LINS LINS is located in the Metro Mall. They describe their cuisine as American Chinese Food. For example they sell the Egg Roll which is a American version of Spring Roll. They can be identified by their crust. The Spring roll has a light, crispy crust. It is Asian. The egg roll's crust is darker, thicker and in some cases larger. They also have two types of other dishes. Chow Fun, a very thin rice noodle is available. So is Lo Mein, a soft cooked wheat noodle. The later is American. There are many varieties of chicken, and soup. They serve dumplings and have a Sushi Bar, and two dessert bars, one with fruits and the other with cake and ice cream The trays are always kept full. The food is fresh. What puzzles me is the two out of three phenomena. In this case they have enchiladas (delicious!) and rice but not beans. In other Asian buffets they serve Kielbasa with cabbage but no potatoes. Do they simply not know? I have no answer. If you want to know what is in a tray before you look at the frame, above the food tray. The content of each tray is listed on the label above it. Look up--it is high up on a little white tab. To the right of the Shushi table are fruits. If you want cake and ice cream head to the Habaci table. They will be to the left. The bathrooms appear clean, but neglected. It appears that no one checks them during the day. The same paper towel that was there when we entered, was still on the same place on the floor when we left. A dirty towel on the floor is not such a serious flaw that it would change my rating to any less then five stars. The food is good, it is fresh. Came here for an yelp event. All elite members were seated in a room with goodies on every table. It was open seating and right on time the event was kicked off. I have to say that it was a great offering from the restaurant. Overall great experience and food quality. Here are my takes: Food/Drinks: The variety and the quality is too good. Tons of sushi options, live mongolian beef stations, soup, desserts etc, whatever you can think of in asian food is here. The restaurant manager did say they have around 100 options to eat. Came with soft drink choice options. I would love to try these again. Service: Our server was nice and very attentive. The staff in general is very nice. We have at least 2-3 staff dedicated for us and they checked/cleaned on regular intervals. Ambiance: Great interiors and vibe here including that you will see in restroom. They have plenty of seating indoors. Hygiene: It's a new spot so everything was very clean and tidy. No complaints at all. The location with surprise you. Came in on a Saturday afternoon, and I can easily say this was a good choice. The selection for a buffet is pretty standard, and with people constantly coming in, the food is all fresh and hot. Unfortunately it also has the same shortcomings of those other buffets, where majority of the food is fried or over seasoned. There was sushi available, but even though it did look clean with families constantly taking from there, I didn't want to risk eating that at a buffet (too much rice/carbs would fill me up before I got my fill of protein). Probably my favorite food choice is the fact that at their Mongolian grill station, they're also grilling steaks. Would recommend this place though, great service with drink refills and servers constantly going around taking away dirty plates, very family friendly, and great for those indecisive people because you can just make your own place. read more

My family & I have been here 3 times in the past few weeks while we're living in the area temporarily. For the cost it's a very good buffet. There is plenty of seating, the place has appeared clean (other than some dust high up on the ceiling.) They surprisingly have a lot of Chinese food options to choose from. They have sushi section that they are replenishing regularly. The grilled steak (they are very thin, but seasoned) & Mongolian grill areas have been my favorite. The service is always friendly & fast. The only area that is kind of lacking is the dessert area which has some like sysco brand sheet cakes, baby Bundt cakes (not good) & some ok soft serve ice cream. There was a short line to be pay and be seated, but it moved quickly and efficiently. Our server was friendly and kept our drinks filled and plates cleared. This location is an amplified version of your local Chinese buffet. In addition to typical Chinese buffet offerings, they have sushi and made-to-order hibachi. They also have a limited selection of American grub mixed in with the buffet. Another new restaurant another new review. After being unable to go to Texas Roadhouse and Longhorn steakhouse due to incredibly long lines, we decided on Lin's Grand buffet. We paid in advance as most buffets do, $18.95 per person plus 3.95 per drink. We were taken to our table and our drink order was taken. Just looking at the buffet was enough to make me regret this decision. Orange colored Lo mein noodles, some sort of fish dish in between the "orange chicken" and the "spicy chicken". "Sautéed sausage and jalapeños" in a "Chinese buffet"? This we BAD Mexican Food, BAD Chinese food fusion. Everything on the buffet had previously been frozen and cooked, you could tell by the pool of water that most of the food sat in. Nothing had any flavor whatsoever so ever. If this was the only place to eat I have a feeling I would starve to death. Once back home in Tucson things didn't get better. I give the one star only for the waitress who kept our tea glasses full, which if there is any bright star about this place, was actually a good glass of tea. My recommendation, Avoid at all cost unless this is the ONLY place you can get food, which with 2 excellent steak houses right next door is highly unlikely. read more

