I love coming here! Doan and Trina are absolutely wonderful. Every time I come in I have a design that is a little out of the ordinary and they do nothing short of amazing! Their customer service is also some of the best I have seen to this day. They are always so lovely to me and my family whenever we come in and I can never get enough of the atmosphere. I always go in and get acrylic sets and they last me 4-6 weeks without needing a fill or without lifting! I will always come back to them and I will forever appreciate them!

Overly priced for this simple French tip

I was not satisfied with the service. I clearly asked for gel but I got Acrylic instead. Two pedi (my moms and Mine) and mani (mine) cost me $148 you would think I got some designed with my nails. All I requested was a French tip on both hands and feet. As a matter a fact she filed my nails way too short. Everyone has their nail spot and this place is not mine. Be mindful of what you agree before getting anything done at this nail salon. A good honest place honestly takes care of its customers. I did not receive that type of service here and I will not be returning. This is the result of trying to explore new places based on good reviews. In my opinion, read the negative reviews and find a common denominator. However, like in everything in life you are either going to learn from your own experience or hopefully u take heed to others' warnings. The decision is ultimately yours.

It really hurts me to write this but today was my last time going to this place. I swear I must have something written on my face because I just can't find a consistently good nail place. Went here just before covid and loved how friendly the owner and her husband were. Came back about 4-5 weeks ago for an sns manicure and the guy I had was super nice and did a great job! I wanted to try coffin shaped compared to my usual round and it came out great! And they charged me $35. Which was around what I paid pre covid. Lately places have charged $40+. Had a great experience that I brought the husband back the next week to get pedicures. Again. Great experience. Today. I went in to get my sns manicure at around 930 and they asked me to come back at 10:30 because they were too busy. So I came back at 10:30 and got a guy who I sensed right away was new. They had to explain to him how to do sns. When normally they apply the acetone to soak off the sns, he used the drill with spikey drill but and my anxiety got high. I explained please be gentle because they were my real nails not acrylics. He just nodded and kept saying ok remove. His English wasn't great. My needless to say I couldn't relax. Sure enough he snagged one of my fingers. Ughhh in my had I kept saying I should ask for someone else. But I didn't want to be rude. Then he proceeded to use the acetone and wrap my nails normal. I said I wanted the shape round and he confirmed ok round. He was too afraid to file my nails so now they're all different shapes. I showed one nail that was a nice round shape and said to match that. It didn't help. Then when he dipped my nails. He dipped them like 5-6 times each. 2 hours later!!! Never have I had my nails take that long. I don't think he applied the right top coat because my nails are still thin and griddy. Usually they're smooth and strong after. They look like super glue on my nails and I just wasn't happy. I should have left then. I asked the owner if she had time for a eyebrow wax and she said yes. So I sat there and waited for her while she cleaned the shop. Go outside.come inside. It's like she forgot. Then she asked me to pay. I said yes but I still need my eyebrows waxed. She took me to the back and wow it was painful. She kept saying how perfect they looked and how great they were. When I left I had wax in my hair on both sides of my head. Then redness on my forehead is expected but looking at it now, hours later, I see she took off some skin too. Then she charged me $55. $45 for my nails?? No design nothing special. :( I know this is probably the longest review ever. But it was just bad. All bad. Definitely not going back

Princess treatment is what i received at this nail salon. Booked same day, friendly staff. Trina on pedi and Doan on my nails. I was in and out within an hour. Very clean and relaxing. Perfect nail shape, it was exactly what I asked for. read more

there was one person working when an appointment was made for 2 people at 2:15. The woman who did my acrylic fill cut my pinkie, wiped off the blood then went back and filed over it and then sprayed alcohol on it. The nail polish was so thin that she did 7 coats and it still looked terrible. When she finished I asked another worker who was there now, if he would change my polish. He buzzed my nails down so much I thought he was going to fill them again. He didn't, but did cut the same pinky in a different spot and also sprayed alcohol on it. He put on two coats of the new polish and it was good but my nails were thin. They charged me full price and the next morning one of my nails broke. I will not ever go back here. read more

