I got the low down from a few of the GPD staff that they are consistently rated as one of the best cafes in the city, maybe even the West Valley. They have recently-ish opened up a second location in DT Mesa, which definitely fits their vibe. I was told the owner gets up early every day to bake - I love the dedication to his craft. Like many mom and pops, there are times when quantities are limited. So ofc I had to buy some baked goods to go for my work team! Their muffins are HUGE - like 2 -3 servings per *singular* muffin. I didn't know what I was getting into when I bought 6... hello carb heaven for us. I noticed a lot of sweet and savory options - croissant sandwiches, cookies, you name it. Definitely the muffins were well-enjoyed by all (PSL, lemon-blueberry, red velvet), and the general consensus was lemon blueberry as the winner.
