Yk the food is good when you all go dead silent and not a word is said. Im telling you my friends and i absolutely LOVED this place.. we seriously debated going for a second round because we left nothing lol!! Anyways- totally recommend, the server was so sweet and the food was brought out quickly! Though it is a bit chilly in there (very.) so def keep that in mind!

Dalynn was a great server! Attentive and went above and beyond for us! The new wings were delicious my bf said 5/5 they definitely have a Cajun flavor so yummy! The food was warm shrimp, potatoes, egg, and sausage cooked perfectly! Thank you Angry crab!

1lb Shrimp in bag- Catfish basket, fries and coleslaw missing. Restaurant placed sticker on the top of the shrimp bag, but it's still open!

I love this place and it pains me to post this because I don't know if this was the restaurants fault or the delivery driver. Clearly the packaging is terrible for delivery orders! Ordered 1lb bag of shrimp PLUS a fried catfish basket with coleslaw and fries. Only received LESS than a pound of shrimp, no catfish meal in sight. NOTHING was sealed! Please see photo.

The Spanish octopus was alright. The clam chowder was flavorful and not too salty; definitely made it into the top three clam chowders I've had in the state so far. For our main entrees we ordered the New England lobster roll and the gemelli pasta with shrimp and scallops. The lobster roll was flavorful but felt like it was missing something. The gemelli pasta tasted a bit bland for my taste buds, but the family member I went with really enjoyed it. Since we always have room for dessert, we ordered a crème brulee to share. The crème brulee was nice and not overly sweet. Overall, service was professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and the food arrived in a timely manner. The restaurant itself is quite spacious with nautical décor throughout which gives off a comfortable and relaxing vibe.

Their house blend is the best sauce I've ever had, that alone is what keeps us coming back, I believe it is a Viet style Cajun sauce. We usually get the build your own combo, with crawfish, snow crab, and a few appetizers like french fries, garlic noodles, and onion rings. I believe they have changed management recently, or in the past few years. Although the sauce remains delicious, the food quality seems to be falling, and I see that they have a few food safety violations listed on their Yelp. The garlic noodles were swimming in the watery sauce, and the Cajun fries were not tossed, just sprinkled on top. The restaurant has never been that busy when we go, and there is usually is only one server doing all the hosting, food running, and waitressing. Ours seemed to be a little stressed today, and did not refill our drinks as much as we would've preferred, and forgot things like our salt and pepper. We will probably still keep coming just for that sauce, but looks like the restaurant has a few things to work out to bring back its former glory.

The waitress was attentive the whole time, bathrooms were clean, and I really appreciated how mindful the staff was with my deaf friend. That always stands out to me. The calamari was okay. I liked it, but my friend said she's definitely had better. I also had to ask for lemon with the calamari. Last time I came with a friend they were completely out of lemons, so I was glad that wasn't an issue this time. I'd probably try something different instead of the calamari next visit though. We got the Pier 88 combo crab boil with the "All of the Above" seasoning in mild. It came out super quick and was very well seasoned. I personally thought it leaned a little salty, but I also saw other tables adding extra salt to their food, so I guess it just depends on your taste. Portions were good and everything tasted delicious. Very kid-friendly spot, pretty loud and lively inside, and honestly a great place for hosting bigger groups, family get-togethers, or even just catching up with a friend over drinks and seafood. I've been here before and would definitely come back again.

If that is what you're looking for you might find yourself to be a little disappointed. This is not that kind of a joint. (no waiters, no waitresses, no tableside service, but no high prices and ridiculous exorbitant tipping expectations either). At first using the GPS, this place was hard to find until I realize we are not looking for a sit down restaurant...it's a drive up and drive-through restaurant, it's basically made for takeout dining exclusively! Don't let that fool you though because the food at this place slaps! Lol! We had a lobster roll, a Mexican salad (served on a large flour tortilla, as a burrito!) as well as the flatbread and chicken quesadillas. They were all excellent (if you're from the East Coast, you might be disappointed by the lobster roll because it's a local interpretation of what a lobster roll would be like ) and they are among our favorite things to pick up when we want to grab food and take it back home.. The prices are very affordable! In a time when you can't touch a meal for less than somewhere between 15 and $20 this place you can feed your whole family for that even their drinks are inexpensive. This was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised! The restaurant is located in downtown phoenix. The signs can be seen from the streets but figuring out which parking structure to use was a little confusing for us for this first visit. If you find the correct parking structure (off of 2nd street) you can get your parking validated by the restaurant when you're finished eating. As we were seated, we were greeted with a fresh basket of warm praline corn muffins. They were fantastic. Don't sleep on those! We had a veritable smorgasbord! At the table, we ordered shrimp with grits, chicken and waffles with pecan praline sauce and fresh hot syrup (which for the record, came with three actual full chicken wings,... if you order chicken and waffles and they give you any less than actual full chicken wings they are imposters! This is the way the original soul food recipe started many years ago, do yourself a favor and don't settle for anything less!). We also had cheesy grits with scrambled eggs with cheese and andouille sausage. All the food was excellent, freshly prepared and perfectly executed on all points. The restaurant itself feels like a casual breakfast joint. The kind you might find on triple D with Guy Fieri. Everything I saw was clean and comfortable. They had both outdoor and indoor dining areas available. Our server was kind, courteous and helpful. I thought it was interesting that we were invited to help ourselves to Refills on our own coffee at a coffee station located near the counter. That was a new experience for me. I am currently temporarily wheelchair bound so if I was by myself, it might be a concern but thankfully, I very rarely go out to eat by myself so it's not a problem that I anticipate having in the future. We were going to go to a fancy Thanksgiving brunch, that would have cost us hundreds of dollars but we changed our mind at the last minute. This whole meal only cost an average of $20 a person and it met, and or exceeded my expectations in every way....and that's what's up! I will definitely come back here again. I look forward to visiting this place frequently and maybe using it as a great location near downtown where I can have business meetings or casual conversations with clients and friends. Although it should be noted that they are not open late so a good place for breakfast lunch or brunch but if you're looking for dinner plans, you may wanna look somewhere else.

The croissants were as anticipated -flaky, buttery, fluffy Traditional croissant, and the other a Chocolate croissant - flaky crust, buttery, dark chocolate that oozed slightly creating a finger linking mess I didn't regret. Came back a few days later to grab one for hubby but none are available until Thursday through Sunday. Alas, I did have option to special order some for event and was not restricted to ordering a full dozen of one flavor or anything. The lady that answered all my questions was able to answer all my questions, take my order, and took my number to confirm my order and pick up time the day prior. Really great customer service. When I arrived to pick up my order I got there more than a half hour early and my order was packaged and waiting. Same lady that took my order even did me a favor my writing the flavors of the filled croissants on top of the box. Can not wait to come back and have brunch.
