Had a really nice experience getting a pedicure here today. I had a little wait - but that allowed me to soak and enjoy the massage chair. The technician I had, Michelle, did a really nice job! The $20 pedicure included a sugar scrub, hot stone massage and regular massage - WOW...these are usually add-ons. The place looked clean and everyone was really nice...and for $20 - why not! read more

I love 4D nails I have been going to this nail salon for over 4 years. The new owners Henry and Vivian are so nice and take care of my whole family. They provide outstanding service. They are very good about time and the quality of service is excellent. My favorite our Gels because they last about 3 weeks before needing to come back to get my nails re done. Overall I'm very pleased and happy with the new owners and suggest this nail salon to anyone who is reading this. All the nail techs are very nice as well and will give you exactly what you ask for. Three stars, they give my mother great care but the owner (I think it's the owner), is constantly giving me crap. I once got my acrylics done here and one fell off so I took the rest off, he doesn't let me live it down. I keep telling him I help train horses, if I'm tightening a strap and the 1,200lbs animal runs off I can get my nail torn off. This happened a YEAR ago and every now and again he still brings it up. Dang dude sorry for looking out for my safety... read more

Came here to get a full set, which I haven't had in about 10 years... my cuticles weren't pushed back, the skin around my nail bed wasn't trimmed well. The lady seemed rushed to get to her next client. I'll definitely try another place for my fill. read more

I met up with a friend for pedicures. We made appointment at 5pm a few days before. When I showed up at 5:05, I found that that they where all set up for both of us, next to each other. We had some major catching up to do!!! I just did the basic pedi with hot stones. My girl was awesome, she did her thing as we talked away, at one point the massage felt so good I had to stop chatting. Lol. As we where getting ready to leave I smudged my polish, totally my fault. One of the works saw and quickly fixed it for me with out me asking, I was actually telling him it's totally fine. I felt bad for Messing with it. The are nice, helpful, I didn't feel rushed, massage was great. They are clean, tools are clean, foot baths had covers. I will be going again. read more

There is a nail salon on every corner it seems, especially in the East Valley . . . and I have tried mnost of them. Recently I happened to find a new little salon called 4D Nails that is very special. It is a bit hard to find ~ it hidden behind and to the Northeast the CVS, near a Chase Bank off Warner and Lindsey in Gilbert, AZ. Once you do find it though it is worth remembering for the following reasons: 1. It is extremely clean. 2. The husband and wife team who own and run the salon are so charming and remember your name after just one visit. I have referred several other friends and neighbors to them ~ they all report the same thing ~ After one visit they are called by name the second time in. 3. The wife is an amazing artist ~ the designs she paints on the nails are some of the finest I've ever seen. 4. The prices are very reasonable . . . and because they have only been open 3 months they are still offering the Grand Opening special of 20% off the published rates. 5. I broke a nail and stopped in quick to get a repair ~ they wouldn't accept any money for it ~ they insisted they didn't charge 'friends' for misfortune . . . they explained they make their money on loyal customers, not charging someone for the misfortune of a broken nail. I will be a loyal customer/'friend' for a long time with people who have that kind of business philosophy. Blessings to them as they grow their business. I went here yesterday to get my nails done for my birthday with a friend. We went because we saw the groupon now deal that was 38$ for manicure and 'delux' pedicure. I made an appointment and off we went. When we got there, the man who took our appointment was very friendly and had us pick out our polish and go sit in their massage chairs. So I had Max and he was a very nice (soft spoken) guy. He did a really good job, I learned he used to do some kind of massage and so he is the guy to get if you are coming in, He took his time with me and we chatted about different things, his family and whatnot. Now, as nice as Max was, the guy who did my friend's nails was rude. I don't know his name (no name tag), but seriously, he seemed upset to be there, he criticized her color choice and said "I have to be honest"....but he didn't suggest any other colors or ask my friend if she wanted to switch colors....pretty not cool. Also, he left her nails jagged and she felt like it was a pretty weak service. On top of that, they gave us fliers at the end of the appointment for discounts and they were offering what we had gotten for 30$! and said regular price is 35$! So....the groupon now deal was a scam....it was MORE than what they charge in house (didn't know that cuz they don't have prices listed online as far as I could tell). Now, I'm not terribly mad about that, because I bought the groupon thinking it was fair for the service...but that's not cool on the business's part. Lastly, one of my nails already chipped (and I did not do anything with it)...so I wonder about their product. So Max was awesome....but I don't know that I would go back here. Update: Just 3-4 days after my manicure I have chips all over the place! I do not do any work that is hard on my hands. What a waste of money. I will NOT be back...sorry guys. read more

If you're okay with settling for mediocrity, then this is the place for you. Unsanitary, lazy service. The girl used the same cuticle clipper that she used on my pedicure for the manicure. She didn't even bother to wipe the clippers clean so the collected cuticle bits were trapped away in the crevices of the clippers. The "drying station" is a greasy table where everybody places their nails to dry by the distant heat of a dinky light bulb that hangs overhead. You'll be waiting at least an hour if you opt to dry your nails this way as the heat emitted by the light bulb does nothing but shine light on your less-than-great manicure. There are better, cleaner, FRIENDLIER places. read more

This place was just okay. A coupon arrived in the Mail-Pak (or whatever you call it) and I decided to give it a try since my poor feet were in bad need of a pedicure. The loss of one star is for the profound lack of nail color option, and another star for the short pedicure. It was just okay...I got it a week ago and already need another one. The chairs were comfortable and I was able to get one pretty quickly, but I don't think I'll get the pedicure from the coupon again. May as well spend the money...get what you pay for. read more

