The location is small but spacious at the same time, with a couple of tables, couches, and seating areas that you can hang out at. It appeared like there was only one employee taking and making the orders, but he was very nice and quick to make everything. The menu is massive and appears to have plenty of possible customizations. I ordered a Large Brown Sugar Iced Milk Tea with Brown Sugar boba, and it was pretty good. With boba, each drink cost around $8. Overall, this was a nice discovery close to home! read more

Thank you so much to Jessica S. for setting up this Elite UYE! I was so excited to finally meet Jessica IRL and to learn more about boba tea. It was awesome to see HoyMay P. as well as meet with other Yelp Elites. Royal Boba Tea is located in the Basha's shopping center on W. Waddell Road and Reems Road in Surprise. It's located near a nail salon, Baskin Robbins, and Subway. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They answered my many tea-related questions. I finally decided on the Royal Passion Green Tea, which was delicious. I would definitely order it again. The menu is huge, so I will have to visit again when I am in the area to try more options. We had not one but two types of pizza - Barros and Reel Pizza Pies. Both were excellent. Barros has a thicker crust and Reel has a thin, New York style crust. I was happy to try them both. I had the pleasure of checking this out last Sunday & I was beyond impressed. The space is amazing, bright, inviting, & relaxing. The service is phenomenal. Patient & help you figure your life out when ordering which was helpful because I had never been to a boba store before & never ordered one before either. Ok, I know I didn't order boba this time but I was nervous & went for the Roasted Brown Sugar Milk Tea w/o boba. The picture was pretty & it sounded perfect. I was given the option of boba or a topping, I opted out but will definitely give it a try next time. I definitely got the roasted flavor & wasn't sure if it was rice milk or another type of milk. I probably should have asked but didn't think about it. It was delicious whatever the milk was. I noticed fresh donuts but opted out this time. I will say I was beyond surprised when I was at Sunrise Donuts a few days later & discovered it was the same owner. It made me feel very proud for her to open this other store. I really enjoy seeing small businesses, especially woman owned small businesses, grow. I did have one small suggestion/idea for the novice boba drinker. Maybe have steps on how to order. I enjoyed a good afternoon meeting other Elites. This was my first time here. Jessica is amazing. My 2 daughters joined me. One daughter got the double blend tropical (watermelon and lemonade) with regular boba and whip cream. She said it was really good and all the flavors complimented each other well. The other daughter ordered the double blend strawberry banana with whip cream added, no boba this time. She said as soon as I took my first sip, I realized that they did a phenomenal job with blending the two fruits together. It tasted like exactly what I anticipated and then some. Just the right amount of flavor and can't wait to try others on the menu. Even though the weather was nice out I wanted a warm beverage. The Horchata Lattee is delicious! Yum! Maybe next time I'll opt for a cold drink with boba. It's cute and cozy with a nice decor. The prices are good and it's in a great location. It's clean with a welcoming atmosphere. Try them. Got a boba tea from here and ended up with a hair in it. As you can imagine not something you want to pull out of any type of food. I called them and clearly the customer isn't right. They told me it was impossible for a hair to be in my drink. They were clearly distracted as well having a young child run around behind the counter. DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

Came here wanting to try there boba drink. They had donuts and alot of varities of popping boba, boba and crystal boba. I had the tiger boba, the boba was a little hard wasnt soft , think either they didn't cook it long enough or its old boba taste alittle to milky . My fiance had taro peach poppin boba, and it was good. Customer service was ok, don't know why he has a mask on tho (not sure). Its not mask manadate, can barely hear what he saying.the place is a good size and they have alittle jumper for kids just a 3 or 4 tables that you can sit and hang out. read more

Had a great time with some local Elites in the valley for an UYE event. Boba places are not the same. We are so blessed to have a killer location in our community like Royal Boba. Royal Boba welcomed our large group in. They allowed us to bring in and eat pizza there as well. Our awesome Elites were so kind and fun. They were thoughtful to other customers coming in and made plenty of room for them. Hanging out long enough and with the girls in tow I was thankful to learn there was a public restroom for customers. It was a joy to meet some local Elite hipsters and their family members as well. I love celebrating wonderful businesses that are extra special. Our Elites work hard for their families and on Yelp to support others so it is always a treat having these UYEs giving a little something back. I only tried the Honey Dew flavor so far and it tasted yummy. Flavorful and nicely blended with the smoothie version and also just the liquid drink option. The Boba balls are not the nicest I've had. I'm new to Arizona so I'm still trying to find my Boba Tea spot. The Tapioca pearls are hard and chewy. You can't even taste a flavor difference between the regular brown sugar boba and their regular boba. Presentation is cute but I'm looking for my tapioca pearls to be soft, melty, and chewy in my mouth. The regular crystal boba was yummy. Still pretty chewy and hard. I've been patiently waiting for this place to open and while the kids, their friend and I were out and about we decided to stop by and check it out. The parking lot is large and shared with a few other businesses including Bashas. I was pleasantly surprised when we got inside that it was bright inside and the menu large. There were two full size tables, as well as a smaller cozier couch type area. When we reached the counter no one was there, but after a few minutes a young man appeared to help. You have no idea how excited I was to see their large selection of milk teas; especially the Hokkaido Milk Tea which is my favorite. It was an added bonus they also had fresh honey boba. The kids all chose different items. My daughter chose a tea with two types of popping boba, my son a watermelon slush with boba and their friend a mango smoothie. My boy of course caught sight of donuts and so we ordered a dozen donut holes. Prices were ok, but a large runs about 6$ and if you want additional boba that's extra. We took a seat and waited. Once our drinks were ready they called them out to pick up at the counter. Mine was perfect. It was flavored perfect , smooth, right amount of ice and the boba was fresh and consistency great. It was not chewy/rubbery like other boba spots who don't make theirs fresh. My kids really enjoyed theirs as well. My son did say his watermelon slush was a tad sweeter than he'd like, but not enough to stop him from drinking it. All in all it was a good stop. read more

Great boba spot! Service was nice and very clean place. My husband got the peach smoothie with lychee jelly and I got the taro smoothie with crystal boba. It was honestly one of the best smoothies I've had! My husband got me a small and i wish he got me a large cause it was that good lol. I go here more often because my usual place is closed on my days off work, but they have WAY more flavors and ways to enjoy your drink- milk tea, blended, flavored tea, fruit smoothie etc. They also have a variety of popping boba and jellies for those who dont like traditional tapioca pearls. They have food too, but i have yet to try any. The atmosphere is a bit awkward because they dont have speakers in the small cafe so theres an unfortunate lack of music, and the room has a loud echo, but we normally just sit to wait for our drinks before going home. zero stars this place is so bad it's not even funny I ordered a drink and the guy literally just put syrup in water and the Boba came out have cooked in hard. but kudos to the kid working there. the owner should take more responsibility in teaching their workers how to properly make drinks. this place did not earn my trust and my business. maybe if more effort was put into the drinks this place might actually be worth considering again. not only that my partner broke out in hivs. please for the sake of your children do not go here read more
