Slice Houses are popping up all over. So happy that they are opening one soon near me in Porter Ranch as well, so excited! But not open yet and I was craving Slice House and Simi is the closest one. This location is right off Tapo Canyon near the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and Ace Hardware. Big parking lot, so parking is easy. The employees were very nice, helpful with questions and took our order and got our food out quickly, it was busy, so that is always great. I really like the minimalistic and modern look at Slice House and the black walls make it feel sleek and comfy inside. They have a wall TV's playing sports and lots of seating inside as well as patio seating outside. The have a self serve drink area as well. Now to the food, so many options with pizza here, Detroit style, New York style, Sicilian, grandma's style. Something for everyone's taste. We got the Detroit style motorhead's as well as a New York Style Wise guy. We also tried the pasta for the first time, let me just say amazing, home made hand pulled pasta, chewy and thick cut, really loved it, just wish there was more for $16. We got the Bucatini with meat sauce, try it, you will not regret it, YUM! If you want excellent pizza with a ton of variety and excellent pasta to enjoy with Family or friends for a hang out, this is the spot. Enjoy!

Really love the pizza's here. They are huge. You can order whole pizzas or slices. Service is friendly and seating is comfortable.

Slicehouse is a gameday special. They have amazing square pies and slices ready to go that I've been going to grab for years! My personal favorite is the Angeleno, but love other slices like the Detroit Rosa, Purple Potato, and this one in the picture that has pesto drizzle with no sauce(forgive me for forgetting the name). This location specifically has a nice seating arrangement and I have been able to see some good games here while enjoying one of their nice beers on tap!

I love how it's a mix of quick food and to order- some of the slices of pizzas are ready to order. They warm up the slices for you. I love how the pizza crust is thick and crispy

The food and the service was great! For two people we got two slices one detroit style with the red sauce on top and the Sicilian with pepperoni! It was delicious and the slices were huge.

I've honestly always enjoyed the space ever since I tried the first location in Westlake. It's a simple go to for any style pizza that you'd like. I prefer the New York here, but I've also had the Detroit and italian. The people are pleasant and it's always just a chill spot to go to for a quick bite. Depending on which location you go they have all the sports events played on the TVs which I think is pretty cool.

Just YUM. We love Slice House and will drive to get there. The place is just too cute and the service is the best. You order at a counter and out comes your food. You can get just a slice or a whole pie and they have this thick crust that is amazing. My grandson's favorite dish is their spaghetti. No matter if we are eating there or taking home he has to have it. They give a large portion and it is just super fresh, made to order spaghetti with a kick to it. I love their thick crust and always get a huge pie. We can take home what we don't eat and it heats up so well. The place is super clean, there is plenty of seating, the prices are fair and the food is great. What is there not to love.

I was so impressed by Slice House in Simi Valley. The employee who took my order was friendly and nice. There was a large variety of by the slice pizza options to choose from which made my decision a tough one. I decided to get the Sweet Gino and the Angelino. The Sweet Gino was a grandma style slice that was simple and tasty. The Angelino was a heavier slice of grandma style pizza with a lot of meat and a lot of flavor. I enjoyed combination of flavors in the Angelino. Both slices were delicious! I ordered a mixed greens side salad that was also simple. The pasta dish I decided to try was the gemelli with vodka cream sauce. I loved the texture of the pasta and the flavor of the rich vodka cream sauce. The 3 meatballs were great. They were flavorful and came with a lot of tomato sauce. The portion was shareable. Everything I ate is something I would come back to order. Slice House's menu is extensive! They have so much to choose from. I love that they have local beer on tap (Shout out to Tarantula Hill)! The inside of Slice House was clean and spacious with a lot of big TVs. This would be a fun spot to meet up with a big group or watch a sports game. There is also a lot of outdoor seating on their patio. Slice House is delicious!

