    Food from the buffet.
    Roger F.

I write this with a much trepidation that my lovely wife will discover my review and be less than supportive. I come here because she loves it. Do keep that in mind, there are those who love it. This is a basic sea food buffet, but it isn't just sea food, it includes Chinese American, pizza all kinds stuff. The stuff isn't particularly flavor full, even things like Kung pao chicken is pretty basic and not thst flavorful. Not that the foods bad, it's not! It's.......fine. Like the little lunch stuff at QT. The staff is typically friendly, although service isn't that great. They have no need to interact with you much. As for Ambiance well....It's also not in the best neighborhood, aaannnddd you can tell! Lock your car, hide ya daughter hide ya wife.... well you know the rest. Stay strapped and.....enjoy? I guess.

I don't go to buffets for gourmet food. I go for quantity and variety. But Harbor Seafood Super Buffet does have some very good items in additional the many decent ones. I was very impressed with the sushi--both the variety and the taste. I'd come here for the sushi alone. But there's lots more to try. The overwhelming majority of the dishes are Asian, with a tiny smattering of other offerings. Quality varied--the BBQ pork was very good, as were the sauteed mushrooms and the green beans. Some dishes fell flat, but there were plenty of things we enjoyed. The service was basic but friendly, and the decor was a little cheesy, but fun. Drawbacks: The restrooms were not very clean. Also, instead of the traditional buffet soft-serve ice cream, they had single-serving ice cream and sherbet in a freezer case. Overall, next time we're in the mood for a buffet, I would go back to this one.

Came here for dinner with my fiance. Some food was cold and some were just warm. There's alot of varieties of food, soup, sushi, hibachi, seafood and dessert. I didnt think its all that. Crawfish didnt have that much taste and the roast beef was very chewy and cold. Service here wasnt all that great waiter and waitress doesn't speak English well and they have a hard time communicating. Restroom women and men absolutely needs attention. Is all I can say. Ambience, as you walk in theres a pond, its like any other buffet place. I wouldnt come back. I just thought I was in the area to try this place. Everyone has different taste and different opinion but I wouldn't come back here if im in town.

Don't knock it until you try it!! For $18 this is the real bang for your buck! There was a good variety of food from Chinese, hibachi, sushi, and fried foods. My favorite has to be the hibachi and sushi with lots of choices. If you're a fan of buffets like my family is they all said this is the best of buffets we have ever gone to because of the variety and price! It was super crowded when we went at 7PM, so it can get loud and rowdy inside. The staff is nice and always checking on us. Give it a try if you're in the area!

My dessert. (Donuts, tapioca pudding, orange chicken, 1 single cantaloupe slice, and some ice cream)

So, i went into this place having really low expectations, knowing that buffets are usually only OK or not so good. But this place actually had really good food. I thought it was really cool how they had raw meat out and you put it on your plate and they cook it for you. And also, first time having escargot...at a buffet? Really clean, really nice staff, honestly, i love this place.

Be honest, this is the best Chinese buffet I ever had. Depending on the price , the food are really good quality and tasted good . Crawfish is fresh that I was shocked about it . Highly recommended it .

Walking into this restaurant, you immediately see the buffet tables; everything looked delicious , and plentiful!! We sat down, and got our drink orders put it, the lady didn't like that we ordered water, and she was rude about it. we all went to get our food, and seeing the tables full of sushi, crab legs, a stir fry station, seafood, salad bar, soups, lots of Chinese selections, and desserts. Some of the items we couldn't eat that we picked like the oysters, snail, and some other random items because they smelled really off, or tasted badly. Egg drop soup was good, and my family liked the crab legs. my husband loved the Honey Walnut Shrimp there too. Restaurant was super packed, seemed clean, and tons of food options.

We paid in advance as most buffets do, $18.95 per person plus 3.95 per drink. We were taken to our table and our drink order was taken. Just looking at the buffet was enough to make me regret this decision. Orange colored Lo mein noodles, some sort of fish dish in between the "orange chicken" and the "spicy chicken". "Sautéed sausage and jalapeños" in a "Chinese buffet"? This we BAD Mexican Food, BAD Chinese food fusion. Everything on the buffet had previously been frozen and cooked, you could tell by the pool of water that most of the food sat in. Nothing had any flavor whatsoever so ever. If this was the only place to eat I have a feeling I would starve to death. Once back home in Tucson things didn't get better. I give the one star only for the waitress who kept our tea glasses full, which if there is any bright star about this place, was actually a good glass of tea. My recommendation, Avoid at all cost unless this is the ONLY place you can get food, which with 2 excellent steak houses right next door is highly unlikely.

Some of the standout items for us were the mocktails and the pasta. The Pillows of Love pasta absolutely lived up to the hype and was one of the highlights of the meal. We also enjoyed the mac and cheese, mushrooms, steak, and seafood. Everything was beautifully prepared, high quality, and worthy of the restaurant's reputation. If I had one minor critique, it would be the king crab legs. They are char-grilled, which gives them a smoky flavor that wasn't quite our personal preference. That said, the quality of the crab itself was excellent, and it's more a matter of taste than a criticism of the preparation. SENTRY - WATCHING RESTAURANTS…read more Lin's Grand Buffet 3955 E. Baseline Road Phoenix, 85042+ Companion and I wanted to try a new Chinese buffet, and Lin's came to mind. We had heard both positives and negatives about it so it was about time to make up my own mind. We arrived at 5:00 and were seated immediately. The buffet looked interesting with about 6 rows of items to peruse. Companion went first and when he returned I got a plate and began my tour. First item on my plate was the seafood boil. Crawdads, shrimp, mussels, corn on cob, potatoes and lots of cajun spice. If it had been hotter it would have been wonderful. Next I started down a row of hotel pans, picking those items that seemed interesting to me. Shrimp in various incarnations, beef and broccoli, pork egg roll, potsticker, sticky pork rib, velveted pepper steak with onions, and a couple of pieces of sushi. The shrimp was nicely cooked and the pepper steak was tender and properly cooked. The sushi was unremarkable and the egg roll was soggy and without merit. The potsticker was nice as was a piece of fried banana. Sanitation in the food areas was excellent with counters being wiped down as needed. I also noted one of the chefs in the Mongolian BBQ area wiping down the tiles on the wall, which was quite impressive. However, not all was great. Food was tepid at best and while I did not have a thermometer with me my estimate was that none of the food was over 100 degrees. The restrooms were a different story. The ladies room was properly clean and appointed with nothing but a few drops of water on the floor by the sink. However, companion went into the men's room and took a picture for me. It could not pass any type of inspection by any person. Normally I would have handed my companion my ultra violet light which I use when checking bathrooms, but why waste the batteries? The place was filthy and the toilets were terrible. No use to stand upon the seat, the crabs in here can jump six feet! Companion remarked that it was disgusting and he forgoed using the facility. Our bill for 2 was $36.11, which is about what other buffet charge, however, I've eaten at much better buffets for this amount. 3 stars
