Grilled steak area just to the left of the Mongolian grill area June 2026
    Ben A.

My family & I have been here 3 times in the past few weeks while we're living in the area temporarily. For the cost it's a very good buffet. There is plenty of seating, the place has appeared clean (other than some dust high up on the ceiling.) They surprisingly have a lot of Chinese food options to choose from. They have sushi section that they are replenishing regularly. The grilled steak (they are very thin, but seasoned) & Mongolian grill areas have been my favorite. The service is always friendly & fast. The only area that is kind of lacking is the dessert area which has some like sysco brand sheet cakes, baby Bundt cakes (not good) & some ok soft serve ice cream. Not a bad spot at all, we'll definitely be back

I stopped by with my family to Lin's Grand Buffet and this is our second time here. The food is amazing! We love it and will be coming back. The service is pretty average. Our server was not super attentive but still okay, we still would come back regardless. The prices are pretty decent as well, for myself, my husband, and our son with fountain drinks came out to $67. You get unlimited food and dessert. Any other place we go to we would spend around $80-$100 if not more and it's not unlimited, it is just for one entree each and maybe an appetizer. So definitely a good bang for your buck here and like I said the food is actually pretty darn good! They have so many selections! The ambiance is pretty nice as well, there is some areas where staff need to clean up and re fix but kinda hard at a buffet where everyone is grabbing everything and sometimes messes happen, it's nothing to crazy, to me it was actually pretty decent! I love the Mongolian Grill area, the food is so tasty! If you have not tried this place out, I highly recommend you do so! Their broccoli and beef is delicious, the fried rice and chow mein also very good! The bourbon chicken is also amazing! They have a grilled steak area as well, you have to ask the staff working the Mongolian grill area to get a steak and it's a sirloin steak, they will ask you how you would like it cooked. They also have green beans with onion and garlic and those are so tasty! They have egg drop soup and my man loves it! They also have stuff for the kids like pizza and french fries, sweet and sour chicken, wings! They have salad options as well. Which was also very good! They have tons of sushi options and they have shrimp and some other seafood selections as well. They have tons of fruit which all looked and tasted amazing! They have pudding and a great selection for dessert and an ice cream machine, you can get your ice cream in a cone or a cup. No complaints at all. Very well done Lin's Grand Buffet! This is one of the better Buffets we have been too. The food is good quality.

My first plate of food. Chow mien was a bit greasy, but everything else was solid!

My buddy and I were going to get some lunch, and he suggested a Chinese Buffet. I had to Yelp some spots, and this one came up and had pretty good reviews. We headed down here last Friday afternoon for lunch. How was it? Lunch Buffet- Pretty impressive! Better than I thought it was going to be. The place was incredibly clean and had workers constantly stirring dishes, cleaning up dirty plates etc. Efficient operation! The food was tasty! The chow mien was a bit greasy, and the desserts were not that good, but everything else was solid! Great orange and kung pao chicken. Decent egg rolls, fried shrimp. Tons and tons of options! If you can't find something you like here, you are in trouble! Would I come back? Yes! Definitely! It was super reasonably priced ($17.00 or so for lunch) and the food was good!

Went to lunch at Lin's Grand Buffet at Metro Parkway, a buffet chain with over 15 locations across Arizona, Texas, and California. It is known for its wide variety of food options, including a sushi bar, a Mongolian grill, and classic Chinese dishes. I really go to Chinese buffets for the seafood, and Lin's has a very nice selection and a great sushi station. I found everything to be super fresh and appealing. They also have a shrimp boil available, which I really enjoy, as well as many of the classic Chinese dishes most people look for. Lunch price is $14.99 with 10% off for seniors. Dinner is $17.99. Carryout is $8.29 per pound.

    Dessert section! Ice cream machine!

Lin's Grand Buffet is a nice clean buffet that serves hot foods. If you're looking for a buffet that serves hot food, I would come here for sure. If you want more seafood options then I would go to the competitor buffet - seafood harbor buffet across the street. My parents love going to Seafood harbor and since this one just opened we decided to give it a try. I did like how there is a self serve soft ice cream machine with cones here. This was the best thing in my opinion of dessert as most Asian buffets don't have the best desserts. It was lunch time when we went and it was busy. The servers were doing a great job taking care of customers.

