I cannot believe I have not written a review sooner. I have been going to Audra, The Wax Whisperer, for 5+ years; she is AMAZING!! At my very first visit, she made me feel at ease instantly, and walked me through everything. I see her every 6 weeks or so, and she's always open to my input on my brows. Booking is very easy (I do it online), she's always been on time, her space has always been very clean/relaxing, and she's very professional . Her nickname is true; not pain-free, but a HUGE difference compared to other waxers. Highly recommend The Wax Whisperer! read more

Love Audra! She's super sweet and very friendly. During my Brazilian she made me feel very comfortable and safe.

My first time waxing with the hard wax (non-strip type) that she uses. Audra was personable and put me at ease. The process was efficient and as others have said...was pretty painless. The salon was very clean as well. Happy with the visit! read more

Amazing. I went for my very first Brazilian wax. I was nervous and scared. But she made me feel super relaxed and it honestly didn't hurt as bad I thought. I'm so glad i found her and she will be my go to lady from now on. read more

Audra is amazing! I went to her for a Brazilian wax and it was a really great experience, like many other reviewers have said, it was virtually painless. She's very thorough, which is great, I hate getting a wax only to find out they missed spots later! You also get a complimentary take home bag with all of the aftercare stuff you need post-wax. I really appreciated that she didn't try to sell me on extra products after the wax. It can always be an awkward experience to have someone pushing product on you as you're trying to leave. She was very professional! My only "complaint" would be that it was kind of hard to find the office, so leave with a couple extra minutes so you have time to wander a bit. read more

Audra had a clean, beautiful, and relaxing studio. She was friendly and professional. I was pleased with my brow wax. I appreciate the app for scheduling. I will return. read more

I have been to many wax places for every kind of wax... I am in the beauty industry and tough to please!!!!! I am so happy I found Audra she is professional efficient and amazing at what she does! They don't call her the wax whisperer for nothing!!! read more

I love Audra!! Not only does she do an amazing job, but I just love HER! Shes so easy going and funny! Haha! Ive been going to her for many years now and even followed her from her last location. I'm so confident in her work that I don't even care to look in the mirror afterwards. I always know she makes my brows look great! She's definitely gained a forever client and friend! Thanks, Audra, for being the best! :D read more

Audra is amazing! She has a very beautiful and relaxing studio. She is very personable, listens to her customers and is very professional. She is kind, very sensitive to her customer's environment and ensures she is maintaining conversation and concern regarding their waxing experience. Thanks Audra! read more

I have been a client of Audra's for about two years, receiving a number of both her waxing and spa services. I agree with other reviewers that her waxing services are top-notch, clean, quick, and as painless as possible; but a lot of clients I think are missing out by not splurging on a facial! Audra's spa facials are so relaxing that you do not want to get up when she's finished! She is definitely very skilled at massage and does not skimp on using the same Skin Scripts products she promotes. In fact I enjoyed them so much that I purchased some of the products which was my idea - pressure for product sales is something you will not experience with Audra. She does sometimes (quarterly?) send emails with specials on both products and services and always puts her best effort forward in every aspect of her business. That all being said, my favorite thing about Audra is how personable she is. She seems to truly enjoy getting to know me and always picks up on conversations where they left off before. She also makes me a cup of tea to drink after a facial - she's a really wonderful person. read more

I literally just got home from an appointment with Audra for a Brazilian wax and could not wait a minute longer to rave about her! Seriously the best waxing experience ever. I am still shocked by how quick and relatively painless it was. Do not look anywhere else! You will not be disappointed!! Located in the Bloom Studios. read more

I absolutely LOVE Audra! I have been a devoted client of hers for probably well over a year or so? I've had a wonderful experience EVERY time! She has a beautiful, clean studio and is such a lovely person. She has a very comforting personality and is so accommodating and pleasant. Her waxes are as painless as they come - and she is quick, very convenient! Her prices are quite reasonable and she has always been flexible with scheduling and rescheduling when necessary. I usually go for wax appointments, but I have had her facial treatment as well, and it was outstanding! Very relaxing and my skin looked fabulous after! If you go elsewhere - you're missing out!!! read more

