I used to get my nails done at this place but since this place has had new ownership, the customer service at this salon has gone downhill. I will say though, my assigned nail technician, Cindy, was very lovely and unproblematic. Unlike the other workers, they would try to pressure you and upsale to get services that you never intended to get. Plus, I had a feeling the lady that ran the front desk, her name is Kim, I believe, she made it clear that she disliked me every time I came by for an appointment. Mind you, I came with decency and kindness, because that's how I naturally am as a person, but something told me that she does not really like Black people or people of color; so definitely didn't feel welcomed. Ever since I had the last encounter, last summer, I have not been back. I would definitely think twice about going there, especially considering if you don't feel like being annoyed or antagonized by the employees. read more

My only issue is the person who did my nails I'm assuming the manager or owner because she was consistently up and down up and down the entire time doing my nails answering phone calls, checking in people checking out people so she really didn't take the time to decently do my nails. First of all let me say I have going to L&B nails since it's conception. Cindy is an amazing nail tech. And we have created such a good report that I have stayed with her through two ownership changeovers. However the new owner is lacking in customer service. I always request Cindy to do my fill in and pedicure. And the owner is very difficult to accept the fact that I asked for and only want Cindy to work with me. This may seem selfish, but after 4 years working with Cindy I'm not open to a change. This rating is nothing against Cindy as she is the best nail tech they have there! However the management leaves a lot to be desired. If you're looking for a nail tech here or someone new make sure you ask her Cindy you will not be disappointed! However do not expect three star or four star or five star service from the owner/ front desk Manager. read more

I am now 30 days in with the nails I got done here and they're still beautiful! I did a fill myself (with solid builder gel at home) after two and a half weeks and changed the color but you can see the original shape is still present and they are SO strong! I haven't had a chip or break and I plan to come here again to get a new set when the extension grows out. I normally do a fill myself but with other salons, I typically have one nail break after filing everything down but these were done so well by Steven that they still look as amazing as the original set. Nobody was waiting but still received a very unenthusiastic "yeah, that's fine. You can wait." Didn't wait long. Paid 140 for a mani pedi w gel. Pedi included 4 light strokes with stones which is apparently what this location passes off as a hot stone massage. My toes came out decent looking. My nails are globby with a tattered design. Some of the cuticles were painted, there are some bubbles and some of the polish is scratching off. These were done YESTERDAY. read more

First off, my technician was 30 minutes late and they called me 10 minutes before my appointment. Then i show him my reference picture and my nail shape looks nothing like them then he continued to disagree with me when i was clearly upset. I was scheduled for an acrylic set and a pedicure, after my set was done i had to wait 20 minutes for someone to do my toes. The whole experience was very unprofessional and i read great reviews about this place so it was quiet a let down read more

don't bother. first time there today, pedi and gel mani. Absolutely the worst. Don't think they know what smooth and even means. Didn't have toes painted, they've uneven and nails are jagged and rough. Manicure is same. It cost me over $79 for listed $30 pedicure (they charged $35) and $7 to removed the gel polish which was on my nails. Evidently you're supposed to have them just leave the old gel polish on. Do these people not understand professional nail service and allow customers to walk out with horrible nails? Ugh. Too bad I can't leave a super bad rating. read more

This was the first time and it was for my grand daughter. I asked them if they knew how to do dip powedered nails. And the guy who took my called said yes they do provide this type of nail service. When we arrived the gentleman at the desk checked us in and we repeated what I wanted for my GD, which was dip powedered nails. So I went to look at the colors and after my gd picked what she wanted, there was one that we never had seen or rather heard off and we both wanted to know what it was, I would have asked the nice girl that was offering water, but she was walking a customer to the back. The guy in front was non-chalant, more as if he didn't comprehend. The girl did come back and stated they are a bit behind, and I told her no problem. Finally the nice girl called my gd and she went to sit at the table, I made sure to let the technician know that we want dip powered nails and all she said was yes, yes. Ok great! I went to sit while my gd was getting her nails done, next thing she calls me over as the technician had a question. And it was the length of the nails and she had put acrylic nails on her! That is not what I wanted on her. I told her she is supposed to get dip powedred nails and she just looked at me like she didn't understand me, at this point I told my gd, just get them done, since she already spent more thatn 15 mintues at the table and told her short! We will head over to a place that knows and understand what 'Dip Powdered nails" are. We did not want fake nails on her! So we are just waiting for them to grow out more and we will have them removed and apply powedered nails. This is what dip Powedred nails are. What Are Dip Powder Nails? Also commonly referred to as SNS nails, the dip powder nail technique involves dipping the nail into colored powder (or brushing the dip powder onto the nail), then using a clear sealant on top. The result is a longer-lasting manicure that can remain chip-free for up to a month. read more
