Its nice Inside so far because it's new, they didn't have some ok food, some was bland n some were tasty. The fruits weren't sweet, the trays weren't filled in a timely manner, there were at least 7 empty hot trays that needed to be filled only scraps on the trays. Service was kinda slow, it's just ok for me nothing really stood out for me that was impressive. I may try it another time n hopefully it'll be fully stocked with fresh hot food. We've been waiting for this place to open so when I saw the grand opening banner from the freeway I knew we had to come check it out. We have been to quite a number of Chinese buffets over the years and let me tell you... this one is pretty exceptional. There was a line out the door when we got there (around 11:15 am) and there was still a line out the door when we left. The line moved quickly and we were seated right after paying. We were pleasantly surprised by the huge selection of food available. They had absolutely everything! In addition to 2 full rows of hot dishes they have a sushi station, Mongolian grill station, salad station and dessert station. Food highlights for me on this visit: fried rice rice noodles, dumplings, egg rolls, pineapple chicken, beef and broccoli, chicken and broccoli. I absolutely loved the egg rolls. They were so delicious! I also tried some fruit and pudding. My husband had some of the desserts and said they were good. Our server was prompt at clearing away empty dishes. Drink refills took longer than anticipated but they were insanely busy. Despite the fact that this is a buffet and people make messes, staff stayed on top of things and the restaurant was very clean and inviting. There were 3 of us on this visit and all 3 of us had a great experience and are looking forward to coming back again! read more

Super clean, fun and family oriented. Lots of great foods to choose from. Service was impeccable.

The food was pretty good. Place was clean. The hot and sour soup was terrible. Not hot or sour. The soy sauce was SUPER SALTY!!! I'm not sure why. I've been eating kikkomans regular soy sauce for many year and have never had it be so salty. Either they got a bad batch or they are adding salt to stop people from eating too much sushi. I'll bring my own sauce next time. Other than that it was a pretty good experience. read more

Well, we went just after 11 AM. There were three of us in the party. We paid the fee, which was not that much for three people. We went to get our food one went to the grill and to the back the other two of us went through the buffet lines to get food. The food was warm, but not hot. I did grin and chuckle as they even had cheese enchiladas. I also got the string beans the mushrooms, the small shrimp, some orange chicken and fried fish. My plate was really like a sampler. Later, I went back and got baked salmon, which was hot and very, very good. I'm also got what they called apple pie, which is nothing to write home about mines better. And some of the ice cream which was good. I can't say the food wasn't good as it was, but it could've stood a little more cooking or heating somewhere along the line as it was only warm Except for the baked salmon which was hot. The service was fair and the ambience was OK for a buffet. No big complaints that I can't give them five stars because the food was just warm. read more

So I arrived at the Metro parkway location just across the street from harbor Seafood Grand buffet. The area and layout is clean yet maze like depending upon where you park and enter if you are walking. The entrance is nice and clean and there are two greeters and a host busy and at work to get you paid in and seated. on the inside The area is a l smaller than Harbour and no wide inviting space which is standard to the lin decor and seating Format Everybody is tight and cozy yet comfortable. Standard and long-standing to Chinese and Asian buffet style you'll have someone greet you at your table asking you what you would like to drink. This never fails and it's always excellent because they are tidy and prompt. For Lins (like all the other locations )there is a sushi,Mongolian and a dessert area next to the sushi is the fruit salad and pudding area. As stated in my last Asian buffet review I told you that both of these locations would be fighting for supremacy. But upon entering the parking areaI saw a Mongolian cook worker having a cigarette and I politely greeted him and I said "hello wonderful place you have here.". he kindly spoke back "welcome enjoy yourself" Due to it being Asian I don't think either of the two groups (harbor or Lins) are prodding themselves one over the other. me saying that would the case was just an opinion. as for the options distinctions Harbor offers Televisions and conversion so that you can connect with your friends family and loved ones co-workers etc . Harbor has a lot more rare options and unique food options Such as raw oysters chicken feet crawfish Lins has pork ribs baked and fried chicken wings Poke Mongolian grill and all other regulars you're used to seeing at Lins Lins has no televisions but wants you to eat and have a good time. Harbor has Large tables and a spacious banquet room for large gatherings.. I thought the staff was exceptional. I feel when you check in and use Apple Pay they should give you more time to add tip as I think that deprived the service staff of some tips for those that don't carry cash. The food was pretty good and I would definitely recommend this place to others looking for an affordable meal with respectable quality. Again staff was great! read more