I've gone to this location twice now and twice I've had a great experience. The first time, I had acrylics from a different salon on. I wanted them off and to get a manicure. They were absolutely a challenge to get off! But Trina worked at it and got them off safely and without damage to my nails. And the manicure turned out amazing. She didn't even charge me a lot for how much work went into taking off the acrylics! The second time, I had a really badly broken nail. Steven was really great about repairing what he could of my nail and making sure you couldn't even tell that it was broken afterwards. The gel manicure I got from him looks amazing! He suggested a different glitter to go over the base color I wanted than the one I picked out and it looks great! I'll definitely keep coming back especially since this salon is right around the corner from my house within walking distance. read more

Another expensive nail place, another crappy job. I am writing this review almost 2 weeks post dip manicure, and I'm not impressed. At the time it was done, it looked pretty good, but as my nails have grown out I have needed to file around the inner edges as my cuticles, which were so flooded, that instead of The thick rounded "bubble" look that so many people hate about dip manicures, (I'm not a fan, either) mine look like a sheet of some thing was applied to the top of them and it's just growing out with rough edges all around where it touches my skin. Also, the TV was set on "Supreme Master TV". As a Christian, I found it odd. And if you're non-religious, I have no idea what you would think about it. I prefer the salons that just show random home decorating/remodeling shows. They seem like a safer bet, to me. Manicures are too expensive, these days, to not have a good experience. I've tried taking photos, but they don't really show the problem. I won't be back. read more

I am surprised this place has 4.5 stars...arrived 1 minute before our appt. We were seated in our pedi chairs about ten mins after. Sat there unattended until 4:56 (appt was at 4:30). There were only two people working and they were busy on the other customers. The basic pedi is $30 plus $10 for callus removal. The paint job was AWFUL. Paint on my skin, lines not clean, etc. Lastly, the entire time on the TV was this very odd channel taking about religion, veganism, kids singing "unique" songs....it was SO odd. And not what I want to listen to while getting my nails done. I made the review 2 stars instead of 1 because the people were nice...unfortunately that's def not enough to keep me coming back. read more

I was going to take my sister and GF to the #1 Salon in the area for a nice pedicure, but they were booked way out. This salon took us immediately and we're very kind and talked to us while we were there. They often checked to see if we were comfortable and the experience was very nice. This was only my second time, but the service and experience was excellent and they definitely deserve more customers! Thanks Trina! You were very nice! read more

I went there for a mani pedi with my daughter-in-law and at first everything was great. Everything looked good but when I got home my mani pedi the topcoat started to bubble, which was really odd. I've never had that happen to me before. My daughter-in-law's gel mani pedi we're just fine but my natural mani pedi bubbled. I called them up and arranged to go back the next day to have them redo and he was happy to redo my pedi but not my French mani and he just put another topcoat on it and when I got home again, it bubbled, so I will never go back there, otherwise their service was great for the actual massage of a manicure and Pedi but the top coat on the natural nail finish product was not a good product and told them so. read more

This is a quiet salon hidden in the back corner of the plaza. The two women working were nice & spoke to us the entire time. We got pedicures but what really impressed us was the amount of time spent on callus removal on my husband's feet! The owner, who did my services, was very friendly. She gave me a hug and a third eye blessing before I walked out the door. While this salon wasn't the most pristine, what they lacked in this area they made up for in quality & warmth. read more

I came here for the first time after another salon was too busy even when I made an appointment a month in advance. I've been trying to find a salon in the area since I just moved to Mesa and this will not be my only salon! Let me tell you I'm so glad I came here! The staff were so welcoming as I arrived. I was in a chair the first 5 minutes of arriving. The staff was so nice around my services. I got a manicure (plain) and a pedicure (gel). Anytime another customer came in they were welcoming, they recognized any new or old faces! You could tell this salon cared. I highly recommend you come! It's a little hidden but just keep looking and it's in the corner! Trust me you'll be super happy with your services. They took their time in every set, continued to make sure I was comfortable and I've never felt so refreshed before! read more

I went previously, and the staff was super sweet and they took their time, unfortunately the more I look at my nails the more I realize how messy they kind of look. There is a lot of excess gel and the polish has already started to chip. :( read more

