    Food from the buffet.
    Roger F.

I write this with a much trepidation that my lovely wife will discover my review and be less than supportive. I come here because she loves it. Do keep that in mind, there are those who love it. This is a basic sea food buffet, but it isn't just sea food, it includes Chinese American, pizza all kinds stuff. The stuff isn't particularly flavor full, even things like Kung pao chicken is pretty basic and not thst flavorful. Not that the foods bad, it's not! It's.......fine. Like the little lunch stuff at QT. The staff is typically friendly, although service isn't that great. They have no need to interact with you much. As for Ambiance well....It's also not in the best neighborhood, aaannnddd you can tell! Lock your car, hide ya daughter hide ya wife.... well you know the rest. Stay strapped and.....enjoy? I guess.

I don't go to buffets for gourmet food. I go for quantity and variety. But Harbor Seafood Super Buffet does have some very good items in additional the many decent ones. I was very impressed with the sushi--both the variety and the taste. I'd come here for the sushi alone. But there's lots more to try. The overwhelming majority of the dishes are Asian, with a tiny smattering of other offerings. Quality varied--the BBQ pork was very good, as were the sauteed mushrooms and the green beans. Some dishes fell flat, but there were plenty of things we enjoyed. The service was basic but friendly, and the decor was a little cheesy, but fun. Drawbacks: The restrooms were not very clean. Also, instead of the traditional buffet soft-serve ice cream, they had single-serving ice cream and sherbet in a freezer case. Overall, next time we're in the mood for a buffet, I would go back to this one.

Came here for dinner with my fiance. Some food was cold and some were just warm. There's alot of varieties of food, soup, sushi, hibachi, seafood and dessert. I didnt think its all that. Crawfish didnt have that much taste and the roast beef was very chewy and cold. Service here wasnt all that great waiter and waitress doesn't speak English well and they have a hard time communicating. Restroom women and men absolutely needs attention. Is all I can say. Ambience, as you walk in theres a pond, its like any other buffet place. I wouldnt come back. I just thought I was in the area to try this place. Everyone has different taste and different opinion but I wouldn't come back here if im in town.

Don't knock it until you try it!! For $18 this is the real bang for your buck! There was a good variety of food from Chinese, hibachi, sushi, and fried foods. My favorite has to be the hibachi and sushi with lots of choices. If you're a fan of buffets like my family is they all said this is the best of buffets we have ever gone to because of the variety and price! It was super crowded when we went at 7PM, so it can get loud and rowdy inside. The staff is nice and always checking on us. Give it a try if you're in the area!

My dessert. (Donuts, tapioca pudding, orange chicken, 1 single cantaloupe slice, and some ice cream)

So, i went into this place having really low expectations, knowing that buffets are usually only OK or not so good. But this place actually had really good food. I thought it was really cool how they had raw meat out and you put it on your plate and they cook it for you. And also, first time having escargot...at a buffet? Really clean, really nice staff, honestly, i love this place.

Be honest, this is the best Chinese buffet I ever had. Depending on the price , the food are really good quality and tasted good . Crawfish is fresh that I was shocked about it . Highly recommended it .

Walking into this restaurant, you immediately see the buffet tables; everything looked delicious , and plentiful!! We sat down, and got our drink orders put it, the lady didn't like that we ordered water, and she was rude about it. we all went to get our food, and seeing the tables full of sushi, crab legs, a stir fry station, seafood, salad bar, soups, lots of Chinese selections, and desserts. Some of the items we couldn't eat that we picked like the oysters, snail, and some other random items because they smelled really off, or tasted badly. Egg drop soup was good, and my family liked the crab legs. my husband loved the Honey Walnut Shrimp there too. Restaurant was super packed, seemed clean, and tons of food options.

(Looking on-line, Lin's Grand Buffet appears have multiple restaurants in the Phoenix area; we visited the location on E Baseline Rd). This is a gigantic buffet, both in terms of the quantity and variety of food. In addition to rows and rows of entrees, noodles/rice, soups, salads, desserts, etc., there's also a Mongolian BBQ station and a counter with sushi. There was even a tray with enchiladas! My husband and I agreed that Lin's had some of the best tasting Chinese buffet food that we've ever had. Plus, given the large number of patrons, the food was hot and trays were replenished regularly. I particularly liked the pork dumplings (with a hint of fresh ginger), pepper shrimp, and breaded and fried zucchini (just like mom used to make!). My husband's favorites were beef and broccoli, cream cheese rangoons, and apple pie topped with vanilla ice cream. Unfortunately, the Mongolian BBQ was a fail for me. I filled my plate with a great variety of vegetables (bean sprouts, zucchini, cabbage, peppers, onions, garlic, etc.), noodles, and some chicken and beef, and then turned it over to the chef at the grill. When I picked it up a few minutes later, my fresh stir-fry was close to black in color because the chef had added a huge amount of soya sauce during the grilling process. I've been to other Mongolian BBQ restaurants that allow you to add your own sauces to your bowl before giving it to the grill chef; that would've been preferable in this case. I don't believe in wasting food -- but the only way that I was able to eat this was by adding more noodles to lessen the per-bite overbearing salty taste. Service was excellent. Our waitress was attentive, even refilling our ice waters before we asked, and efficiently taking away used plates. The restaurant was tastefully decorated and clean. The parking was free and plentiful. The value of the lunch buffet is excellent -- $14.99/adult before taxes and tip. Seniors aged 62 and above also get a 10% discount.
