One of the main reasons why moving to Arizona from Southern California was difficult was because of boba! You honestly couldn't get better boba drinks anywhere else. After dinner one night Joyce W, Wilson L and I stopped by here for some drinks. The location was small, clean, well decorated, very welcoming. Just like a typical drink dessert place. The service was fast, friendly and professional. We ordered the Taro House Special. It was pretty decent. They had games and even arcade style games. Had to play Street Fighter Two and beat Wilson L. Like the good ole days. It's free as well! The loo was pretty clean, definitely could use more toilet paper and soap. The toilet is slightly more powerful then a house toilet. Really cute hole in the wall to get the best boba in Glendale. The boba is cooked thoroughly without being too soft. The jasmine tea with sea cream at 50% sweetness had mild flavors and pleasant creamy sips. The Cookie Monster and Matcha swirl sample was so delicious, I got the order in the fish cone. The cone did take 15 minutes to make fresh. The ice cream ended up melting after a couple minutes cuz the cone is so warm. A little messy and redundant flavor, but still fun to try once. read more

I gave 4 stars because we were waiting for 15 minutes for the Pandan Waffle (we looked at the receipt and what time we ordered it), my bf went to the counter and asked about it and after that the girl rushed into the kitchen, came back and told my bf that the waffle is gonna be ready soon. We've gone here repeatedly. We jokingly call it bubble butts. (Easy to remember). We are not close by, but we now drive all the way from I-10 several times a month to get their mango shaved ice with mango poppers. The shaved ice is not super sweet, i think it's milk tea that's been frozen then shaved, the poppers add sweetness and a tiny drizzle of sweetened condensed milk on top makes it just the right sweetness. My husband said that the mango was the hardest fruit ever and that the drink tasted weird. When I tasted his it had that weird after taste that mine had. I let my two year old have some but he said, "no mama. That's yucky!" I tried drinking it because I PAID $18! But I threw the other half away.