Not Impressed!!! I stopped in to get a pedi was told it was a 15 min wait....45 MINUTES LATER they finally started- and a day later my polish started to peel!!! I also got a full set and they look horrible. I tried to explain what I wanted but it was obvious he had no idea what I was talking about. I really wasn't happy with the quality of service at this nail salon for a couple of reasons. 1) They eyebrow wax that I had done was a mess, and my mom's was even worse. Eyebrows weren't even, and they blow on the wax which is just unsanitary. 2) I got a gel manicure that just showcases the inability to paint nails. There is polish on my skin, the edges are missing polish in some areas, and my nails were not cut before she started. Also, she made me bleed and the gel is pulled up in some places. They're really only getting 2 stars because they attempted to be friendly. I don't suggest going here. read more

I found a Groupon for a mani pedi so I came in early Sunday morning. Most nail places are closed on Sunday, so I was happy to find a place open. Everyone was so friendly. So many nail polish colors and brands to choose from. And just many options for gel polish. Jenny did an amazing job! She waxed my eye brows and they look perfect. Everyone there was so talented. Since moving to AZ, I have tried a few different salons and yearn for my place back home. But this place was recommended so I thought why not? I will say off the bat it is the cleanest salon I have been in since I arrived in AZ. sterile equipment. Nothing reused. Kudos to them. And I will say that the owner and his wife seem genuinely friendly. And the place is busy. But I got THE worst gelish job ever. My nails were a little longer than I liked so I told the worker that I keep them a little shorter. And i was getting ill from the fumes so i didnt pay as much attention as i should have I thought she squared off my beautifully rounded nails a little short but that can happen first time someone new does your nails. But the corners were so sharp, my hubs howled and said they were lethal weapons. Then, to make matters worse, the gelish was over my fingertips and under my nails. So now I have polish stuck to my skin and it is not going to come off easily I fear. And to be honest, they look like crap. It s the first bad French mani I have ever had. Maybe if I had the owner or his wife, I would try again but I don't think so. read more

Also mentioned I had my Bogo free appointment that I was promised because that was my next Wax service. They told me they cannot honor it because I did not come back in a few weeks. However, they were the one that turned me away due to antibiotics and told me I was not allowed to come back until I was off of them for two weeks. They told me they couldn't honor it because it was too long. I am a cosmetologist and have been in the beauty industry for almost 30 years. I would never give a gift card or offer service and then take it away due to a client being sick. That's saying like a gift card expires in a few months. I have been going to them for multiple Waxing services for months prior to this. They said that there is nothing I could do. Very disappointed because I am the type of woman that stays with a licensed professional once I find somebody I like. I will now be moving on to other options and places now. I got the brazillian wax and they usually are painful for me, but she made it as painless as possible and I was grateful for that. She did a wonderful job and I can't wait to go back and recommend her to all my friends.

They did a fantastic job on the pedicure I got the first time, it's been 2 months and the nail polish still hasn't chipped all the way off. On the other hand, my main issue with this salon is the acrylics I got done. The nail tech was EXTREMELY rough on my nails, even after I said that the way she was filing my nails really hurt. I had to get them filled every two weeks when typically I can go close to a month between fills, but my acrylics kept getting caught on things and popping off. After trying another salon, the tech there (who was extremely gentle so I now know that I wasn't being overly sensitive) said that this salon had ground my natural nails down too thin as well as a whole laundry list of other things that explained why my acrylics stuck up at a 45 degree angle! the nails themselves didn't turn out too bad, except for a smudge on one of them that I didn't notice until I had driven back home. I had also asked for STILETTO, and they turned out more of an almond shape. I would come again for a pedicure, but I would not recommend getting acrylics done here. read more

To start, Victoria--who helps manage the salon and should know better--completely lacks the skills expected of a professional. She couldn't apply a basic gel manicure correctly, leaving my nails full of small micro-bubbles. Even after I pointed it out and she repeatedly redid them, the final result looked unprofessional and terrible. My experience with Von was even worse and frankly alarming. He rushed through the service and cut both of my cuticles and tried to blame me for them. As a nurse, what he did next appalled me: he tried to stop the bleeding by applying liquid Band-Aid, but touched the tip of the shared bottle directly to my open wound. Using an unsanitized bottle tip on an open wound is a massive cross-contamination and health hazard. Unacceptable safety and hygiene standards. Save your money and go somewhere that values both basic technical skill and proper sanitation. I will not be returning.

Two of my favorite nail technicians are Tracey and Richard, who always take great care of me. Richard is incredibly talented and detail-oriented. I understand that open seats don't necessarily mean a technician can take another client. He looked up at me and said, "Oops," and then suggested putting acrylic over the nail that he had just damaged. Every product applied afterward was burning the nail, which was extremely uncomfortable. He was also very rough throughout the service and came across as rude. To make matters worse, when I went to the front desk afterward, I watched the employees go back and forth arguing about how much they were going to charge me. I was ultimately overcharged for a service I have had done there before. I was also charged for a random nail repair after I had specifically been told I would not be charged because the technician himself had broken/damaged the nail. I have spent a lot of money and time at this salon, which makes this experience especially disappointing. I should not have to pay extra because of damage caused during my service, nor should I leave a salon with painful, damaged nails. After today, I unfortunately will not be returning.

I have had several levels of the pedicure service from the basic to the fullest service and all were awesome. The products used were first class and the outcome is well worth the modest price. As the photos show, they always have the salon tastefully decorated for upcoming holidays. They typically have soft ambient music playing to complement the relaxed atmosphere. My wife gets the gel polish manicure. My wife has very sensitive fingers, and Holly does a great job of being gentle.
