Tasty fried chicken wing and bacon. Coleslaw with vinegar and carrots & raisin salad no bueno.
Tisha R.

Celebrating a Sweet 16 at the birthday girl's favorite restaurant. Our server, Maday, was excellent and attentive. She provided great service. Of course I checked out the menu in advance. I decided I'd only get an omelette and bacon. The cook knows what he's doing. Oh my goodness. That omelette with bacon, onions, green peppers and both yellow & white cheese was DELICIOUS!! A customer came up while my omelette was being made and ordered an omelette in Spanish. I asked what was that. He said spinach. There was no spinach visible. However, I asked if he could add half of what was in the guy's pan. Anymore wouldn't fit. lol I should've stayed away from the buffet after that. The coleslaw is made with vinegar. No thank you. The carrots & raisins tasted funny/spoiled. No thanks. I went back to the buffet to see if there were fried chicken wings or drumsticks. The last wing looked better than the last drumstick. It was tasty. I got a few more strips of bacon. I should've passed. The salt was getting to me. A third visit to the buffet was so so. The Breakfast Pizza was quite tasty. The Bacon Hashbrown Bale is a no and stayed on the plate after one taste. The "dessert" I picked up was labeled incorrectly. I like bananas so ate a little more than half of the muffin. I was pleased that I didn't go overboard. Next time, omelette, little bacon and Breakfast Pizza if they have it. I liked this location better than the restaurant closer to me. It was more welcoming and spacious. They keep the tables clean with clearing the dishes. Did I already say the omelette was delicious? I started the review with four stars but this visit was worth 5 even though I did not go to the restroom. I didn't want to risk it.

All the food was great, I had 2 full plates with steak and BBQ chicken with all the sides. Service was nice, courteous and fast. The ambiance was smooth and chill. It was Wednesday night and poppin off.

The grime is so deep you would need a putty knife to remove it. If the front of the house looks like this what's going on in the kitchen?

And so found myself leaving the rig in the receivers yard, and I came out here to what many say is the best Buffett in Phoenix. So I'm going to agree on that statement. For 20.00 on a weekdays, you can have quality at almost every food hot bar in this joint. Their Cajun Shrimp and Corn are spot on. Not Boiling Crab level but far better than many Buffett places across the country. The Beef ribs is straight up Chinese influenced, sweet, sauce drenched in five spices, cinnamon, bay leaves, rock sugar and cloves--- a first in a Buffett setting 滷lu牛niu肉rou braised beef. And for a plate of on the spot hibachi pasta.......this is by far the best hibachi spaghetti Mongolian beef plate I've had in ages. I've almost completely forgotten Buffetts actually taste good and with the value here in Phoenix, you just can't find a spot like this in LA anymore. Not even sure Vegas has any of these Chinese Seafood Surviving Buffetts either. Definitely on my recommend list for price to quality to value for a super Buffett! The vibes aren't necessarily stellar unless you're seated in the booths around the edge of the man part of the restaurant, but it's a huge, low priced buffet with lots of options and a ton of seating. When you walk in, the buffet is right there behind the front desk. Yes, it was mostly a chinese buffet but there's one item on the array of foods that I liked a lot. It was a bit too spicy for me and it was Cajun sauce with potatoes and I poured the sauce in a container and made my way and grabbed some snow crab legs and crawfish and made my own seafood boil lol Pros: They stack the crab legs and crawfish Although the Crawfish didn't have any flavor (I would suggest dumping it in the cajun sauce with potatoes) Cons: It was an hr drive to PHX and the traffic.. The parking situation: It was packed. Some people stood and secured their space.. which I think is unfair but do what you must. Just luckily we found parking in front of the entrance. Best to back up park, so you can easily get out of the complex