Ok, if I'm being honest then I would not of picked a nail salon in this old shopping center, but I did on accident and thought what the heck! So glad I did! Trina and Doan are fantastic! I normally get gel dip manicure with a design element and gel polish pedicure. This is the first place that has same colors that come in both gel and dip! This means everything coordinates!!! Other places really dig hard to remove my old dip and have even burned the skin around my nails. Doan was so patient and gentle and even though more people came In he never rushed! Highly recommend this place! read more

Doan and Trina treat me very well. I have been coming here since moving to Mesa for nearly a year. They remember my name and the type of pedicure and dip I get. If I have a concern, they have fixed it immediately or done what I had asked. Sometimes for my nails, it's good for me to have 3 dip rounds and each time I ask, Doan will do it without question. The pedicures are so relaxing and I have never been rushed. Trina is so friendly and always is such a warm welcome when I come in. I have been to A LOT of nail salons and this small but family owned one is my favorite because they care about their customers and their experience. I recommend to everyone and if you have concerns to ask them, because they care about the quality and will fix immediately!! read more

I went there for a pedicure on a Saturday morning. There was only one other customer, so there were…read moretwo female employees watching TV and on their cell phones. After a few minutes, I was greeted by a much older woman, probably in her 70s. She brought me over to the pedicure station and proceeded to fill the basin with extremely hot water. She then showed me a list of the types of pedicures available. She pointed to my feet and said something then pointed to the most expensive one they have. I then told her that I wanted the basic one (lowest cost). She then pointed to the middle one. I told her no I wanted the basic one. She scoffed and went to the back to get supplies. When she came back, she proceeded with my pedicure. It was unlike any pedicure I've ever had. She asked me if I wanted the nails trimmed and I said yes. She then cut them very short and uneven. There was no room for correction without cutting them even shorter to a painful length. So I had to let it go . She paid no attention to my cuticles or nail root. The foot scrub consisted of one brush across my foot (this is no exaggeration, it was literally one stroke)! The nail polish application was also disappointing. It was applied very sloppily, showing brushstrokes and bubbles. I'm a pretty easy-going person and do not expect perfection from others, especially when selecting the lowest cost item. However, I still expect some effort and pride in workmanship. It was obvious that this woman was trying to teach me a lesson for selecting the lowest cost item. If that's not the case, well, I am certainly glad I didn't waste my money on the most expensive one! When we got to the register, she ran me up and then asked if I had a punch card. I told her I did not. She then handed me one, but didn't bother to stamp it. By this time, it was clear they had no interest in me, returning it as a customer, so I left the card on the counter and left. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

They did not start until about 2:45 when she finally got to see me she started talking on the phone with someone for a while and told the person oh if they ask about me, don't tell them who I am. Tell them I moved and you don't know me and all sorts of shady stuff, not appropriate and then in the middle of filing my nails she just stands up leaves to go give someone else her keys ....mid filing my nails! And comes and sits back down during this time she had messed up the shape of my nails I have gel X nails she changed the shape of the nails to the point that by changing the shape back, it will be become extremely short.so I need a new set. She also continuously filed the skin around my nails, so 5 different fingers are raw and sore, and she kept telling me to relax, but I couldn't relax because she kept filing my skin, not even my nails, my skin around my nails at the end I was trying to leave and I was going to pay for the service, even though it was terrible and she got very agitated saying you don't like it and I said "well no it's not exactly what I wanted but it's not a big deal they will grow out and I will get them fixed later " I was still gonna pay for the service and she said well then you should've told me and I stated "I tried to, but you were on the phone and then you left and then she continue to shorten them while not talking to the other staff and not responding when I was saying excuse me" she continued yelling at me for not continuously interrupting her phone call whenever I was trying to politely . I tried to tell her like no I wanted the same shape, when she did ask but she continued changing the shape and then she told me to leave and that I can have the nails for free and she was very rude about it. Do not go here. It's not worth it. Save your self the headache. don't support sketchy people. Any where else is better

