My mom and I visited today for 2 pedicures. My mom recently moved to AZ and I am visiting. I had KIM and she had LYN and they were amazing! They were sweet, professional, super fun and we laughed a lot. My mom and I almost fell asleep during the massage portion, it's like they knew exactly where to go. They were generous with their time, were so sweet and even spoke with me about their small Buddhist temple up front which I appreciated. It was a wonderful afternoon and I wish we could come here every day! These women deserve so much! Absolutely wonderful and the environment is so cute. Very relaxing and you feel like you are actually welcome here. I can't wait to come back when I visit next time and my mom plans to come back once a week. Come here for dip powder! I tried so many places before I found this gem. Anna and Britney are both great! First thing I love is that they individually wrap your fingers to remove old color whereas so many other places I tried have you soak your hand in acetone. Don't let people do that! It's lazy and so bad for your skin! Second, they have a great selection of colors to choose from. They are also so sweet and will be sure that you leave happy. They do a great job! Went to get pedicures with my mom, sister in law, and three year old niece. They were friendly and got to us quickly at the door. It seems like a clean place and it was very busy on a Sunday morning. They even had a little child's sized chair for my niece to get her nails done. They treated my niece so sweetly and made her feel special. My fiancé went in to get a manicure. They fixed it once while she was there. She gets home and not even 2 hrs later the clear is peeling off. She called to get her money back and the manager was very very rude. He threatened to call the cops on her if she files a dispute. Guess what buddy. Now you have me to deal with. Don't ever go to a place where a manager treats customers, especially females like that Update- the manager/owner is still threatening to call the cops if we dispute it. CAUTION, DO NOT GO HERE!! So my husband and I haven't been here for a couple of years and my husband went back the other day to get a pedicure while I was at work. The tech doing his pedicure put callous remover on his feet and it began to burn him badly. I know this stuff can sting sometimes but I'm talking it BURNED him. After he got home, he continued to have pain from the chemical burns. He even has parts of his skin that is turning black. He went back the next day to let the manager/owner know what happened and rather than take responsibility, the owner said "we let everyone know to go home an scrub their feet when they leave" REALLY!! I've never been told that in all the years I've been getting pedicures and why would you need to do that? Be careful if you're going to go here, because if they hurt you they won't care! read more

Not a single person knew what they were doing and I had to constantly tell the guy he was hurting me, I mean I could've done a better job myself. I would not recommend using this business. My sister, niece, and I decided to try it because my normal place was closed for the holiday. We went on a Friday. It was over 200 $ for 3 pedicures, a dip polish, and acrylic nails. By Sunday morning, most of my niece's toes had lost at least half of the polish. Her nails look like I tried to do them and she had to trim her own hang nails when we returned home. It is now Wednesday and the dip polish on my nails is chipped. Try somewhere else or at least wait until the owners return from vacation. read more

One of the best experiences I had at a nail salon. I walked in and was immediately greeted pleasantly. Lyn was very accommodating to what I needed and showed me all the natural nail colors. She was fast but thorough. She filed each nail and made sure there were no lumps. She even got my crusty cuticles!! During the whole thing, she conversed with me and made me feel welcomed. After going to platinum nails once a month or more for the last 9 months straight i actually had a bad experience this last time. I asked to see different shapes of nails and chose something different than i usually get. He said it was coffin shape but my nails look hardly any different than my usual square. I got medium length dip nails with 2 colors. They always charge me 45 dollars which is already more than any other salon in the area but they've always done a great job so i looked past the 10-15 dollars more. He was struggling with a few nails this time which i believe is because he had a customer waiting and was trying to rush. There were many small mistakes on about 4 nails and the underside looked horrible on all. White marks from cutting and filing ans chunks etc. The kicker was when i went to pay he charged me 55 dollars ummmm why i asked? He said because the shape i got is more especially because they arent long like their supposed to be? Why didnt he say that when i was choosing the shape? Or when he was cutting them down? I was really mad about being charged 10 dollars extra ON TOP of having all the mistakes on my nails. I most likely will not be returning to platinum nails. I guess my hunt for a good salon is still on sadly. If you want regular square shaped dip nails for 45 dollars they do a good job on those. Thats why i gave 3 stars. Charging a regular customer more without telling them before hand is rediculous. Especially when you know you made mistakes on them! Their biggest problem is that they are too busy and only have a few nail techs. Tony especially is way over booked and ive even called to make an appt a day or 2 beforehand and they cant get me in. You cant rush through a customers nails just to get to the next. Thats what causes mistakes and bad nails. Hiring more help would be smart. read more

Second visit was a little tough. Lady cut toe nails too short and cut cuticles to close causing cuts on toes. Applied callus remover all over which should only be applied to bottom of feet and burned in the open cuts and too short toe nails. My big toe is still sore from short toe nail but visit before was good. Will try them again. It's tough if you dont have a person you like to make an appointment bcuz your experience can be hit or miss. Prices are good comparing to other salons. They don't have a huge selection of nail polishes but it seems clean and friendly. read more

The last pedicure I got and my husband took 35 minutes for the hours $35 pedicure. Everytime I went my nails were a different price. We will not be back and I will let all of my friends know also.
