After my first experience with getting lashes, I was skeptical about trying extensions again. I found Contour Brows and was hopeful they could change my mind. Teagan meticulously placed a full set of lashes and did a brow lamination which far exceeded my expectations! Thank you, Teagan, for making me feel even more beautiful on my wedding day!! If I could give a 0 , I would. Horrible & unprofessional. I booked at a different address and they changed it to a different address on my appointment confirmation Email, which I did not take a look at cause I knew where I was suppose to be going. Texted me before 12:50 to tell me that she was running 30 minutes late. I responded to tell her about my appointment wasn't until 3 o'clock... maybe she texted the wrong person. Then I had a bunch of questions that never got answered in a 3 hour time span .. I had already paid a deposit down... at this point it was past 3pm and I had heard nothing back! I called and called and left voicemails.. no one called back. Silence! Then when she called to tell me, they moved back in January, she didn't realize I had answered the phone and was talking behind my back to the other employees. This place is unprofessional , rude , and in my opinion.. TRASH. The way you speak to a brand new client & the unprofessionalism is unacceptable. read more

I drove from Malibu, CA to Gilbert, AZ for training at Contour Brows and it was worth it! I got more out of my Brow and Lash training than I ever could have imagined. I'll be celebrating our vow renewal in a few days and my daughter encouraged me to get extensions done for the big day. I was a little nervous and wary because I'm conscious of my hooded eyelids and have noticed how when some of my friends had lash extensions done, it made their eyes look even smaller and heavier. I explained my concerns to Teagan and she was super patient and explained everything. I was very pleasantly surprised with how essentially seamless everything went and I actually even dozed off. I'm so happy with the results and am so glad my daughter convinced me to get them done! read more

I got my brows done by Sherrylyn and i absolutely love them. She was very informative throughout the process and always made sure that I liked the mapping of the brows even prior to starting. I initially had old micro shaded brows that needed to be fixed and she ended up doing ombré brows on my and i love them. They healed so nicely and I actually had a easy healing process. She even ensured to go over the after care with me and checked in to see how it was going. If you guys ever need your brows done def go to get! Here's a pic of my healed brows with no make up on them! read more

Contour Brows - My baby wing eyeliner. I love love love!!!! - Permanent Makeup Near Me - Gilbert, Arizona

I did reach out and let the owner know of my experience but only got the initial email back from her that wanted to know what happened. I will post the email below. I didn't have a good experience with Sherrylyn doing my brows and I wanted to let her know and all I was looking for the possibility to get the brows fixed. I wasn't trying to get my money back and I even mentioned I didn't want to be the first to give a bad review. "Let me start by saying I would have preferred to book with you in the first place but you're booked so far out and my schedule changes quite a bit. Yea I had the initial brow treatment and then the touch up 6 weeks later. My brows are very thin almost non existent from over plucking but also from some extreme stress that made a lot of my hair fall out about two years ago as well as my eyebrows. I told Sherrylyn that I just wanted my brows to look the way they have for 20+ years from me penciling them in (I came in with them like that as well) She mapped them out etc and I requested the arch be higher but everything else was fine. She wouldn't do the arch higher because that's "not how my face is shaped" or something's long those lines but that the touch up, if I still wanted the arch higher she would change the shape. After the first healing, I have one thick hair at the very top of where my arch is *supposed to be, that sticks straight up so I'm was going to again request the top come up because the last thing I wanted was to pluck one of the few hairs I have left. Another thing after the first session was that the right eyebrow disappeared about 80-90% but the left didn't. In fact the left as far as color saturation, was almost perfect. Cut to the second appt. I told her right away I didn't want to come out of the session with the left even darker and then the right still not caught up and she assured me it would be fixed no problem. She worked on both and I had the feeling it was going to be the same thing all over again. I also pointed out the right side edges were very blurred and needed to be crisped up a little. Regarding the arch, I told her I have hair sticking up outside of the brow ink and she still wouldn't bring the arch up. She said she couldn't make the arch higher without making the whole brow thicker so there went that. Towards the end of treatment two she said I might need another touch up but told her I wasn't coming back. I can't pay for a mistake she is making every 6 months and most importantly I can't do the healing process every 6 weeks either. Also wasn't going to come back to someone I no longer felt was competent to do the work. After the second treatment healed, the left is somehow worse with the tail end being darker that front and the right side is still super faded out and much lighter. I have to still put makeup over them in most settings and the worst part is that no one will fix someone else's work so I'm stuck with these until they fade away. I'm very active and already was set with the idea of having touch ups regularly every 6 months but that's gone now. I am very disappointed in my experience at CB because I thought I had done enough research in all brow studios and was very excited to have mine done there and I certainly thought I was in good hands with someone you trained." read more