After recently moving across the country, finding a new esthetician has been a little daunting. After meeting Audra, my nerves are now put to ease. Audra is so kind, patient and really listens to what you want. She will check in with you to make sure you're taken care of (the wax temperature, the brow shape, etc.). Once I got home, my husband noticed my on fleek eyebrows and mentioned how happy I was. Yes, I was literally so happy because Audra was able to tame my wonky different height eyebrows! Can't wait to go back again and highly recommend visiting the Wax Whisperer! read more

Really amazing and fairly painless. Much better than more expensive waxes I've had in Scottsdale. She takes her time and clearly knows quality! I will go back!! read more

Had my first apt today for a leg wax. Audra is everything her reviews say she is! She is so kind, and a warm person. She has a Very professional & clean office. Waxing was fast, with minimal pain... Which is expected with waxing. I absolutely plan on returning, and booking different services. read more

Today 5/20/15, was my first time with Audra. Very nice lady! She was professional and seemed to completely evaluate my brows. We all know how nail spas will just zip zip and there goes the integrity of your brows lol. So originally I came in for the brow design because I have sparse eyebrows. They are also shaped differently. It's just cruel! Anyway, I put my complete trust in her hands because based off the good word of my fellow yelpers, she is the one to go to! I also have been growing them out since december which seemed to shock her lol. We ended up tinting with a wax. With what my eyebrows gave her to work with and how they turned out, I am satisfied. In a couple days I'll get to see how the tinting really turned out. She left my eyebrows looking thicker than most places I've been and hopefully with some practice and her tips she offered on filling, I'll have some nice eyebrows for my friend's wedding this weekend. Thank you Audra! read more

I did a lot of research regarding bikini/Brazillian. I kept coming across Audra's name. I was super nervous and could not believe how she calmed me down, explained everything and my wax did not hurt! I have cried before at another salon during an eyebrow wax so this really surprised me. I am so impressed with her!!! read more

I called Audra if she could take me in last minute and luckily there was an opening for me on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.! (Mind you it was on a Saturday so for her to squeeze me in was very sweet! ) my eyebrows look amazing and they haven't been in a long time! One of my eyebrows was thinner than the other and I told her about that and she even them out! And her waxing is really quick and painless. Also I haven't broke out yet so that's a plus since I am going to a job interview in a few days! I have been waxing for awhile and her waxing techniques are very professional and she makes you feel welcomed. Thanks Audra for taking me in last minute!!!!! I love my eyebrows! read more

The Wax Whisperer - My eyebrows are even now! Yay! She knows how to shape too! - Skin Care Near Me - Gilbert, Arizona

Audra is absolutely wonderful! I go to her for my eyebrow waxes and I have to say they have never looked better. It can be so hard to find anyone you trust to wax, doesn't break you out, etc. She is so sweet, funny and kind. I love her easy going personality and the way she decorated her salon. I would recommend anyone go see her and you won't be disappointed! Thank you Audra! read more

So happy I found a hair removal expert! She shaped my brows like a pro, tinted them just the way I like & gave me one of the best brazillians I've had to date (quick, but not rushed, precise & as painless as is possible!). Her space was lovely and her energy was warm and relaxing. I felt really comfortable which is not so likely on a first time visit. naked. with a stranger. read more

Audra did a fantastic job with my bikini wax today. She was very laid-back and made me feel comfortable (or as comfortable as possible given the job she was doing). She is educated about her products. She was thorough but quick. She made sure I knew what to expect both before & after. If I lived here, I'd see her every time I needed a wax. Plus, it's a beautiful salon and her room is comfy. read more

Let me start out by saying Audra is absolutely amazing. I got my brows, lip and a Brazilian wax. I wanted to get my legs but Audra was honest and said to save my money and let them grow out a bit longer. During my Brazilian Audra was extremely professional and made me feel at ease. It was a bit painful (obviously) but WAY better than any other I've ever had done. It turned out great and she walked me through all the post steps to do later in the week. I will definitely be back. Thanks again, Audra!! read more