I've been loyal to EWC for years as I loved my waxer but hated their "wax pass" speech every time I walked past the place. I just moved to the area and GWB was recommended to me. #1: They use soft wax for Brazilians. Absolutely not. Anyone in industry knows that hard wax is much better for Brazilians. Again, I have been having this service done since I was maybe 21 years old, I am now 32, I wanted to come off the table to slap her it hurt so badly. #2: If youre planning on relaxing at all during your service, rest assured, you won't. You have to help the waxer with your own service to pull your skin taut leaving your hands covered in wax.. or maybe you'll get lucky like me and your waxer will cover your finger in wax. #3: She broke so much of my hair, missed multiple spots, including my butthole, and burned me. I left the appointment slightly sore, which is very normal. It wasn't until later that night when I showered I realized I was swollen. I had strips on my vagina that were red, raised, blistered and swollen. I used some calming cream I've used for years thinking I'll go away in the morning and it didn't. I went on my trip with hair (which then caused me to shave over the wax job.. so you can guess how bad my ingrowns were) I'm not sure if this is how they're trained, what they're being taught.. I'm not sure but I won't be back, unfortunately. I'd much rather give my money to a small local business rather than a huge corp like EWC but I guess I'll continue to search.

This salon is amazing! Incredibly friendly and positive atmosphere. It's nestled in the back of the complex but has a nice bright yellow sign that was easy to spot. I came in last week for a pedicure and Trina greeted me at the door and started getting my chair ready for me while I picked a nail color. She was so sweet and friendly. I usually am quiet during pedicures but we both enjoyed the conversation. They use new, sanitized, pre packages equipment which I found reassuring. I got I believe the Orchid Pedicure which I found the be a great deal. Trina really took her time and gave me a wonderful massage and cleaned up my wretched toe nails. I very much enjoyed the honey lotion she put on my legs, much higher quality than what I have gotten elsewhere. The salon is very clean. It is not as remodeled as some of the other salons but it most certainly does not lack for customer service or quality- which is what truly matters in a salon! I stumbled across this place from Apple Maps. The reviews were great so I decided to walk in to see if they had a walk-in appointment. They took me right away. I got a full set acrylic and basic pedicure. trina and doan are two of the nicest, most pleasant people I've ever met. Great conversation and great service. And to mention the NAILS! I got French tips and they are so elegant and beautiful. I have big nail beds so it's hard to find someone to make my nails not look so big. I fell in love with this place. This is the most awesome nail salon I have ever been too. Don and Trina treat you like real person. My daughter has special needs and loves to get her nails done. Trina and Don go above and beyond for her and make her feel so special. My daughter will be glowing for days on end. I won't trust any one else with my daughter. Don has done several different seasonal nail art on her nails. Trina, Don and staff do fabulous and take good car of us. Never more then 1.5 hrs max there. They never brush us off when we walk in. Their pedi's are beyond the best, they take the time and ensure that its perfect... Absolutely loved this place. For my first experience here, we were a walk-in appointment and I brought my 5 year old to treat her for doing so well lately in school. Trina gave her a full mani/pedi and was so sweet and patient with her. Don took care of me and made my nails BEAUTIFUL! Great conversations, quality care and the aesthetic of the spa was magical. After enduring an ingrown toenail for over a year, I was referred to Orchid Nail and Spa by a long term neighbor. Doan provided much time, attention and care in treating the damaged nail. He used all natural substances throughout the process. I am in awe of his patience and skill and can't even stop looking at my toe which magically appears normal again! This salon has the friendliest staff. I was able to walk in on Friday afternoon for a gel manicure. Doan was my technician, he brought me a bottle of water and gave me time to pick out my polish color, they had a ton of choices all painted on sample sticks so you could see how they looked. My nails turned out great and have held up really well, I'm nearly a week in and they still look perfect. Prices seem fair and service was great, I will definitely be back! read more

This is a family salon! My husband feels very comfortable getting a pedicure, and his toes have never looked better. I get a pedicure and my nails done and am always satisfied. The owners Doan, and Trina, are very professional and a super nice couple. Luna is great too and does great designs if you want them. They are one of the cleanest salons I have ever used and they use tub liners for extra safety. I will always go back. read more

I stopped in again after work today to see if the owners could make this right. They were both helpful and understanding of my concerns, fixed my nails without hesitation. I am really impressed by the level of professionalism. The owner smoothed out the nails, reshaped them and made them look natural and more proportioned to my fingers.