We've been a few times for lunch and dinner. Service is good and the staff does a good job of keeping the tables and buffet area very clean. As far as the selection goes they have seafood, including crab legs that seems to be popular. Some dim sum type dishes, veggies, popular Americanized Chinese dishes, Chinese meat dishes, Mongolian bbq area, bbq short ribs, salad bar, sushi bar, dessert and fruit bar, etc. I'm not super adventurous and stick to what I like which is ALL 10/10 in my opinion: salt and pepper chicken wings, grilled corn on the cob, pan fried dumplings, wonton soup, and spicy crab hand rolls. The food tastes like someone cares, and it's kept fresh and rotating instead of sitting there dying under heat lamps. This is one of the few buffets where I don't feel like I'm compromising quality just because it's a buffet. The garlic naan deserves its own paragraph. It's legitimately great, and it's dangerously easy to keep grabbing just one more piece. Easily one of the highlights and clearly something they do right consistently. Menu-wise, the usual favorites show up for a reason. Chicken tikka masala, saag or palak paneer, biryani, vindaloo. Portions are generous if you order off the menu, and they're generally willing to adjust spice levels if you ask. Service is friendly and straightforward. There were 3 other patrons in the restaurant. All the servers and other employees were at the hostess stand and there were 4 of them. A bartender could tell visually that our drinks at that point were almost empty. However, we were not her customers Fair enough! However, at 4:15 pm I would expect our server to have come back to check on us. Also, not begrudging employees working double shifts. But, 2 other employees eating wings in the bar. All things forgiven if I had gotten decent service. I was going to eat dinner. But, given the service climate. I decided to cut my losses and pay for my beverages and leave . I would have commented to the Manager on duty if one has been visible. I have been to other locations of BobbyQ's and had a great experience. It's just a shame the employee's and management at this location don't care. Even though this location is only 3.5 miles from my house. I doubt I will be back. It might be a while, but will go to the 27th ave location. Good luck with this location You might want to fix your service challenges or you might go the way of Zen Burger. People will only put up with so much even if the food is exceptional. Don't rest on your Laurel's.

Just looking at the buffet was enough to make me regret this decision. Orange colored Lo mein noodles, some sort of fish dish in between the "orange chicken" and the "spicy chicken". "Sautéed sausage and jalapeños" in a "Chinese buffet"? This we BAD Mexican Food, BAD Chinese food fusion. Everything on the buffet had previously been frozen and cooked, you could tell by the pool of water that most of the food sat in. Nothing had any flavor whatsoever so ever. If this was the only place to eat I have a feeling I would starve to death. Once back home in Tucson things didn't get better. I give the one star only for the waitress who kept our tea glasses full, which if there is any bright star about this place, was actually a good glass of tea. My recommendation, Avoid at all cost unless this is the ONLY place you can get food, which with 2 excellent steak houses right next door is highly unlikely.

We parked on the top floor of the parking garage and for whatever reason, the elevator took a while to show up and take us down to the casino floor. We almost used the stairs. But we did get there, and it was kind of close to the starting time of the concert too, but it was easy to get into the venue area with our rewards card. They had food for sale, but we skipped it (it smelled wonderful) and headed to the concert area, which was just an open area next to the 5 story parking garage, bordered by the service roads accessing the parking garage and laid down with short astroturf. The performance stage seemed kind of small, and the seating area seemed just adequate (many of us who showed up not-early had to stand), but it got the job done. The folding chairs were quite padded, which was nice (we did get a seat maybe 2/3 of the way through the concert, when a group of people left). Even for Bruno Mars (777 was the name of their tribute group), the average age of the audience seemed to skew pretty high, with a sea of white hair. But we all had a good time, even if we didn't get out of our seats or dance until the very last song. The only difficulty was this particular night had a very chilly wind blowing constantly and I didn't have a jacket with me, so I was quite cold. We jetted out of there just after the last song, and we were able to traverse the casino and parking garage and exit quickly and easily. I had wanted to roam around the casino after the concert, but I was so cold and tired from the wind (it felt like a whole bucket of dust had been wind-blown into my eyes), that I just wanted to go home after. Too bad a casino of this size can't do an indoor event, but I was still glad I went. Next time if the weather is better, I'll spend more time in the gaming area. :)
