Lots of options, even eating gluten sensitive and low carb. Love the chicken kalot(?), dinner specials, and the soups. The Mongolian is good too. GF always gets the sushi and is happy with it. Lots of sauces including chili paste, ponzu, chili garlic, soy sauce, etc. Hosts and servers are always friendly enough. The vibes aren't necessarily stellar unless you're seated in the booths around the edge of the man part of the restaurant, but it's a huge, low priced buffet with lots of options and a ton of seating. Went with family last night, from QC to PHX. Let's just say this was about an hr drive from where I reside. When we arrived, we got seated right away. I mean the place was big. When you walk in, the buffet is right there behind the front desk. Yes, it was mostly a chinese buffet but there's one item on the array of foods that I liked a lot. It was a bit too spicy for me and it was Cajun sauce with potatoes and I poured the sauce in a container and made my way and grabbed some snow crab legs and crawfish and made my own seafood boil lol Pros: They stack the crab legs and crawfish Although the Crawfish didn't have any flavor (I would suggest dumping it in the cajun sauce with potatoes) Cons: It was an hr drive to PHX and the traffic.. The parking situation: It was packed. Some people stood and secured their space.. which I think is unfair but do what you must. Just luckily we found parking in front of the entrance. I write this with a much trepidation that my lovely wife will discover my review and be less than supportive. I come here because she loves it. Do keep that in mind, there are those who love it. This is a basic sea food buffet, but it isn't just sea food, it includes Chinese American, pizza all kinds stuff. The stuff isn't particularly flavor full, even things like Kung pao chicken is pretty basic and not thst flavorful. Not that the foods bad, it's not! It's.......fine. Like the little lunch stuff at QT. The staff is typically friendly, although service isn't that great. They have no need to interact with you much. I don't go to buffets for gourmet food. I go for quantity and variety. But Harbor Seafood Super Buffet does have some very good items in additional the many decent ones. I was very impressed with the sushi--both the variety and the taste. I'd come here for the sushi alone. But there's lots more to try. The overwhelming majority of the dishes are Asian, with a tiny smattering of other offerings. Quality varied--the BBQ pork was very good, as were the sauteed mushrooms and the green beans. Some dishes fell flat, but there were plenty of things we enjoyed. The service was basic but friendly, and the decor was a little cheesy, but fun. Drawbacks: The restrooms were not very clean. Also, instead of the traditional buffet soft-serve ice cream, they had single-serving ice cream and sherbet in a freezer case. Overall, next time we're in the mood for a buffet, I would go back to this one. read more

Came here for dinner with my fiance. Some food was cold and some were just warm. There's alot of varieties of food, soup,sushi,hibachi,seafood and dessert. I didnt think its all that. Crawfish didnt have that much taste and the roast beef was very chewy and cold. Service here wasnt all that great waiter and waitress doesn't speak English well and they have a hard time communicating. Restroom women and men absolutely needs attention. Is all I can say. Ambience, as you walk in theres a pond, its like any other buffet place. I wouldnt come back. I just thought I was in the area to try this place. Don't knock it until you try it!! For $18 this is the real bang for your buck! There was a good variety of food from Chinese, hibachi, sushi, and fried foods. My favorite has to be the hibachi and sushi with lots of choices. If you're a fan of buffets like my family is they all said this is the best of buffets we have ever gone to because of the variety and price! It was super crowded when we went at 7PM, so it can get loud and rowdy inside. The staff is nice and always checking on us. Give it a try if you're in the area! read more

