The crab boil mix is spicy comes with corn and the potatoes as usual. The service is on point however, one time I feel like the server felt like I was overdoing it and gave me my check before I was ready lol I was going in. The sushi is pretty good as well and overall the ambience is legit. Everything seems clean and before I ended I also get the hibachi beef that they make fresh in front of you as well. You can put anything you want in your bowl and they have ice cream for dessert as well as your run of the male fruits and sweets. Definitely recommend this buffet. It's the only one I go to.

They can be identified by their crust. The Spring roll has a light, crispy crust. It is Asian. The egg roll's crust is darker, thicker and in some cases larger. They also have two types of other dishes. Chow Fun, a very thin rice noodle is available. So is Lo Mein, a soft cooked wheat noodle. The later is American. There are many varieties of chicken, and soup. They serve dumplings and have a Sushi Bar, and two dessert bars, one with fruits and the other with cake and ice cream The trays are always kept full. The food is fresh. What puzzles me is the two out of three phenomena. In this case they have enchiladas (delicious!) and rice but not beans. In other Asian buffets they serve Kielbasa with cabbage but no potatoes. Do they simply not know? I have no answer. It appears that no one checks them during the day. The same paper towel that was there when we entered, was still on the same place on the floor when we left. A dirty towel on the floor is not such a serious flaw that it would change my rating to any less then five stars. The food is good, it is fresh. The trays are always filled with many varieties of fresh food.

Other interesting thing is the tables are not your usual old beat up wood but I noticed they were marble-ish....which gave the feeling of a more clean & crisp ambiance. They also have great lighting. Amazing Restaurant!…read more All amazing people of Phoenix, if you have not gone to this phenomenal restaurant yet, you really need to. This is one convenient, high quality, extremely flavorful Chinese place that me and my husband visited today. It was just high quality all the way! When we arrived it was quiet. Superbly clean, neat and tidy. Cute decor and a nice inviting vibe. We were sat at a table and given our menus. Prices were really good. Especially when you get the quality of food that comes out of that kitchen. Our waitress was super-nice. Which is hard to find these days. She was so nice to everyone who came in. When we sat down, a lady who wasn't too sure about the place came in asking all kinds of questions. And she patiently answered each one as if she was a close family member. A homeless guy came in asking for water. She jumped right up to give him a HUGE cup of ice and water and was so kind to him. Then other patrons came in to order and pick up food and each one, regardless of age, ethnic makeup, what they were wearing, all were greeted so warmly. Huge smiles and a constant giving and warm attitude all throughout. We were treated just as good. And for us that is very rare. We ordered a lot of various things. A cold cucumber salad, a hot appetizer, a couple of main dishes. Then the absolute most amazing signature steak on the Chef's Speciality. WOW. The salad and appetizers came out first. Salad really cold and refreshing. Super crisp and cut nicely. Amazing flavor. Then the appetizers were super hot and fresh. Not oily. Bursting with flavor. Then the mains came. Everything cooked perfectly. The flavors of each dish just screaming at my taste buds. Enjoyed every bite. Then they brought out the steak for my husband. So juicy. So tender. And the sauce in the side just added to the flavor. We savored every bite. The quality and temperatures and flavors are off the chart. We could not finish all this bliss in one sitting, se we asked for boxes and containers. She gave us many to separate everything and a bag to haul it home in. Always asking if we needed anything else and being authentically polite. This place should be packed. You are missing out if you have not tried New Hong King Restaurant. Amazing service. The restaurant itself is so cute and has such a charming feel, so I was hoping the food would be just as impressive. Unfortunately, this visit was a bit of a miss for us. The noodles were very hard in texture and unfortunately lacked flavor. The fried rice was also disappointing -- I expected the usual fried rice with some vegetables and flavor, but there weren't any veggies, and the rice itself was very hard and bland. We also tried the sweet and sour chicken, which didn't have that classic sweet, tangy flavor I was expecting. It was pretty bland, and unfortunately, the chicken tasted a little off to me, so I didn't end up eating much of it. I really wanted to love this place because the reviews are so positive and the restaurant is adorable, but based on this particular takeout experience, the food just wasn't for us. Maybe we caught them on an off day, but unfortunately, I don't think I'd be rushing back. Cute restaurant, but the food definitely missed the mark for us this time.

I have tried the Pornstar Martini, Illicit Affair, and Smell the F*@king Roses (my favorite). The appetizers we tried were the tuna tartare and the hibachi crudo. Superb! The entrees are delicious although the lamb chops and the short rib bolognese were a bit salty. The bolognese is definitely different than the typical. The branzino and filet mignon were tasty. Sides including the whipped potatoes and Mac and cheese were also good. We also enjoyed the coconut cream pie with a birthday candle for dessert, but I will say for the price we paid for the entire meal, the dessert should have been comped for the birthday.
