First time here. I was in the vicinity and I saw their sign off the road; decided to give them a try. I'm in desperate need of a pedicure. I walked in and didn't have to wait I was put in a chair immediately I was given their menu of the pedicure options and prices. I chose the Golden pedicure which is a step above silver/basic pedicure. It includes a sugar scrub, callus treatment and 5 minute hotstone massage. Sandy was my technician and she was awesome. Sandy did a great job trimming and massaging my feet. Sandy has a great personality. Sandy chose the aloe vera scrub it had a great scent. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Helen did a phenomenal job on my gel manicure and was very patient with me on going between 3 colors. I love that she wasn't afraid to truly cut the cuticles. Sunny did my pedicure and was very gentle. I did ask him to trim my toe nails a bit more, but that's personal preference. If u do go make sure u bring cash because if you want to use card they charge extra fees and a 20% is the minimum for a tip so it depends on how much you're nails are. She tries her hardest to make every nail vision I have a reality. Even if I don't love a design or something I pictured doesn't exactly work out- I always get compliments from others on my sets. I can't ever really complain. The shop is affordable - especially given the area. Make sure to pay in cash or there is a card fee- and don't forget to tip!!! These ladies work extremely hard. I am always greeted warmly. I moved to North Phoenix and I genuinely would not go to another nail tech so I travel the 40 minute drive to visit for my regular appointments. I had a pedicure and still have burning on my lower legs from the harsh chemicals in the products they use and the repetitive, aggressive rubbing of the sugar scrub. I was the only customer, they put me in the one chair with broken massage rollers, they kept turning it back on for me and laughed when I said just the left side rollers worked and I didn't want it on. My niece was with me, she went in for a manicure and was upsold to getting a full set which took 45 minutes longer than we were told it would be. Felt rushed and pressured. After a rough mishap at Sunny nails. I left crying and went to another salon to have my nails fixed. My friends and family talked me into going back to tell them how unhappy I was and it was the best decision I could have made. Tony took such good care of me and fixed my nails the best that he could until I could get back in to get a whole new set. He went above and beyond and put me in a different product that I absolutely love and is so perfect for me. I've been to this location several times with my parents and sister. The staff is very friendly and professional, the location is clean and you can see that everything is sterilized and up to code since they have every kit packaged, wear gloves, etc. The owners recognize us because we like to come here and they are very personable. It's best to call ahead and make a reservation because they can get really busy, especially during the holidays. It is tucked in the plaza near the pizza place and Fry's grocery. There is ample parking, so that won't be an issue. When you come here, there are options for pedicures, manicures and waxing. I only get pedicures, but my mom has gotten manicures as well. The seats are massage chairs, there are side tables to rest your phone/book/magazine and a hook for your purse. They also offer you bottled water. I've never had a bad experience here! The menu for pedicures include an option for a sugar scrub, warm paraffin wax bags, and more. A cool trick I learned from them is to ask for gel polish, like what you'd use for your manicure. It makes the polish last longer! It's an extra charge, but keeps your polish on for a lot longer! read more