So, i went into this place having really low expectations, knowing that buffets are usually only OK or not so good. But this place actually had really good food. I thought it was really cool how they had raw meat out and you put it on your plate and they cook it for you. And also, first time having escargot...at a buffet? I'm not a big fan of buffets as most buffets I've been to basically offer the same thing. However, this is definitely one of the few buffets that offer a wide variety of seafood dishes, including sushi! They also offer a BBQ/Grill, soup, dumplings, fried food, American food (like pizza, fries for the kiddos) if you're not a fan of seafood! Most buffets taste bland but this is one of the few where I found the dishes to be seasoned well The food is constantly stocked fresh. I love this buffet! All items were delicious! Everything from chicken wings to Chinese spare ribs was tasty. The fried dumplings were especially good. Their sushi is fresh, diverse, and plentiful. Their grilled to order bowls are amazing and have lots of sides to choose from. You get so much for one small price. They have a huge open area dining room with a couple of widescreen TVs that have closed captioning (I hate it when restaurants don't have the close captioning turned on!). There's plenty of parking and there were a lot of people for this midday, lunch crowd. The servers are plentiful and attentive. I'm bookmarking this one for the next time. Sorry but this is just another Chinese buffet. Yes it was clean, service was average, and the food was exactly like every other Chinese buffet. The one positive was the sushi was above average. If you know the area, you know. If not, be prepared to deal with the homeless population sitting outside the door and in the parking lot. Walking into this restaurant, you immediately see the buffet tables; everything looked delicious , and plentiful!! We sat down, and got our drink orders put it, the lady didn't like that we ordered water, and she was rude about it. we all went to get our food, and seeing the tables full of sushi, crab legs, a stir fry station, seafood, salad bar, soups, lots of Chinese selections, and desserts. Some of the items we couldn't eat that we picked like the oysters, snail, and some other random items because they smelled really off, or tasted badly. I had the delicious lunch buffet. An outstanding variety of: Japanese, Chinese, and American food. I didn't eat every item. There are approximately 5 rows of food. While leaving with a full belly, I am already thinking of coming back again tomorrow. The sashimi pieces are HUGE, too big to swallow in one bite. Oysters are fresh, sweet, and abundant like a hill. This is one of the better seafood buffets in my opinion. Staff are efficient and kind. Food Bins are filled on a regular basis. There is a very good selection of food. We love the sushi and poke area. A ton of different sushi types are offered and continuously made. The poke area offers spicy ahi, salmon and regular ahi. I like the Mapo tofu; slightly spicy and tasty. Several different fishes, soups, stir fry area, desserts, beef & chicken dishes, several large & small shrimp dishes, pizza, fries, veggies. Just about all you want. Come hungry, leave full and happy. They have their own parking lot. read more

Went with a large group of friends for Sunday "linner" and wow was it busy.luckily I'd made reservations. Tons of small children, so needless to say the dining room was quite messy. The staff are super busy, so drinks can be a challenge. What an array of food, don't think I've ever seen such a thing. I don't care much for buffets, it's so hard to keep the food at a safe temperature while keeping it moist and appetizing. With that many people, the food moved fast so this wasn't much of an issue. And they were really fast at refilling the food. On a side note, I witnessed a lot of gluttony surrounding the crab legs. Two people basically emptied a fresh pan of crab legs while others stood by waiting their turn. I got a few small legs but there was barely any meat in them, definitely not worth the work of breaking the legs. Maybe that's why those 2 took so many legs! I can't believe it but the best item I tasted was the sushi, it was good. They had a huge bowl of Wasabi! My bill was just over $20, I really can't imagine how they make money at this restaurant. First time here. My son-in -law was going for dinner with the grandkids and asked if I wanted to go. The place presents as clean, we are seated immediately. There is an abundance of selections. We got our drinks quickly, but it was difficult to get a refill. As for the food, it is obviously frozen food that is thawed and cooked, or sliced for sushi. And because of this as I sampled a wide selection of what they offered, I found most things tasted somewhat off or didn't have much of a flavor. Now I will say my son- in- law likes this place. I think it's because he is more interested in the value of being able to eat an unlimited amount than the quantity or taste. And the grandkids seemed to enjoy the food. Also, there were obviously a whole lot of people who were eating and waiting to eat. But for me, I want much better food when I go out, so I think I'll pass next time I'm invited to eat here. read more

Fabulous buffet! Best I've had since moving to Arizona 10 years ago. The choices are amazing, everything was flavorful. I refrained from any starches until my last plate so I could enjoy their delicious varieties of meats, fish, seafood, fruits and veggies. I skipped dessert too.