I tried the brown lamination and tinting for the first time. Also it was my first time going to this place. Teegan created magic on my brows. They are thin and light in color and she talked me through the process and gave me some advice - don't go to a nail salon to get your brows done! I plan to go back in 6 weeks to get them redone. I liked that I got several appointment reminders. It was supposed to be an hour appointment but it really only took 40 minutes. The place is clean, everyone was friendly and it was definitely worth my money. read more

Love love love this place! It's so cute, the staff are very friendly, and the energy of the place is just right. I made an appointment on the 9th with Sherrylyn for ombre brows, and I absolutely loved how it came out! Sherrylyn was the best. She explained the process thoroughly before my service and the aftercare for my brows afterwards of the service. Definitely recommend her for future services, worth every penny! read more

My first time here was exceptional!! I just had a bad experience with someone else and Sherrylyn was so warm and kind and caring. She took her time making it perfect and doing the right thing for me (tweezing instead of waxing for example cuz I had an event coming and sensitive skin). I also overheard other employees talking and they also seemed so nice. I've been following their work on Instagram, check it out, it's perfection!! This is definitely my new place :) read more

Thank you so much for everything you did for me *adding to my original review from a few months ago* This place is the ONLY place that I trust to work on my brows and lips! Nancy is very professional and always goes above and beyond for each of her clients. I live in Ohio and travel to Gilbert Arizona a couple times a year specifically to see Nancy and let her do my touch ups like she's that good! Nancy is amazing! Her eyebrow skills are top notch. In addition to knowing all the latest techniques and using the latest products, Nancy is always perfecting her craft with constant education. Her prices are well worth it, don't bother trying to save a few hundred with sub par artist, you'll end up asking Nancy to fix your eyebrows. I made that mistake, but Nancy helped my eyebrows out. Get it done right the first time with Nancy, you won't regret it!!! In addition to eyebrows, Nancy and her team are these at eyelashes as well! Nancy also does permanent make up as well! These ladies have done it again!!! I started off with getting my eyebrows microbladed by the talented Nancy and could not be more happy! A year later, my brows still look amazing. I have not needed a touch up since. Her work is truly one of a kind, she takes her time and is a perfectionist with what she does. I work as an aesthetician and have seen many clients with beautiful brows done else where but fade a few months later. Take it from me, spend the extra money for quality, LASTING work. A few months ago, I was a bridesmaid in my friends wedding. I wanted to get my lashes done because well... people cry in weddings and I was not about to be up there with fake lashes hanging off my face! I was sad to see Nancy didn't do lashes so much anymore but she recommended Anna to me. Again people, another artist at work here! Anna was so thorough, she too is a perfectionist! Even after we finished, she added a few more lashes, such attention to detail! So, what I thought was going to be a one time thing for the event, turned into a routine. There I was, every 2-3 weeks finding myself back for a lash fill asking for bigger, longer, more dramatic lashes than the last time. Who doesn't wanna wake up beautiful with perfect brows and lashes?! Flash forward to today: Nancy talked me into getting my top eyeliner done. I was nervous at first, having someone so close to my eyes. It also meant I had to stop doing lash extensions for a while. But, fear not, Nancy has gentle hands and a gentle soul for us nervous Nelly's. The treatment barely hurt and was done quicker than I thought it would take. The healing process was a breeze, I was able to work the next day without anyone noticing any swelling or redness at all. I am fully heal and can't wait for my touch up to look even more radiant than before. These girls are wonderful, they have great bedside manner and are very personable. They make you want to come back for more. I'm running out of things to enhance! read more

I called an asked for an experienced person. The person on the phone was rude to me. That was the first red flag. I sat for hours getting permanent eyeliner. A month later, it is imperceptible. I was told that after the 2nd appointment I would see results. I gave a deposit for a second appointment. A month later, I got several reminders, but needed to reschedule. The website said it was impossible to reschedule online. There was no phone number to call on the website. I kept trying to find the number but had lost it. Today, She surfaced, after I tried texting, calling and emailing to reschedule. I explained to her what happened and she responded to me as if I was lying to her. She is keeping my deposit. I don't care because I won't fight with someone who gives such poor service. Let her keep the deposit, I don't want to go back after this. As you can see, there is virtually no trace of eyeliner after a 3 hour appointment. Save your money, time and discomfort. read more

