first time getting waxed, i had a good experience. no problems at all. I even got given a freebie for next time.

I hate to give this place anything but a 5 star because I have been going here for years for waxing but I have to warn others to think twice before using their lamination services. I gave it a try knowing I took a chance as this is a new service they provided and it is very close to my house. I never expected to be missing part of my eyebrow as a result that is now not growing back and I have to consider alternatives like microblading so I can fill in the missing hair. Apparently, all of them were newly trained but clearly not well enough. They follow an instruction sheet as they are doing it. As someone who has done lamination many times, the girl who did my lamination said some questionable things during the process. For example, a vital part of lamination is the after care which I received zero information on. I would have been okay with that had my eyebrows been fine. Instead they have thinned out completely and my left is missing a part of the eyebrown that I now have to pencil in every day. It is very clear that they are doing this without solid training in the hopes that it turns out okay. Even when I went back to show them, the second girl had to follow the instruction sheet to see what might have gone wrong and seemed unsure of herself. Super disappointed that I have to now deal with the aftermath of how to get my eyebrows looking back to how they were before. read more

This experience happened in Oct '23 but I keep getting emails from them...so I figured, I'd detail why I will never go back there. My usual esthetician was on vacation so I figured I'd swing by here for a wax because I wanted to get it done before it got grown out. Preface saying I'd had my eye brows done here a million times and never an issue, so I figured we'd be good. I was getting a bikini wax and I'm not sure what she did but I have NEVER had a wax hurt so bad. I was also left with a gigantic bruise (which I have pics of) from however she was waxing. I was not given a warning of the large mark on my inner thigh or anything. Just tormented and sent on my way. It was also very clearly there immediately, I went home and saw it right away. So all in all, I'll never deviate waxers again and never come here again for a $60 tormenting and large bruise. read more

I was lucky enough to attend the grand opening at this location and have been back several times.. each time I receive a reminder call and text message the day before my appointment. I've seen Rebecca every time, she is great at what she does.. she checks with you throughout to make sure you're ok and let's you know what she's doing.. she makes great conversation, she's fast and efficient .. I would recommend her to any newbies .. They sell their own BodyBuff and BodyWhip, after wax care products, both are excellent products, they recommend them but they aren't pushy about it. Extremely professional. I'm a guy who gets male Brazilian's and this is one of the few places I can go to receive great service; and feel comfortable. Honestly, since I've started I can't stand having hair down there. Although they are great for men an women, guys if you already get this service or have been thinking about it, I highly recommend the Lunchbox. And if you are one of these guys looking looking for "extra services", you need to take matters into your own hands and stay away. It's folks like you that ruin it for the rest of us. I had a TERRIBLE prior experience with a Brazilian wax 2 years ago and was not able to bring myself to get another one. It was an hour of agony and I was terrified that I would have to relive it. Well, one of my best friends gets waxed regularly here and she finally convinced me to give it a try again. I went to see her esthetician, Rebecca, who had already been told all about me. She was amazing. She was thorough, but it was all over in about 20 minutes. There were parts that were bad, but overall it was totally bearable. There is a definite skill and finesse to waxing vaginas, and Rebecca is a master! The salon itself is clean, simplistic, and beautiful. I was greeted immediately and didn't have to wait at all. I have been a customer since this location opened a year ago. Always a grateful customer and great experience. As of the last month, what has happened to customer service and being nice?. All new people, the young girls at the front desk were snippy and rude. This is a service industry. My appointment was pushed back as I was late 8 min. and they all sat around the front desk and didn't even take the appointment (15 min wax). I used to go to lunchbox is Scottsdale regularly for waxing and after the waxer I was seeing moved away and I never was satisfied with the other waxers, I stopped going. I got some laser hair and the amount of hair I have left didn't really bother me enough to do anything more about it. Anyways, I don't want them to hold my credit card on file (which is their booking policy) and I needed an under arm wax so I walked into this location. I had checked and there were availabilities. They took my name and I waited a few minutes. They didn't check my temperature but I did need to wear a mask and she had me use some hand sanitizer before going back. I asked her if I needed to take off my shoes since they get just as contaminated and dirty. I climbed up on the table (didn't touch anything) and after about 2 strips and 4 rips I was done. She put a little moisturizer on my underarms and away I went. I still didn't touch any doors or equipment so not sure what the point of hand sanitizing was. Maybe for the people out there who don't regularly wash their hands despite cold/flu bacteria & germs? I cannot fathom that people still don't wash their hands. Ew. Anyway, its not rocket science, got it done, least amount of fuss as possible. I may go back again as a walk-in only. read more

The waxing experience was fine. The salon was clean and the individuals working there were very nice. So this is nothing against them or their establishment-- But the wax didn't remove all my hair, immediately left red bumps and pimples. I should have insisted on a spot test for the wax on a smaller area, because whatever soft wax they use isn't suitable for all skin. read more

I had gone here a couple times prior and I have had great experiences. This last time I went, it was kind of a different story. I showed up early, as I usually do, but I was left waiting about 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. The woman in front of me had been waiting as well and she was given a discount off of her wax. Once I got in, my wax went well, but a chunk of the skin under my eyebrow was ripped off and now I am left with a scab. I am disappointed, as this was my favorite brow place by far. read more

She was helpful in explaining the process and products but was not at all pushy with purchasing. It was my first time being waxed, overall it wasn't as painful as I expected.
