There aren't many threading places in my area. I popped in for a brow threading on a Thursday and was happily greeted by Hasini and I entered. She sat me down in a chair and got to work. I knew this location had opened so I waited a couple weeks to go so I could let my brows grow out so they needed a good clean up. I want to first and foremost say I did call the salon numerous times trying to get in touch with Michelle, and also messaged them on Instagram as they actively post on their regularly but have gotten nothing in return. I also want to start this post by prefacing that I have been a long Brazilian wax girly. Years. I've been loyal to EWC for years as I loved my waxer but hated their "wax pass" speech every time I walked past the place. I just moved to the area and GWB was recommended to me. #1: They use soft wax for Brazilians. Absolutely not. Anyone in industry knows that hard wax is much better for Brazilians. Again, I have been having this service done since I was maybe 21 years old, I am now 32, I wanted to come off the table to slap her it hurt so badly. #2: If youre planning on relaxing at all during your service, rest assured, you won't. You have to help the waxer with your own service to pull your skin taut leaving your hands covered in wax.. or maybe you'll get lucky like me and your waxer will cover your finger in wax. #3: She broke so much of my hair, missed multiple spots, including my butthole, and burned me. I left the appointment slightly sore, which is very normal. It wasn't until later that night when I showered I realized I was swollen. I had strips on my vagina that were red, raised, blistered and swollen. I used some calming cream I've used for years thinking I'll go away in the morning and it didn't. I went on my trip with hair (which then caused me to shave over the wax job.. so you can guess how bad my ingrowns were) I'm not sure if this is how they're trained, what they're being taught.. I'm not sure but I won't be back, unfortunately. I'd much rather give my money to a small local business rather than a huge corp like EWC but I guess I'll continue to search.

This is the only place in Maricopa that does regular facials so I'm glad I had a great experience. The prices are fair; a classic facial is $85, blackhead extraction is $15, and eyebrow wax and tint is $45. My classic facial (50 mins) included multiple cleanses, an exfoliate, a mask, facial massage, neck massage, enzyme liquid, toner, ice treatment, moisturizer, and lip balm. She used a strong suction machine for my nose blackheads and also did some manual extractions. They worked really well! She made sure I felt comfortable the entire time and checked in on me for every application. I love the way my eyebrows turned out! It was my first time getting a tint so I was nervous about the results but it honestly looks SO GOOD. It looks like I applied makeup. I love waking up with already done eyebrows! One more step I don't have to worry about when I do my makeup:) I love how passionate she is about her job, and I enjoyed our conversation during our session. She even texted me product recommendations so I can start a nice facial routine for my skin. I can't wait to start :) Overall, I definitely recommend this place! Last Friday, I Wanted to get my nails done and decided to come back here because the first time was…read morea success. Pam was my nail tech for a gel mani ($25) and a regular pedicure ($25). The pedicure was really relaxing and she applied the Polish well. It's been a week and nothing has chipped yet, except the Polish on one nail that was pretty much removed as she put my flip flops on immediately after painting them. The manicure, at least after the salon, wasn't the greatest experience however. I'm very happy with the way she shapped my nails!! The nails feel a bit uneven as the Polish is thicker is some areas. Two days after, I noticed the edges were starting to lift by the cuticles on 1 or 2 nails. I decided to ignore it. By Wednesday, almost all but two nails were lifting and some edges were ever so slightly chipping. I was a bit disappointed since their service here is a bit pricier than other places and I assumed their service would be consistent. It's annoying because the open edges keep getting caught when I do my hair. I called on Thursday (almost a week after) to ask know if they provide a guarantee on their gel Manis as many other salons do. She asked if it was chipping, which my nails aren't quite doing, and if so, they'll fix the nails that are chipping. I wasn't able to make my appointment to fix the "chips" because of work, but I hesitantly made another appointment with a different tech (my mom raved about her) to have another gel manicure (at cost ). The owner said that if I hadn't come back by Friday to get it fixed, I'll have to pay for a new service because it's past the 1 week mark. I'll update my review this week once I go back.