We headed down here last Friday afternoon for lunch. How was it? Lunch Buffet- Pretty impressive! Better than I thought it was going to be. I stopped by with my family to Lin's Grand Buffet and this is our second time here. The food is amazing! We love it and will be coming back. The service is pretty average. Our server was not super attentive but still okay, we still would come back regardless. The prices are pretty decent as well, for myself, my husband, and our son with fountain drinks came out to $67. You get unlimited food and dessert. Any other place we go to we would spend around $80-$100 if not more and it's not unlimited, it is just for one entree each and maybe an appetizer. So definitely a good bang for your buck here and like I said the food is actually pretty darn good! They have so many selections! The ambiance is pretty nice as well, there is some areas where staff need to clean up and re fix but kinda hard at a buffet where everyone is grabbing everything and sometimes messes happen, it's nothing to crazy, to me it was actually pretty decent! I love the Mongolian Grill area, the food is so tasty! If you have not tried this place out, I highly recommend you do so! Their broccoli and beef is delicious, the fried rice and chow mein also very good! The bourbon chicken is also amazing! If you want more seafood options then I would go to the competitor buffet - seafood harbor buffet across the street. My parents love going to Seafood harbor and since this one just opened we decided to give it a try. I did like how there is a self serve soft ice cream machine with cones here. This was the best thing in my opinion of dessert as most Asian buffets don't have the best desserts. It was lunch time when we went and it was busy. I have been eyeing this buffet ever since it was under construction and recently heard from co-workers that it was finally open. We came on Sunday morning and the dining area was already packed. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of parking and seating but lacks natural lighting and is very dark in decor. After we were seated by our host, we were free to fill our plates and stomachs. There was an array of Chinese cuisine, fried foods, sushi, and desserts. I sampled most of each item and the stand-outs were the broccoli beef, salt and pepper shrimp, and BBQ ribs. This buffet has slightly less variety compared to other Asian buffets. It was mostly chicken options just served differently with another vegetable. The chicken was tough, the fried fish was bland, and the hot and sour soup was so peppery that it was extremely hard to ingest. When we finished eating, we witnessed a homeless man pacing around the buffet stations picking up fries with his bare hands and then opening and touching every single sweet potato. The staff were aware but did not address the situation. I decided to give this place a try because it was new, but I don't see myself coming back. If I had to choose, I would rather go to Harbor Seafood Buffet across the street. read more

Eeeyyucck, and I LOVE food. Each dish was underwhelming in flavor and texture. The best dish was definitely the Mongolian BBQ station and the bourbon chicken. I didn't even bother to try the sushi for fear of getting sick. The service was quick, but I do have to ask, why were we sat in the busiest section when there were plenty of other seats available in a less crowded area. There are not many buffets in the Phoenix Metro area and their main attraction seems to be the price point, not necessarily the quality of the food. This buffet is an exception. It is inexpensive but food quality is really good, dining areas are very spacious and very clean, and the service is very efficient. Like all big buffets, there is a main dining area, a Mongolian Grill area, a sushi bar, salad bar, and dessert bar. This buffet is conveniently located in the Metro Center area with lots of parking. This was my first time at Lin's Grand Buffet. First off as you enter you prepay before being seated. For us being seniors we were given a 10% discount. I must tell you that it has been a while since I have eaten at a buffet. The place is kept very clean and the seating area is nice and roomy. The waitress brought over our drinks pretty quickly which you order as you pay ahead at the front. Not sure whether I can give an ample review on their food as I didn't try everything but I did try a bit of every item I could fit into my dish. Some items were dry but the items I really enjoyed were the pineapple chicken, orange chicken and the peppered steak were delicious. I didn't go to the sushi area as I was getting a bit full. The grill was open but I didn't try that either. They have plenty of every kind of food for you plus plenty of desserts to pick from. The place was pretty busy but again it was the after lunch crowd so I can't compare. The parking is not as big but again there are other restaurants within walking distance from Linn's. I just wanted to try Linn's since it's opening about a couple of months ago. Whether I return, only time will tell. The Metro Center area will eventually get a new different look and will again be bustling like years ago, that is the plan so to speak. read more

Review date 12/2/2025 Used to be really good when they first opened Up in March 2025. The food was hot fresh you could tell the meat was just cooked. Maybe because it was a high turnover there there were so many people going there. Now it's kind of no different from any other buffet place half of the food isn't that warm. Some of the chicken is actually hard and cold in the different dishes.. I used to really like the pineapple chicken but now it's like chewing on a chicken jerky. The cucumber salad in the salad area looks like it's been sitting in that bowl for months. They need to slice the cucumber thicker It's just a soggy mess. It doesn't even taste like cucumber salad.. I was just in there today and it looked like they had mixed fresh or cucumbers in with the cucumbers. It just looked disgusting. One thing I can't say it's pretty good there and very fresh is the sushi. Sushi is very well presented. They have attendance making fresh sushi all the time.. Across the street there's another buffet place that is just as good as lens really good sushi really good food and they're actually a little cheaper Honestly, I would choose the cheaper of the two because of food is pretty much identical My photos and video from the first time I went in March when it was actually very good Now I could just call it mediocre or same as any other buffet place the food still half cold some of it isn't very fresh really I give it a mediocre $19 for lunch with a drink. This also means the restaurant was loud with a lot of folks enjoying themselves, so just come hungry, eat and chat in the car later. Lin's has a lot of choices, similar to a takeout buffet. Very generic, but for the price, this AYCE is ...food. I was warned about the seasoning after I went to Lin's. So this must be a case of differing preferences. I don't want to taste 1/4 teaspoon of salt with each bite I have. Then again, my diet and taste buds haven't fully acclimated to the desert lifestyle since moving from Bland Bay Area.
