This is my favorite crew compared to other nail establishments!!! Their prices are better!! If you're using cash, they provide a discount. They accept gift cards, credit cards and cash. There's plenty of parking onsite since it's literally next to the cheapest Frys grocery store that I've personally come across. It's worth the drive to go here because of the cleanliness, professionalism, prices as well as, the location. This location is somewhat of a one stop shop for me personally. He did a wonderful job made sure we liked and wanted anything changed which we did not. He was so nice and not in a hurry like most places.. I came in for a pedicure on a Monday and there was no wait. There was a total of 3 nail techs. One was doing a customer's nails, the 2nd person was finishing up a pedicure and the third person seated me. I waited about 10-15 minutes for the nail tech to finish the other customer's pedicure before starting on mine. The pedicure looked a little sloppy. ( see picture). And I always do white since it's just simple. The white just doesn't look smooth when she put it on, and she nicked me a little on my toe on my left foot. The price for a pedicure was a little more pricey than I'd like to pay. The 3rd nail tech came back from grocery shopping, so I'm not sure why she didn't do my pedicure instead of having me wait. I also didn't see them wipe down each chair after each customer like I've seen a lot of nail salons do. I also didn't like that they charge a 3% fee for non cash payments. My girlfriend and I had 11:00 appts for pedis. We weren't seated until noon. So frustrating. K so we got our pedis and remembered Vincent (owner) charges 3% for non-cash payments which includes Neon Nail gift cards. That's right! 3% So NOW that salons are open for hair and nails he is charging $5 per person for sanitizing the chairs or feet spas upon which we sit!! I sent an e-m to Gov Ducey today about this surcharge for doing what every responsible owner should be doing. It seems it's harder to find a good nail tech and salon than it is to find a doctor! This nail salon is one of the best I've ever been to! I've had both a full set of dip nails and pedicure the first time and went back in again yesterday for dip again and another pedicure. $40 for dip. I'll take it! Clean and friendly. This Owner truly cares about the work that leaves his salon along with going above and beyond to make sure you're happy and taken care of. It's rare find! He's been the new owner for about 7 months now. I'm one of the pickiest when it comes to my nails. I want to relax and walk out the door loving my nails. A pedicure, nice glass of wine and a massage. Angela is amazing!! I've been to 2 other places for dip nails, and now that I've found Angela / Neon Nails I'm never going back to the others! I have no idea what she does differently, but unlike other places I've gone, as these grow out a little, they never get snagged on anything. They also don't feel super thick like the other times I've had dip nails done in other shops. Yes they do prefer if you pay (or at least tip) in cash, but I 100% understand that because they're a small business & it helps reduce credit card fees. read more

I really wanted this shop to be the one since I recently move to SunLakes. First visit the Tech' did good job. 2nd visit was horrible work. Nicked my cuticles repeatedly during manicure. Pedi was just ok. I told the Owner I hope it was isolated occurance when I called. He personally ( next visit) did manicure. Every Nail had either chipped or broke within 2-3 days. The Pedicure ( ?) was basically a polish change and whole process was 15 minutes. (Done by another Tech). SERIOUS, Nothing !!!!!!!! Charged for full pedi ( they were in hurry to close early ( I had an appt ) 3 chances and complete strike out! I am back to my tech' of several years and gladly drive the 21 miles. Worth it. I moved here recently from San Antonio and obviously this was one of the first places I tried because I can walk there. I wasn't over the moon about it so kept trying place after place. I had been getting acrylic done and decided to try the dipping powder because my nails were so weak and thin from years of acrylic. I decided to give this place another try and I am in freaking love with my nails!! Natalie was my nail tech today and she did a fabulous job! She was very thorough and detailed. After 6 months of living here I finally found my permanent nail tech. In addition to being detailed and thorough, she had great costumer service skills and was super friendly, talkative and welcoming. I am sold and will never go anywhere else. Thanks, Natalie. P.S. Great place! I've never had to wait very long for a walk-in, maybe 20 mins at most. The staff is friendly and does a great job. Prices are consistent with similar salons. Parking can be tough in this shopping center, but that isn't the fault of the salon. read more

I really wish I could give this place 5 starts because the do a good job but I have to take away 2 because of how inconsistent the prices are. Every time I go in I get a full set of coffin shaped nails and EVERYTIME they charge me something different. Not to mention, a friend of mine goes to the same place and they charge her way less then I've notice myself paying. ALSO make sure to ask what costs extra before hand because they didn't tell me it would be an additional $10 for the shape until they were already glued and filed. read more

I've been going to Neon Nails for years and have always had great service. I used to get gels, but for the past year or so I only get dip nails. I love the pedicure chairs!!! Natalie is one of my favorite techs. They JUST got in a whole bunch of new dip colors. They are super pretty!! As for the review left by the person who said they showed up at 6:38 when Neon closes at 7 pm and were refused service, EVERY nail tech was extremely busy. I was there. They worked on my nails 20 minutes past closing and there were still clients in there. THAT HAPPENS sometimes at a nail salon!!!!!! If you show up 20 mins prior to closing and want a service that will take 45-60 minutes, I'm not sure what the logic is????? I appreciate that they keep a mini fridge stocked with water. I stopped by on a Friday afternoon and was able to get right in for a gel manicure. Nicki was my manicurist. She was very pleasant; we had nice conversation during my appointment. She took her time and did a nice job. The salon isn't very big, but it's clean. There were several other customers who mentioned they'd been visiting the salon for years. I went in for a removal of my gel manicure. I am used to technicians filing the gel coating off of my nail with a manual file and then soaking just the nail in acetone and wrapping up each finger in foil. The woman removed my gels using the filing machine (which is used for acrylic nails) and picked off the gel polish with her nails. I know that the filing machine is hurtful to the natural nail and so is picking the gel polish off. If I knew this is how they remove gel, I could have picked them off myself at home for free. She also soaked my entire hand in a bowl of acetone. Now my skin is dry and cracked. I understand that the filing machine and picking off the polish is the fastest route but definitely not the most gentle. I told her that I don't want to damage my natural nail, but she continued with the filing and picking. At the end I was left with dry, cracked hands, damaged nails, and pieces of gel polish still on my nails. When I get to the register to checkout she charges me $10 for a removal! I have been to way nicer salons and it is always $5 to remove gels. I was surprised to hear that this terrible service I received cost double than it should. I will not be returning back to this salon. read more
