers friendly and polite (hard to find in Old Glendale). I was happy and will be back! read more

My first visit at Aloha Tea & Coffee. They had socially distanced tables with games to play. They had a lot of drink choices & add-ons. My Exotic Tropical tea was really good, it just took longer to make. I liked the peach slices included in the drink. You can also request sweetness level according to your tastes. My mom had the taro milk tea which she enjoyed. The boba was a little stuck together, but still the right amount of chew/softness. I would definitely have their tea again. read more