I love contour brows specifically Anna who does my lash extension! I was trying to find a new lash place and I came upon this place and Anna helped me figure out what type of lash extension type was best for me. She is super helpful and knowledgeable and was able to get me exactly what I wanted. I had the pleasure of traveling all the way from San Diego, CA to take a 3 day permanent brow class with Nancy at Nu Beauty Studio. While I could have done a class in my state, I've been following Nancy's work for awhile now and love her results and techniques. I always wanted to add this service to my career (I'm a makeup artist) so finding the right person to learn from is extremely important to me. Nancy is a perfectionist and her professionalism shows in her work. I was extremely excited for this opportunity to learn from the best in the industry and it was worth every penny. The course was well thought out and organized. She broke everything down from the business perspective, to education and most importantly lots of hands on lessons (Live model was also provided). For me the best way to learn is to actually see it and do it. She made it easy to follow and she was there every step of the way. No rushing was involved and it was so much fun!!! The kit she provided to her students is amazing and what I love most is that she was honest. You can tell she's very passionate about her job and was ready for her students to succeed as well. I love her work so much that at the end of the course I also had her do my eyebrows! I'm so in LOVE with it. The shape and color was perfect. I'm so happy that I made this decision to learn from Nancy. She still checks up on me and made it clear that she in within reach if I ever need any refreshers. I can't wait to start this new journey and am glad I have her as my teacher. Thank you Nancy at Nu Brows Beauty Studio! read more

Nancy is a life saver! I'm so in love with my brows and I'm even more in love with the fact that they are permanent!! I recommend contour brows because everyone, especially Nancy is a perfectionist. She will not let you leave until she is 100% satisfied! Not only that, she does what she knows is best for you. I wasn't a client for microblading, so instead she did my brows ombré. Me not knowing anything about permanent cosmetics did not know this and she took the time to explain to me why ombré was best for me. I live in north Phoenix and I brag to all my friends about contour brows. I tell them that they are totally worth the drive because they are! I 100% recommend contour brows for both clients and for those looking to learn! read more

I was trained by Nancy and Anna in Ombré Powdered brows and volume/classic lash extensions! I learned so much and it was truly one of the most inspiring weeks of my life! I took a 4 day beginner training with Nancy for brows and 2 day training with Anna for lashes-- these ladies don't withhold any information. They will tell you all of their mistakes so that you can avoid it and all the things they've learned along the way so you can succeed. I also loved the fact that it was private training because it felt more personal and they can really focus on me and point out the things i need to work on. I've been in the game for 4 months and still learning but i wouldn't be so proud and confident of my work if it wasn't for them! Highly recommend their training read more

iiii loveeee Nancy's work!... I am not over exaggerating ladies. I'm telling you now!. I'm just a new client who she refused at first , but then she's a great person who understand my situation and accepted me even though she doesn't do other artist work... I am not shy to admit that I beg her to provide me a service. Because I was not very happy of the outcome from the previous artists .... Nancy's quality of work is very precise that shows a lot that she loves what she do... She explain everything from the product she use , and what she is going to do step by step. so that's makes me feel more comfortable with her procedure. So for some ladies who's scared with permanent tattoo make up, well don't be. Because you're in good hands. PLUS SHE DOESN'T USE CHEAP INK and AFTER CARE PRODUCTS because I can tell . she only did it once and the pigment is visible after the healing process specifically on my lips .... To my artist Nancy, thank you again so much for doing me a huge favor. I know all woman have their own unique natural beauty, but I can't thank you enough for bringing back my confidence again. Thank you! Thank you ! Thank you! From the bottom of my heart. read more

Nancy and her team are true professionals and represent the business extremely well. From my initial consultation appointment until post-service appointment for my touch ups, i felt at ease. I always see pictures of beautiful brows come from the work of Contour Brows, and I believe that is their norm. Unfortunately, I had a different experience. The artist that worked on my brows was In training. Due to a lack of oversight from the owner, she basically gave me "double brows" on each side. She had not done work on someone that already had microblading on the brows before. The owner, Nancy, did not oversee the process adequately and now after 4 attempted saline removals, laser tattoo removal, and almost a year of "waiting it out", I still have double brows. Nancy was focused on blaming her student instead of taking ownership of the fact that she did not provide the proper oversight to this trainee. I've paid for all the procedures to try and fix my brows with Contour Brows and and the cost to get the laser tattoo removal elsewhere. I have never been offered reimbursement for the money, even just the money to Contour Brows. Nancy had an uninterested attitude about helping me get this corrected. I felt like she was basically saying. ..sucks for you, too bad. My rating is based off her lack of ownership of the situation, lack of trying to solve it for me, lack of consideration of the money I paid for it, and just letting me deal with it. read more