I have been eyeing this buffet ever since it was under construction and recently heard from co-workers that it was finally open. We came on Sunday morning and the dining area was already packed. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of parking and seating but lacks natural lighting and is very dark in decor. After we were seated by our host, we were free to fill our plates and stomachs. There was an array of Chinese cuisine, fried foods, sushi, and desserts. I sampled most of each item and the stand-outs were the broccoli beef, salt and pepper shrimp, and BBQ ribs. This buffet has slightly less variety compared to other Asian buffets. It was mostly chicken options just served differently with another vegetable. The chicken was tough, the fried fish was bland, and the hot and sour soup was so peppery that it was extremely hard to ingest. When we finished eating, we witnessed a homeless man pacing around the buffet stations picking up fries with his bare hands and then opening and touching every single sweet potato. The staff were aware but did not address the situation. I decided to give this place a try because it was new, but I don't see myself coming back. If I had to choose, I would rather go to Harbor Seafood Buffet across the street.

We arrived for their Grand Opening. There was a long line as expected, Staff worked fast to get the line moving. We only waited 15 mins max. This was clean and the options are great. It is spacious and restrooms are well help. I won't lie, it's a hit or miss when it comes to buffets, but I would come here again.

Their food is consistently the same no matter how busy it is, most recently during a heavy dinner hour - prime time. TVs with a game on, servers moving about, and a steady stream of to go orders. We had King Pao Chicken, Beef with broccoli and Mongolian Beef. Also Wongs fried rice & appetizer plate and soups. I had hot & sour soup, absolutely delicious, a little spicy as it should be. My Mongolian Beef was probably the best prepared, very tender beef and flavorful I've had, and always consistently the same each visit. The other entrees severed were equally flavorful, tender meats and served fresh & hot. Servers are kind and knowledgeable of each dish and offer suggestions of their favorites. The seating area is in need of updating but very clean, as are the restrooms. But it's about the quality, quantity & consistency that keeps me returning. Just go!

Every dish was prepared beautifully and packed with flavor, but the lobster was truly divine. Perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and infused with the aromatic flavors of fresh ginger and green onions, it was one of those dishes that leaves a lasting impression long after the meal is over. The beef and shrimp lo mein were equally delicious, with rich savory flavors and generous portions, while the walnut shrimp was perfectly crisp with a delicate sweetness that balanced the dish beautifully. It's probably the fanciest Chinese restaurant I've been to in AZ. The lunch menu is excellent and quite impressive! There are 8 entrees to choose along with a side for only $20. We ordered seafood jjampong and wagyu beef jjampong as sides and genghis khan beef and chili garlic fried chicken as mains. The jjampong had that great umami taste without the oiliness that's unavoidable at other restaurants. The ingredients felt very premium and fresh. Ghengis khan beef pieces were very generous and tender with a savory sauce. Chili garlic chicken was a tad salty for me but had great crisp. For whatever reason, Chinese restaurants in Arizona serve egg hockey pucks and cover it with various items and call it egg foo young. I even asked about it before I ordered it. Alas when I got home and saw what I had, I was disappointed. It's faster to make it this way but the egg hockey puck had no taste - zero. They could have at least added oyster sauce, a little soy sauce, maybe nam plah, and perhaps sesame oil. It was tasteless. A complete miss. I also ordered something simple, shrimp spring rolls. Quite a lot of food and for a very reasonable price! I think the combo was around $10. If you are a fan of bean sprouts, this is your place. The chow mein had a massive pile of beansprouts on top. The noodles were indeed crispy but they was such a meager portion compared to the beansprouts. The fried rice was pretty basic but also a generous portion and the two tempura shrimp had a nice crispy batter. I tried some of the eggroll too which is one of the most unique versions I've had since the super crispy outer layer was either a different preparation or different wrap material than I'm used to.