So many choices. The food was really good. The baby squid was really tough and chewy so I wasn't wild about it. I ate small portions on my first plate, so I could see what I enjoyed the most. First of all, $14.99 for good Chinese food is an amazing price. The barbecue ribs we're delicious. The Mongolian barbecue that you can create is spectacular. I love it! It's so nice and clean inside! It's also huge! Decorated nicely and doesn't look shabby like so many buffets. Employees were friendly and refills quick. Lot of great food, all hot and never empty. Everything was available and filled up quick when it got low. All the different chicken, the noodle bar, the dessert donuts. All for 20 bucks or so! The restaurant itself looked clean on the surface. Ok. However, my wife loves this place and for the likes of me I don't know why other than the fact that she rants and raves over their jalapeño chicken which I found to be very sub par. At the front desk my wife informed the cashier that we wanted dining for two. They did not have coke zero so I opted to drink water. You see, these places try to sell one something even if they don't want it. Since they didn't have what I wanted I was fine with drinking water. However, the cashier said that she had already charged us for 2 drinks, as if she could not reverse or cancel the order and redo the order. She heard me tell my wife to take the charge off and when we received our receipt, we found that she charged us for 2 drinks anyway! My wife filled up about 3 plates for herself and she did not "stop at Go!" I fixed 3 plates in hopes of finding some culinary treasures. Not! Quite frankly I was wary of the food once I reached my table. I had put a large piece of fish on one of my plates and it was supposed to be salmon. But at further examination I found that the salmon meat/flesh was completely brown , the entire piece. I've never seen brown salmon before so I would not even attempt to taste it. I had tried all the types of shrimp and if one just looks at it's appearance, it's old. Reheated old shrimp, so I did not touch it. The terriyaki beef, nope. The rice noodles, suspect. So the remainder of the meal I sat quietly and watched my wife devour her food as if there was no tomorrow and tried not to display my dislike for the food. However, she could plainly see that I did not enjoy of the food at this buffet restaurant. I am just glad that she enjoyed her meal because she will not come to this buffet without me accompanying her. I probably will return only because she enjoys the food so much. I've been trying to point out to her when eating out, all food is not good and all food is not fresh and what to look for but I guess she will have to learn to make better choices over time. Or not. We are visiting Phoenix and wanted to try a Chinese buffet in the area. From what I gather, this buffet has been opened for a month. The price and the amount of fresh food was awesome! There were so many selections of various foods and the workers kept bringing out fresh ones constantly. The service was excellent!! Our servicer kept picking up finished plates and refilling our water. We highly recommend this place. We paid $17 plus tax for dinner on a weekday and is worth it. I went to Lin's yesterday, all I can say is YES YES YES! The food was delicious! A large variety of choices in a buffet. The place was VERY clean and I like that. There was a small piece of bread on the floor and a server walking by an quickly picked it up. The staff from the front desk to the table were so nice. They have a cooking station where you pick what you want and the chief cooks it. My favorite was the barbecued pork and the chicken and the steak. I highly recommend this place 100% read more

Today on Father's Day for 3 adults and 1 child they wanted to charge $150 plus change to eat there. The young kid on the cashier, showed no mercy when he was asked if there was a Veteran discount. None. Could have said sorry we don't offer it. Poor customer service. This place needs to really train their staff and honor our veterans that have given all so that restraints like this can exist. So other than being over charged. This was a horrible experience for it being the first time coming there and bringing my family to celebrate Father's Day. I wouldn't recommend this to any family that wants to experience a cold and heartless welcome from the start. Came to lin's buffet in metro center. The plates were dirty and wet still. They had dirty ice, no chop sticks and the ginger for the sushi tasted like it has been sitting in a container of water for days. The food is overall alright but nothing to look forward too, I would avoid the sushi as it tastes warm and old. And the service was extremely slow and let the plates pile up on the table. read more

At first the food tasted good but theres not a wide selections to chose from. This is the first buffet I went to with no oysters. The buffet across the street is about the same price per adult and had more selections of food with oysters. The Service was excellent though and this is the first buffet I went to that didn't feel like waiters pressure you to hurry up eating then give you your check.