Contour Brows - Reddish area Under and above the brow arch are left of old microblade. Blonde middle section is the 1 session color with Contour Brows. - Permanent Makeup Near Me - Gilbert, Arizona

Nancy is going to me my brow person for life! Two years ago I got "permanent" tattoo on my brows. It helped a little to make my brows look more filled in since they're really thin. Ironically, I have had to laser all over because of too much hair elsewhere... but brows were getting too thin. Figures, right?! The tattoo got faded very quickly partially because I asked the other person to go super light since I was unsure of what I wanted and did not want the tattoo look. This summer I wanted to try again, but I wanted microblading and found Nancy's webpage. Nancy did such a perfect job adding hair strokes that I did not want to go back for a touch up! They looked so perfect and I got lots of compliments. Even today, one day after the touch up, I had someone ask me for Nancy's info and number. I told the person inquiring, "My brows are too dark now, but they'll look better when they heal." She said, "They're perfect!" I especially appreciated Nancy's attention to detail. She uses modern technology to measure to make sure she's getting the brows just right. My brows have always been a bit uneven, and she did a great job trying to get them more even. As soon as my brows are done healing, I hope to add before and after pictures. Choosing someone to do permanent work on your face is so scary, but you really can trust Nancy. She's awesome! read more

I've had Trichotillomania since I was 8 years old. I haven't had eyebrows for at least 20 years which causes me anxiety on a daily basis. Did I draw my brows on right? If I'm sweating or rub my face I'm worried the brows have smeared or come off. When I get in my car at the end of my work day I can see where my glasses have rubbed off some of the penciled in brows. I'm always sure to get out of bed to put my brows on before my other half gets out of bed... and at times when we're intimate I'm stressing over my brows too. You may be thinking this is TMI but I want you to understand just how much angst my Trich has caused me over the years. A few years back I nearly got eyebrows tattooed, but I chickened out...and for that I'm glad. When I heard about Microblading and did research I was amazed at how natural this appears. I reviewed YouTube videos of the procedure and of women with my form of OCD. I didn't see anyone express regret... it was all After a lot of stewing I finally made the decision to just do it. I searched Yelp for places near me .. and then looked for ratings.. and that is how I found Nancy Nu Brows and Lash. I booked my appointment and off I went. She made me feel comfortable immediately. She took time to explain the process. She allowed me to look after each step. I had very little discomfort and the conversation was easy. She did an awesome job. I received the microblading with mist highlighting. Day two I looked odd because it oxidized and was dark (I'm fair skinned) but day 3 it had lightened up a bit and started looking more normal. Today is day 4 and it's looking better with each day. If you're in Gilbert, East Mesa, AJ, Queen Creek or Chandler and you suffer from. Trich or just have thin/no brows, I highly recommend Nancy Nu. The reviews aren't exaggerated. Now I am pondering eyeliner... read more

So, like many Asian women, I've always had very sparse and thin eyebrows but have always colored in everyday to create the illusion of thickness... as I get older and older, I'm tired of doing it every morning! With kids and life in general, it's really become a daunting task, and not to mention, they look different everyday. Am I right, ladies??! Anyways, a couple of months ago, I started looking into microblading, and after much research, I decided it's definitely what I wanted to do. I came upon Nancy Nu's website through Yelp, I believe, because she has a PERFECT rating... and then when I saw her gallery of eyebrow results, my search for the right person ended there! In every photo, the eyebrows were clean, beautifully arched, and precise. I was still anxious about pain (since I don't even have tattoos) and how my brows would ultimately turn out, but I committed myself, made the appointment, and put the deposit money down so I wouldn't back out... and I'm so, so happy I did! Nancy is so friendly, easy to talk to, and is really an expert in this field. I told her I wanted microblading, and she educated me fully on both microblading and shading. She explained the difference between the two and she suggested shading would be a better decision. I totally trusted her advice and am so thankful for her wisdom! Nancy applies numbing cream so you barely feel anything at all. You do feel a slight uncomfortable about an hour into it but it's not painful. She checks in regularly to make sure you're okay. Afterwards, she's very thorough in explaining the after care instructions and she equips you with all of the after care healing products. She advised your eyebrows will look dark at first but will lighten up considerably... All in all, I'm so satisfied with the results. It's only day 3 and they look fantastic!! You can tell she is a true artist, so experienced in her craft, and I'm so happy I came to Nancy. She's my brow lady for life!!! I may even consider eyeliner next! I would recommend Nancy to anyone interested in enhancing their beauty, you will not be sorry! Thank you, Nancy, muaahhhh! read more
