The girl who did my pedicure didn't listen and was stupid. She ended up making mistake after mistake. I've been going here for 3 months and it was ok. This time tho, I'll never go back. I told her and showed her a special cream I use for my feet and the other tech told her also. 5 seconds later, she drenched my legs in the lotion they use, instead of the tube of cream I showed her. The other tech yelled at her. If that wasn't bad enuf, she wasted 1/4 tube of cream that cost me $42 because she didn't listen!!! If this wasn't bad enough, the tech doing my gel manicure was just unbelievable. I have a gel manicure every two weeks! This is what he did to my fingers! See photos. Also, He kept trying to put the UV light thing on the corner of the shelf next to me and it kept falling down down, despite me telling him it wasn't steady, nicking my still wet nails! Walked in and was immediately turned off by the strong chemical smell. I have been to a few nail spas but this was the strongest I've experienced. The people working there were nice, but there was an incident while I was getting my pedicure. I got the "classic" pedicure. My nail tech was nice, but she used the yellow scrub for the dead skin WAY too hard. To the point where it broke my skin and bled because of that. It's been 6 hours now, and my cut still hurts. Then, she left all of the sudden. I found out that she was helping another customer..... Which is fine, but there was no communication. In that moment I was very confused. Before my nail tech left, I asked if she can get me a bandaid since I was bleeding, but she was preoccupied and could not bring me one. Luckily, the guy working there gave me a bandaid after all. For my hands, I got Gel and the same nail tech did a good job with that. But since I was in pain the whole time, the experience was not great. My sister asked the main lady (manager) to give me a discount for my minor injury, and she did which was nice, but thinking back my pedicure should have been free. I am still in pain with a cut, due to a rough service by a nail tech. In my opinion, the manager should have taken the step and told me that the service was covered. Without us asking. My sister, my Mom and my Aunt seemed pretty happy with their experiences. I'm glad they had a good time. Sadly not me. Overall the experience was not good for me. Maybe this incident was a one time thing, and my nail tech had a lot on her plate.... But the follow up was not what I hoped for. read more

Last time I visited, my experience was amazing! I came in today for an acrylic fill, and wanted my nails shorter. I was told the length I wanted wasn't able to be done. Even though I've had that length at several other salons. Once I was told that I asked for just a removal instead. I would rather give my nails a break than get too long of nails that make my job harder. Then I get asked why I didn't say that at the beginning, even though I didn't intend on that from the beginning. I was still nice about everything, but felt as though the whole energy shifted after I said I'd rather just remove. He proposed doing a different shape and I had to say multiple times that I didn't intend not like or want that shape. Now I'm looking at my nails, and I understand that after an acrylic removal your nails will look rough. But what gets me is that there was acrylic left on the nail, not even removed. I have been coming here for 6 years. I never once had a broken nail. The last 3 times I came in Sunny did my nails and I have had to go back in to get them fixed more than once and they charged me to fix it! After breaking two more nails this weekend I discovered one of my nails to be infected. I'm very disappointed as I said I have been coming here for 6 years. I do know they changed owners right at the time of this happening so for about a month now. I would like to continue to come here as it is convenient for me, but not after this experience. I've been here a couple times, the staff is friendly and makes appropriate suggestions but aren't pushy. They also have an awesome selection of very glittery nail polishes that I'm in love with. The massage chairs are the best I've ever experienced, which is great because I have MS so I can't always use the massage option. This was literally the most frustrating experience I've ever had getting my nails done. I went in without an appointment so I was very understanding when they said to return in an hour. I go home and return in an hour and still sat there for ANOTHER 40 MINUTES and still didn't get my nails done. I left at that point, I mean wtf? Why tell me to return in an hour and not be at all ready to do my nails??!! I'm going to a wedding tomorrow out of state and honestly wasted my afternoon dealing with these people. They weren't pushy about doing the upgrades for any of my services (I didn't get gel, and went with a basic pedicure). I've been going here off and on for a few years, but today was my last time. One of my toes needed a do-over and they wouldn't. Also, about eight weeks a ago or so, one of the manicurists was overdoing the electric tool on my cuticle, and dug ridges into my nails, and it hurt. I kept telling her it was too much. I am still waiting on the ridges to grow out. Also, today, the tech was kind enough to let me see three different colors on, however, when she removed the polish, I could smell the remover, of course, and she didn't clean it off! I asked her to put alcohol on them, and she told me that alcohol is the same thing. There is a big difference between alcohol and acetone! She got the bottle labeled "alcohol" and sprayed on my toes then. I'd they put acetone in their alcohol and label it alcohol, that should be a major violation of health department rules/laws! It's a shame when one is spending their hard-earned cash on a service, and they can't get the service right. I already have chosen another salon that will now get my business. read more

Unfortunately I really wanted to like this salon and the people... but ... then they wouldn't stand behind their service. Got a fill on a Monday, the lady who did my fill was very rude from the jump. I wear my acrylics curved and just a little thicker then normal because of my job. I had smashed my pointer finger so I had pulled off the nail and wanted it replaced. She totally made it look different then the rest of the nails and when I pointed it out, her response was I didn't tell her!! I said your the professional should they look as similar as possible.. moving on.. the day after my fill my thumb started cracking so I went back to have it fixed and by the 4th day I had several fingers that had cracked .. maybe bad product?? I have been having my nails done for over 30 years.. I know this is not normal. So I went back to see if she would please fix them !! After arguing with me and being completely rude she attempts to fix them .. now my nails really look like crap and she charged me another $55.. The owner does great work , but I've been unable to get him .. I also take my mom with me and they are genuinely just rude staff!! Just a buyer beware... With so much competition..
