One of the main reasons why moving to Arizona from Southern California was difficult was because of boba! You honestly couldn't get better boba drinks anywhere else. I am thankful that my group of friends are from Cali as well and they have a huge interest in boba like me! We were fortunate that this cute, little boba spot was super close to our campus/ apartments. We've been coming here fairly often and honestly I wouldn't trade it for anywhere else. Sure it's nothing like the ones in SoCal, but their Hokkaido drinks are on point!! I am willing to try other drinks they have here, but my favorite will always be Hokkaido. I order a large each time, with no add ons for $4.24. I see the same friendly, welcoming faces each and every time I come here! Pretty good boba spot! I tried the honeydew milk tea with sea salt cream. Solid honeydew flavor. It was More on the sweeter side, and the Person taking my order didn't ask if I wanted any ice or sweetness adjustments, which is an option that I found out about later. After dinner one night Joyce W, Wilson L and I stopped by here for some drinks. The location was small, clean, well decorated, very welcoming. Just like a typical drink dessert place. The service was fast, friendly and professional. We ordered the Taro House Special. It was pretty decent. They had games and even arcade style games. Had to play Street Fighter Two and beat Wilson L. Like the good ole days. It's free as well! The loo was pretty clean, definitely could use more toilet paper and soap. The toilet is slightly more powerful then a house toilet. A decent loo, definitely use it if you need it. Overall a good experience, don't see why we wouldn't be back. read more

Really cute hole in the wall to get the best boba in Glendale. The boba is cooked thoroughly without being too soft. The jasmine tea with sea cream at 50% sweetness had mild flavors and pleasant creamy sips. The Cookie Monster and Matcha swirl sample was so delicious, I got the order in the fish cone. The cone did take 15 minutes to make fresh. The ice cream ended up melting after a couple minutes cuz the cone is so warm. A little messy and redundant flavor, but still fun to try once. read more

They still have the same items but with the addition of some snacks and a sweetness gauge. Even their specialty drinks are the same! After reading my friend's review about this place (shout out to Joyce!), My bf and I decided to give it a try. I ordered their classic House Tea, my bf ordered the Hokkaido Milk Tea and Pandan Waffle. The classic House Tea was so good! It has boba, grass jelly and also custard pudding if I'm not mistaken, and the milk tea itself is Taro. That's such a perfect combo! I LOVE IT! And my bf also liked the Hokkaido milk tea a lot. I tried it and I agreed with him, it tasted good. It's not too sweet, I could taste a little bit of brown sugar, it was good though! I gave 4 stars because we were waiting for 15 minutes for the Pandan Waffle (we looked at the receipt and what time we ordered it), my bf went to the counter and asked about it and after that the girl rushed into the kitchen, came back and told my bf that the waffle is gonna be ready soon. I'm pretty sure they forgot to make it. But oh well. The Pandan Waffle was okay, nothing really special about it. I wanted to try out their fish pancake but the ice cream machine was broke. We've gone here repeatedly. We jokingly call it bubble butts. (Easy to remember). We are not close by, but we now drive all the way from I-10 several times a month to get their mango shaved ice with mango poppers. The shaved ice is not super sweet, i think it's milk tea that's been frozen then shaved, the poppers add sweetness and a tiny drizzle of sweetened condensed milk on top makes it just the right sweetness. I'd love to try other flavors but love the mango too much to give it up even once. Lol read more

We LOVE our local boba tea spot! We've been to many boba spots and sometimes the boba just isn't consistent. Anyone that has had a lot of boba KNOWS that it's not always "good boba". However, as many times as we've been to Bubble Cups... the boba has ALWAYS been delicious. Perfect texture, still in the round boba shape, and tastes fresh! We totally appreciate the consistency! And then we came back again the next day and ordered the green tea/Vietnamese coffee swirl. The waffle cone was so good we also ordered just the cone with some strawberries and chocolate syrup. Long story short, we've become regulars! It's conveniently close to us which is always a plus. Honestly I wanted to love this place! But it was just ok. The drinks tasted like chemicals. A lot of people were ordering to go orders and when they walked out I was excited to get my taste buds dancing. Yet, they didn't. Their presentation is awesome! It looks delicious but the do not use fresh anything. I got a taro, strawnana and a mangonada smoothie with light boba and omg it was not good. Sadly, $18 went to the trash. My husband said that the mango was the hardest fruit ever and that the drink tasted weird. When I tasted his it had that weird after taste that mine had. I let my two year old have some but he said, "no mama. That's yucky!" I tried drinking it because I PAID $18! But I threw the other half away. I give two stars because the people were really nice and amidst this COVID ordeal they look like they had a nice set up with games and music. Looks like a good teen hangout.
