I'm going to give it some stars because the place is cute. Michelle, the owner, definitely put her thought into this place when curating it. I'm giving it a so-so review because of my waxing experience. I want to first and foremost say I did call the salon numerous times trying to get in touch with Michelle, and also messaged them on Instagram as they actively post on their regularly but have gotten nothing in return. I also want to start this post by prefacing that I have been a long Brazilian wax girly. Years. I've been loyal to EWC for years as I loved my waxer but hated their "wax pass" speech every time I walked past the place. I just moved to the area and GWB was recommended to me. #1: They use soft wax for Brazilians. Absolutely not. Anyone in industry knows that hard wax is much better for Brazilians. Again, I have been having this service done since I was maybe 21 years old, I am now 32, I wanted to come off the table to slap her it hurt so badly. #2: If youre planning on relaxing at all during your service, rest assured, you won't. You have to help the waxer with your own service to pull your skin taut leaving your hands covered in wax.. or maybe you'll get lucky like me and your waxer will cover your finger in wax. #3: She broke so much of my hair, missed multiple spots, including my butthole, and burned me. I left the appointment slightly sore, which is very normal. It wasn't until later that night when I showered I realized I was swollen. I had strips on my vagina that were red, raised, blistered and swollen. I used some calming cream I've used for years thinking I'll go away in the morning and it didn't. I went on my trip with hair (which then caused me to shave over the wax job.. so you can guess how bad my ingrowns were) I'm not sure if this is how they're trained, what they're being taught.. I'm not sure but I won't be back, unfortunately. I'd much rather give my money to a small local business rather than a huge corp like EWC but I guess I'll continue to search. read more

I moved to Arizona 5 months ago and have been going here for waxing. The customer service is perfect, prices are reasonable and the best part it's kid friendly. They have so much patience with the kids and don't find them a nuisance. I would definitely recommend this place for waxing and other beauty services needed if your a mama who has no time or no babysitter. read more

I've been here many times and have always had a good experience with Taylor. There is a lot of turnover at this location. I wanted to get my brows "cleaned up". I quickly made an appt online. I asked the waxer to clean up my brows. I had only SPF on my face no makeup. I have full brows mind you. It took the gal 40 min to wax my brows. Once she gave me the mirror I started crying. I could not believe she waxed off almost my entire brows! The owner told me it would be "complimentary". I walked into this establishment wanted to feel beautiful walked out with zero self confidence. I emailed the owner for her to make things right. She said when the waxer took off my makeup (i had zero makeup on) and waxed my brows she could see how that could be upsetting! And that she did not charge me.... I am in shock that she wouldn't try and make things right with the customer. Instead made me feel like I am at fault. read more

I've been to a lot of waxing places over the years and have consistently waxed for the last 6.5 yrs. My hair is accustomed to being waxed and comes out super easy and usually is a quick and painless experience when I go in for maintenance for a Brazilian. The Brazilian wax I just had was hands down the worst and most awkward experience I've ever experienced. I'm not sure if it was due to lack of experience of the waxer or clinic protocols and cheap quality wax. Due to the waxing technique utilized it was unnecessarily uncomfortable and irritated my skin which I've never had happen. I left feeling sore and could tell due to the wax quality combined with it not being hot enough, I'm def going to end up with ingrowns after this wax. On top of that- they require you to use this like hand/body towel that you have to assist the waxer durin to hold in place and cover up the area that isn't currently being waxed.. as if I'm being forced to cover up myself for the sake of the waxer. I could understand giving someone this option if they are newer to the experience and not comfortable but it felt forced and required so it just made a very normal and typical clean up maintenance wax into a super awkward uncomfortable experience. If you're going to require this and make it apart of your clinics protocol, I'd suggest finding a more functional wax of draping like they use for massages and facials... not one that requires me to hold and tuck in place. Such an uncomfortable and low quality experience especially for what I paid. read more

Had a HORRIBLE experience. They were incredibly rude, their waxing technicians need a lot more training and aren't confident in their work making it more painful and not work well. I've been here twice to get an eyebrow and upper lip wax. 2nd time I added the eyebrow tint for $15. Unfortunately I think it was oversold so the reason for the 4 stars. I was told it would last 4 weeks and it only lasted a few days. The tint was totally gone within a few days. I'll come back for the waxing but skip the tint. It probably works better on those with thicker brows. read more

I use to go to European wax center that treats you like a number they want you in and out in like 5 min and consistently ask for you to sign up for their wax program . I went to go get a spray tan there and I'll admit I'm not happy. The customer service was great and they were so sweet but the application of the tan wasn't good. Not only did they not disclose any of the products they were using on me, they just didn't seem properly trained in spray tanning. My tan came out very orange and spotty. It's been over a week and it's so bad. I moisturize all the time so it can't be that. I also did all the exfoliating and what not before as well. I would skip on the spray tan there. read more

I typically come here for an eyebrow wax and tint, but I tried their brow lamination for the first time. I was so upset when I followed all of their instructions and care rules step by step to only have them last 2 days. I am absolutely furious that I wasted 70 dollars for this treatment. Brow lamination is supposed to last 6 weeks and it only worked for 48 hours. I am really disappointed as I usually have a good experience, but won't be coming back after this since my honeymoon brows didn't last. 70 bucks down the drain! read more

So, I went in last Saturday to get waxed and a lash tint. The waxing process was the most pain free wax I have ever had. It did not hurt at all, which is amazing!! However, when I left I noticed the wax had given me blisters all along where I was waxed and I immediately started breaking out. The lash tint was ok, very subtle but not anything I would do again. I probably won't be going back because it's day 5 and I still have blisters that haven't completely gone away BUT, if you hate the pain of waxing go here bc it's seriously painless. read more

I went in for a brazilian wax and unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience. The aesthetician was really rough with me and a day after I noticed she had burned me. I called them to let them know, and the lady responded with care instructions and she also mentioned that she would have someone reach back out to me to handle the issue but I received no call back which was really disappointing. read more

i got an eyebrow wax & tint. ive never had a tint before & it was so very subtle that i dont really notice it. if u have brown hair i would skip it. i relayed that i wanted my eyebrows a little on the thinner side. i wish i would've taken before & afters because there was hardly a difference. if anything i feel like the way they were waxed made them look wider & blockier. i asked her to take more off the top but she plucked very few hairs that it didnt make a difference & i got the sense she was in a rush so i just left it. however, the girl was so very sweet & very personable (hence the 2 stars). but essentially paid money to go home & fix them myself. read more