If you are looking for a variety of options for pizza and flavors, this is a great place for you. We ordered 4 different types of pizza (grandma hot honey, Sicilian wiseguy, Sicilian sweet gino, New York pizza) and they all had a different flavor and taste. The reason this got a 4 and not 5 was because of the price. Each slice was between $5 - $7 and 4 pieces came out to around $30. I definitely think this is quality pizza but a little expensive

Ordered my daughter the gluten free Cal Italia pizza tonight. $30 later and BLOWN away by the lack of toppings. She loves their gf and we don't mind paying for good gf but I do mind being ripped off.

Tables were pretty close to each other but I don't think this was harmful to the experience at all just a thought. They had Christmas decorations still up. Food: We ordered the Calamari Fritti, the calamari was underseasoned but well fried and the shrimp that came with it was well seasoned but only came with 4 pieces. The pesto aioli that came with it was very tasty. Alfredo sauce in the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo was strong and its high fat content added a lot of body to it, very garlicky and American, but be warned it was very salty! The pasta was pretty overcooked. The Chicken Parmesan was well seasoned and quite a large portion, we chose to sub the mashed potatoes it comes with for a side of spaghetti (highly recommend for $4 extra). The spaghetti was a little undercooked but luckily the heat of the dish and rest of the food allowed it to get a little better as we ate. Service: We had called in and made a reservation ahead of time to make sure we could get a table. We got to the restaurant 10 minutes before our reservation and the host had somehow already crossed out my name, although that happened, they still had a table ready for us and we were seated within about a minute. The overall vibe that we got from our server was a little odd. She checked on us sporadically and it just felt that we were getting treated a little differently than others. With that being said, the bus boy was extremely professional and helpful. He brought out our food in a clean and calm manner. He was easier to get a hold of compared to our server and it felt that he was always willing and wanting to help.

The Food 5/5 As someone who follows a gluten-free diet, I had always avoided pasta restaurants, assuming options would be limited. I was thrilled to find an excellent gluten-free menu! I ordered the Salmon with Asparagus Pesto and a side salad. Both were absolutely delicious, the salad dressing is clearly homemade and very flavorful. My husband loved his Carbonara with Angel Hair, and our friends both enjoyed the Salmon Salad with asparagus and artichoke. We shared the Crème Brûlée to finish the night, and it was exceptional. The only downside was the service. Our waiter seemed a bit impatient from the start. Once our entrees were served, we didn't see him again until the very end of the meal. We all wanted a second glass of wine, but were never offered one, and our water glasses remained empty the entire time. It was a slow night, so the lack of attention was a bit surprising. The kitchen is doing everything right! The food is high-quality and safe for those with dietary restrictions. I will definitely be back for the salmon, and I'm hopeful that the service will be a bit more attentive on our next visit.

Absolutely terrible experience and some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered…read more We were planning my grandmother's 100th birthday celebration with approximately 50 guests. We met with Maria multiple times, visited the restaurant on three separate occasions, and were told we had a private patio room reserved for the event. Based on those assurances, our family moved forward with planning a once-in-a-lifetime celebration. Then, only a month before the event, we were suddenly told they could no longer accommodate us because it was a "busy hour." How do you tell a family they have a private space reserved for a 100th birthday, allow them to spend months planning around it, and then pull the rug out from under them at the last minute? This wasn't a casual dinner reservation--it was a milestone celebration that can never be recreated. What makes this even more disappointing is that my grandmother immigrated from Italy at 13 years old and specifically wanted to celebrate her 100th birthday here. That opportunity has now been taken away because management apparently decided that maximizing revenue during a busy time was more important than honoring a commitment they had already made. The ownership and management should be embarrassed by how this was handled. If they were unable or unwilling to host the event, they should have been honest from the beginning instead of leading us on for months. Their lack of professionalism, communication, and basic respect for customers turned what should have been a joyful family celebration into a stressful scramble to find another venue. If you're considering this restaurant for an important event, be aware that even after multiple meetings and what you believe is a confirmed arrangement, they may decide to cancel when it becomes more convenient for them. Our family will never trust this establishment again.