I've been going to Audra for years and she's simply the best. She's not called the Wax Whisperer for nothing! She also has a very calming and friendly personality, making her clients feel comfortable and at ease. read more

I'm embarrassed to have been with Audra for so long, and haven't written a review. I couldn't imagine going to anyone else for waxing ever again. About 2 or 3 years ago I cut ties with EWC (European Wax Center) because I was sick of the revolving door of aestheticians and the inconsistency in their skill level. I couldn't be more happy now. Aside from being very knowledgeable and professional, Audra is just a very warm and friendly person. She really takes the time and effort to really get to know you and your skin. read more

Audra is amazing!!!! I've had nothing but great service from her. I always leave feeling beautiful.

I have tried many, many waxers and even tried sugaring a couple times. Audra is, by far, the most professional and least painful of the bunch! Excellent Brazillian, and brows and lip were a breeze! Thank you! read more

Virtually painless as far as waxing goes. Audra really is the Wax Whisperer, best pro I've found. She's also friendly and great to chat with. Her boutique location is always very nice. I definitely recommend her to anyone in the East Valley. read more

Great! Every time I'm in Phoenix I have to stop in and see her. From the facials to the waxings, you're in good hands :-).

I love Audra! The thought of having your business up in someone else's face when your getting an intimate waxing service isn't the most comfortable idea but she is professional and makes the experience a lot less nerve wracking! Thanks Audra!!!! :) read more

Audra is absolutely AMAZING! For a first timer, she made me feel at ease and comfortable. I'm definitely going to be returning!

Audra is friendly and professional. Location is easy to get to and plenty of parking. Her room is clean. Audra listens and gives great advice. She is not trying to just push products that you don't need. She will work with you on any special health issues. She made sure I was comfortable as I have back problems. Audra is a caring person, and it was a pleasure to meet and work with her. read more

I've gone to see Audra the Wax Whisperer twice and from start to finish she was great! As soon as you walk in the door she makes you feel very comfortable, her studio is beautiful and clean. Audra is very personable and jokes with you to make you forget that you're laying there half naked with your lady business out there lol I would definitely recommend Audra to anyone that is looking for waxing service. Her prices and fair and for the comfort and friendliness that you receive it's absolutely worth it! read more

Audra did a fantastic job with all of my waxing needs and I will be going back there in the future instead of the other place I used to frequent. She is very thorough and her studio is comfortable, clean and soothing. Thank you for your services, Audra! read more

I was really disappointed with Audra's customer service skills. She came off very haughty and was difficult to set appointments with. I was excited to come in but the whole experience left a bad taste in mouth. I'd recommend finding someone else. read more

Was my first time being waxed since I moved and she is by far the best I've ever been to! She is very personable easy to talk to but does the most amazing brows!! Client for life!!! read more

the absolute worst place i have ever been to!! The only reason why I gave it a try was because it was near my job, but the woman completely Ruined my Eyebrows!! She waxed off way too much off of the front of my EYEBROWS !!When I called her out on it she said only "one or two hairs"! IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO DOES BROWS AMAZINGLY YOU SHOULD LOOK UP "ACACIA BROWS". read more

I never leave reviews for anything but had to make an exception for this experience. First off, as a male who hates having a lot of hair but is horrible at shaving, I had to just man up to make the appointment after months of thinking how convenient waxing would be. This was literally the hardest part of the whole process. When I first walked in for my appointment, I was a nervous wreck. However, after spending less than 5 minutes talking to Audra, she turned out to be very charming and personable. I really feared the worst for nothing. Audra's professionalism and relaxed vibe made me forget how nervous I was. As far as pain goes, the majority of the wax did not hurt. I will say however, a few of the pulls in certain areas made me have to tense up quite a bit (the male way of avoiding saying something hurt haha), but thankfully Audra made it as comfortable as possible and was even kind enough to let me digest the couple seconds of pain before continuing. Honestly, I could not have had a better experience! read more
