I was skeptical at first being a man and going to a nail place but it was an awesome experience. I went and got a pedicure and was a little scared because my feet are very ticklish but it turned out to be fine. The ladies are great! My feet have never been smother and they look great. Well worth the price. To be honest I try to go back at least once every couple of months. I was also afraid of the cleanliness but was soon put at ease. The tubs are individually lined to keep it clean and thrown away after each client. I would highly recommend this place to all the men who are afraid or embarrassed. You won't regret it. read more

This place was so nice and friendly but I got the worst pedicure of my life. My mom recommended me to this place because she gets her nails done here but my pedicure is awful...he rushed my massage and messed up on my French pedicure that is so messy and nail polish is all over my toes. Then didn't even wait a few minutes for my toes to dry and rushed me out of my seat and at that point I just paid and left. Sad to say I won't be going back here :( read more

Love coming here for both waxing and nails. My eyebrows always come out amazing, and they always make sure I'm satisfy before getting up. The place is very clean and friendly. They offer you a water bottle while you wait. I've been there twice and was pleased the first time when I got a full set put on. I went back for a fill and she didn't put the acrylic very low on my nails so it looks like I've had them for a few days. My mom even said "those are new?! They look grown out already" when I showed them to her. The shape is very nice so I'll go back for a fill and see how it goes. I had a great experience at Platinum Nails. I only had an hour to get a mani-pedi and I asked if that was enough time. They were so nice and assure me that they would do my manicure and pedicure at the same time. The polish job they did on my nails is perfect. I have gone to other salons that the polish bubbles or they miss part of my nail. My toes and fingernails are perfect. I would like a bit harder foot rub but I will be back for a quality polish any time. They were very professional and nice and even offered a bottle of water when I first arrived. read more

I loved the way my nails looked the day of but then one of them broke off when I woke up the next day. Then the other 2 broke at work while typing on my computer. Nails have no quality their and are highly priced. On top of it they were talking about one of the other employees who works there like as if I was not there and new it was my first visit. Went here for the first time today. Needed a pedicure and some alone time really bad. Was able to get right in at 2pm on a Saturday. I signed in and they got me seated in nice nail chair and my toes soaking. I was a little bummed that my water was so cool by the time my tech was ready (8-10mins) but I like the water hot hot hot so that was a me thing. I got the $30 spa one and it was great I always need the foot grater because you know I live that flip flop life 24/7, and that was included. I also got a cute pineapple on my toes and they did a great job for my odd request. Only weird thing was a child awoken out of a back room from a nap and started grunting until one of the workers/Parent (I hope) came to the child's ad. But who doesn't love some small entertainment, she went and was quiet, no drama. Will be back in a few weeks. Oh the parking was a little crazy when I went but they have a lot in the back and a little walk way in the strip mall so it was easy to park my truck in the back and walk through. read more

Did a great job but took their sweet time. If you go in be prepared to waste a lot of time. They spent almost 2 hours for a fill. I've never had that much time taken for one. They would do a little and then just walk away for a while (like 10 minutes) and then do little more an then leave again. But once someone finally sat down and got it done, they did a great job shaping my nails and made sure it was done right. read more

i have been coming to platinum nails for a while now and every time i've gone it is just okay. I got my nails done in the beginning of October, the woman cut them shorter than i said i wanted them, then i requested i get coffin nails and they looked squared, the lady insisted that i get a design and i was fine with that, then she does the design and rushes through it, and it looked nothing like the picture that she said was "her work". mind you two nails had fallen off days after i had gotten them done. i go back to get a fill and the next day two nails break. i go back the day they break and they charged me to fix the nails the were suppose to stay on and didn't. Everyone there is not very focused on their clients but pursued their clients to spend more money and not actual tell them that something is going to cost more. i will no longer being going back there. for the love of god find a different nail salon. read more

We called to schedule 2 pedicures. They asked if we could come at 2:00 instead of our requested time. We agreed. We arrived a few minutes before 2:00 and they said they'd be with us in a few minutes. At 2:20 we were discussing how long we'd wait before leaving and a gal came over and led us to the chairs. She said it would be 5 min. until they'd start our pedicured. Then she & others continued working on other customers. At 2:30, with no sign they were ready to do our pedicures, we left. We will not return. Too many other nail salons in the area to try. Hopefully they will honor their appointments & be truthful to other customers. read more

Great atmosphere and very friendly and nice staff, but probably one of the worst full sets I've ever gotten. The technician who did my nails didn't shape them evenly and I had to ask him to tweak them multiple times. When applying the acrylic powder he didn't get close to the base of my nails on multiple nails. Another person applied my polish and it's messy, she missed the edges and the top glitter coat was only applied to the center, missing the base and the sides. I don't think I'll ever go here again which is unfortunate because it is a beautiful salon. read more

In the past I patronized this salon fairly regularly for waxing and the occasional pedicure. Yesterday I noticed the large banner out front proclaiming the salon is under new management. I'm sorry to say the service was so mediocre and staff acted like it had just been scolded and was taking it out on customers. I'm done with this place. This place was TERRIBLE! I called in advance bc me & a couple girls had to be in & out so I called inquiring about a mini pedi, the price & what it included. I was told they offered mini pedi's for $18 & that it was just a spa pedicure w/ nail polish application & nail trimming & cuticle cleaning. I made 3 appts & told them we'd have to be out w/in 30-45 min & they said that wouldn't be a problem. We get there & they said they don't have mini pedi's & their most basic package was $22. I told them we didn't want nor have time for the foot & leg massage so she dropped it to $20. Fine, whatever. Then the guy doing my pedi kept poking & pinching & getting aggressive when I kept jerking! When I told him I wanted a french pedi he switched w/ this girl & he did my gf's polish instead! He was awful. The polish was all pooled near her cuticle & all bumpy near the tip. Then the lady who did my french made the white lines uneven & got most of the polish on my skin instead of the nail on one of them. NEVER going back here again! read more

This place is horrible. The guy ripped my old acrylics off and used the electric file too rough to the point I pulled my hand away. Multiple times I said ow loudly yet he continued to be rough. I called before to ask how much a set of acrylics would be and I was quoted $22. But upon payment time, the price was $33. I tried to tell the man that I was quoted a different price over the phone & even showed him proof on my phone that I called and he denied it. Even though there were only 2 guys working there. $33 for a set of acrylic nails is ridiculous. Don't go there. Worst experience! read more

I used to go here regularly and stopped. Thought I'd give it a chance again because of the new ownership. Still very nice environment and people are friendly however the SAME problem exist. The NAIL POLISH!!! It's old and the colors are not current! PLEASE update your stock!!! No matter the color I select, they are constantly adding a thinning solution to the polish. Very disappointing. Also, the temperature setting in the place is awful. It's over 100 degrees outside and feels the same in there. Don't like the flies either. read more

I used to love to go here because of the atmosphere, but now that new owners took it over that don't even speak fluent English that is such a shame. I went in there probably 2 weeks ago to have a pedicure, manicure and a eyebrow wax. I usually get the stone massage with my pedicure but, the guy forget too, then on my nails which were long before I walked in, he trimmed them all the way down to the beginning of my fingers, didn't push back my cuticles at all, didn't file them smooth like before, what a shame. One week later, the nail polish was coming off already, that has never happened to me. I went back to let them know about my experience and how I was disappointed since I paid $75, the lady, whom I really don't know is the new owner or not, because I could not understand her too well, didn't not understand why I was complaining about my nails. I tired to explain I have been coming there for 5 years and never has this happened, she was not understanding my needs at all, I am heart broken that I will have to find another salon but, when a business doesn't care about their clients that is not a good thing.
