    Individual thin-crust pepperoni pizza.

A nice surprise, this place. One of the best pizza parlors I have been to and I've been to quite a few. I really like the pepperoni thin crust individual-size pizza. Service very good; friendly staff. Can refill drinks- I always get vanilla Coke. BTW, I don't live in San Francisco; will have to change that. I live in the San Fernando Valley.

Great ranch and a great pizza! Called ahead and the pizza was hot and ready when I picked it up! The place is cute with lots of tables, a real pizzeria feel! We needed a new pizza place and this one is it! We will be repeat customers

It was my first time trying this place, was great! I ordered by phone, and the service was excellent. The host who helped me when I went to pick it up was very kind. I'll be back soon!"

    Code 999 plus pepperoni

Completely adequate pizza for a Friday night. Other places In the area were not delivering so we settled with Pizza Man Dan's. Ordered a cheese pizza with code 999 for a $9.99 pizza added pepperoni, plus an order of mozzarella sticks for delivery. The total came to $28 ($5 delivery fee) and we tipped 15%. The pizza was delivered hot and was pretty good but the mozz sticks tasted as movie theater quality. They came with one container of cold marinara for dipping. Not totally sure we would order again but we are neither super satisfied nor totally unsatisfied with this order.

One of the best pizza places in Ventura County no matter which location you go to great thing about them is that they remain consistent.

Dry pizza and appetizers looked and tasted like they had been sitting all day. Food was cold. No wonder no one else was inside.

Like vintage Pizza Hut, when it was great. Nothing fancy, just good, consistent, American-style pizza at a decent price.

I just recently celebrated my birthday here in the private room and the staff were really attentive and helpful. I finally got to try their pizza and it was definitely delicious. Top drinks to try: yuzu lemon drop (sooo good), paper planes, and the cucumber smash! Appetizers: Mac n cheese balls are always a crowd pleaser and Brussel sprouts were my favorite. Mains: the chicken scallopini, the sand dabs!!! So good, and the beef short ribs!

Starting with the good... Ambience - Cozy and inviting. Service -- Warm, friendly and attentive. We were quite impressed with everyone who took care of our dining experience starting with the hostess, to our sweet server Danielle, the food runner and to the exceptional busser who kept our table cleared, water glasses filled, then packaged our leftovers. Kudos to Freda's for this. The Focaccia Rustico -- This was the best part of our meal. It came out freshly baked and so satisfyingly delicious as we dipped in the small bowl of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Portions - Generous. Parking - Lots of options nearby and free. The disappointments...(see pics) Food delivery - There was a long wait during our visit. We overheard a waitress tell a table who arrived after us that the kitchen was backed up. Gnocchi -- This did not look like the picture on their website. The gnocchi was perfectly cooked but was barely covered with sauce. My husband initially thought that they served me Mac n' Cheese by mistake. I could not taste the sun-dried tomato at all. The added shrimp was seared on only one side and was severely under seasoned. Then as we drove home, I notice that the price we were charged ($25+$9 (shrimp)=$34) did not match the menu or the website that noted $24+$8=$32. This overcharge was minor but added to the overall disappointment. Braised Short Rib - This was closer to the website but with far less au jus. The carrots were terrible. They were not roasted, tasted boiled and had a rubbery texture. The short rib was fork tender but very salty. The mashed potatoes were good. We skipped dessert. Sadly, we won't be returning.

Much to my surprise, it was about as lively as I had remembered it. The Alley was established during Covid times and offered a retreat to escape from the humdrum of the homestead. These days, its friendly vibe welcomes neighbors and visitors with a backyard setting strewn with twinkle lights and family-style tables. It's a causal scene and easy to soak in the live music, sunlight/moonlight, and neighborly banter. The layout resembles an alley with shops on either side, big open doors invite you to grab something to eat, sample a drink, or shop for handmade gifts. On one side, you've got craft brews and coffee roasters. On the other side, it's local wines and piping hot pizzas. Dogs are welcome all around. At the center of it all, there's live music on the weekends. Modeled after a Beer & Wine Garden concept, The Alley features Enegren Brewery (beer), Lucas Sellers (wine), California Coffee Republic (java), Fire & Vice (pizza), and The Craft House (non-alcoholic tchotchkes). As a self-proclaimed wino, I opted for a sampling of the Lucas Sellers Wines. Ashley, who was behind the bar and top of the pours, gave me good suggestions and offered anecdotes about each wine on tap. At the end of the night, my light pinot paired perfectly with the Mushroom Arugula pizza from Fire & Vice. And I felt right at home, surrounded by friends.
